Would there be accompanying appropriate signage and not the silly hidden signs that the Local government councils create in order to entrap unsuspecting drivers. For anyone to have to pay as much as N50K, then there must be the requirement of well defined and legible road signs as well as proof e.g pictures, CCTV footage of the contravention. It would simply be unfair to rely on the claims of the traffic officer alone. In addition, there must be a compulsory right of appeal to an independent authority. |
