Need some advice here. I got a 2003 Honda Accord V6 about 2months ago with a mileage of 149,500 miles. I need to know if it's necessary to change the timing belt for the car. I would also like to know if there are any other parts that should be changed for this vehicle.

If you have the service history confirming a timing belt change, you probably do not have to change it, if not consider changing asap, a snap in the timing belt would surely be more expensive to rectify.
Things to consider changing as well are pre-tensioners and water pump.

Thanks man! I'll check the carfax history (I hope it will be detailed enough to show if the timing belt had been previously changed).

Some technicians would also place a label in the bonnet @ a secure corner or top of the engine, stating mileage of belt replacement.
