So he made a slip of tongue, but does that warrant creating a new thread huh?

Thats not a slip of tongue, thats a grammatical blunder of the highest degree

For somebody †ђªt spent most of his life in yankee, its a shame.

I stated in my earlier post that Otedola is an illiterate: Find below the earlier post:

"Otedola is not intelligent. Period!
1) How could he expect that an incomplete audio recording would be admissible in the law court?
2) There's no common sense in suddenly waking up to expose a purported fraud 40 days after he had allegedly offered the bribe to Lawan to kill the House oil subsidy probe.
3) The matter was even made easy for Otedola to handle because he claimed that Lawan came to his house in Abuja to collect the bribe. If actually he put the SSS in the know of how he was being allegedly pressured to offer bribe against his conscience, Lawan should have been arrested at that point.
4) In security circles and anywhere in the world, the victim is arrested on the spot when entrapping is being applied. But this was not the case in this issue and that was where I thought all these allegations against Lawan are senseless, for now.
5) Since Lawan was not arrested at the point where the bribe was offered, then, the relevance of the entrapping was lost.
6) Marked money is usually done by applying powder on the money and this cannot last more than 24 hours. So, this issue is not beyond a hatched unintelligent plan to discredit and possibly kill the subsidy report. For now, Nigerians should resist this plan even though we don't trust the house of rep. members. We will deal with them later."

Abeg make una just remember to pay him royalty anytime you use the grammar. grin
Re: Otedola Overtakes Dame Patience by Ramcie(f): 3:46pm On Jul 04, 2012
Maybe my ears were deceiving me but from the audio Otedola seems to speak with a slight "IGBO" accent. The way he kept pronouncing "brother" was kinda odd for a yoruba man.

WATEVA,MAKE HIM BLOW GRAMMAR,HE IS STILL A bleeping BILLIONAIRE..............

You don't require excellent grammar to be a "thieving oil subsidy billionaire". I don't care about Otedola’s grammar or obvious illiteracy. I am only disturbed that he's a crook that will eventually not be caught.

Sheyun: Hum!
That was the first time I heard that guy voice, am confused, are we sure it's a slip of tongue or ...huh?
He is always smiling and not talk, that's what I do when am confronted with questions i don't have answers for.
Am still confused, even the recorded conversation, he didn't say much.
Pls correct me if my assumptions are wrong

Money don't talk. It is only pigheaded poverty stricken soul that makes noise like a state radio broadcasting cooperation.

Please don't be daft. English is our official language and is taught to everyone from an early age and up to the tertiary level. There is no excuse for bad grammar, and certainly not one as brainless as 'it is not our mother tongue'.

The Brits really succeeded in brainwashing you my dear friend. But maybe you have a point, Yorubas dont have an English word for Billionaire!! Next topic please.

hello ma, speaking the white man,s language doesn‘t make you inferior. Have you heard of the player called dennis berkgamp and how he could speak ELEVEN languages; Did you know that frank nweke speaks english, igbo, hausa and yoruba fluently. Do you know the kind of respect accorded to kofi anan because he is multi linguist? You see my dear, doing things in things in a white man‘s way doesn‘t make you inferior, rather it means you can do things in two ways (white and black). Have you heard of the saying “ there is power in diversity. Afterall you are speaking a white man‘s language, typing his language, using his inventions/gadgets, eating his food...................are we good chap?

It is "what's done in the dark will be brought to the light". You too missed it!Lol...

As regard Biblical verse in Luke 12:2-3 says, "Whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light..."

However, it is a biblical term.

Whether he is a billionaire or not, who cares?
My question is: What if he made the same blunder in Yoruba? Who cares, right?
Inferiority complex and mindset colonialism is still prominent in Africa.
Take it or leave it, whatever is done in darkness will come out in lightness.
