ogaemma: Not exactly 'wondrous'. Every amateur mathematician knows there's symmetry in numbers. E.g. Difference between two double-digit numbers when you reverse the digits is always 9 multiplied by the difference between each integer, when you subtract one from the other. I.e. 92 - 29 = 63, which is 9 X (9-2). When you go to three digits, it becomes 99 X (difference between first and last digits). i.e. 743 - 347 = 396 which is 99 X (7-3).
