Few Hours ago an aircraft belonging to the Nigerian Airforce with Reg No 5N-BKS crash landed at the Benin Airport. We gathered that the officials of the National Emergency Management Agency(NEMA) are offering rescue assitance. DA42 MPP makes belly-landing at Benin Airport A Diamond Twin Star (DA42 MPP, registered 5N-BKS), operating as a light surveillance aircraft for PICOMSS, made a gear-up landing at its base, Benin Airport, this afternoon. Apparently It was a Military Trainer Aircraft that Landed. The plane did not crash but landed safely on its belly. Also this type of aircraft is fairly new, so for it to have a landing gear problem is surprising. |
