@prettycindy you don't have to find love here in nairaland. There are a lot of men out there that can give you the kind of love you want. Some may want to chop $ clean mouth but your action or character may impress the person thereby making him to stay, love and cherish you. Also work by God's direction. Your spirit will direct you on whom to stay with b/c a lot of guys must come your way. Just be patient and choose wisely. ( To me, I will advice you stay till a year b4 having a serious affair because of your son's health.) That's after his birthday. Though you can have just friends to hang out with once in a while and also talk to on phone. Cheers!

@Joy, am not thinking nor talking about sexual relationship. I will never go into that whilst still nursing. But a relationship starts from somewhere. It takes time to love, trust and count on someone. At least i have to start from somewhere. Besides i need someone to talk to, chat with.

Hmmm,Nairaland is like a family to us and we are always willing to render assistance when needed.

My advice is that you should be very careful so you don't regret a second time,don't be too haste into starting another relationship. Just take your time to find that God's sent kind of man who will treat you like the Queen you are and brings you the joy of womanhood.

Thanks Chucky. Its not like am rushing into a relationship or want to. Its not a crime for me to have friends now, is it? The experience i had and the kind of maltreatments ex put me through is enough for me to hate men for the rest of my life but i choose not to because i know and believe that everyone is not bad. There are still some "normal", good, matured, responsible men out there who knows how to treat a woman well and who values marriage. I was desperate at 26years but now am 28yrs old, am no longer desperate.

Dear Sister, unfortunately you went through rough road in the first marriage and its not your fault that it went sour. However, you must not be afraid of Men because there is always a good listener meant for you. Men sometimes are ridiculous and mischievous to win a woman and later despise the course.
