Nairalanders una dey vex me ooo_why would u ppl doubt jan7th besides we won't do reg before resuming na shuo nawa 4una ooo,its when u resume u wud do do whatever,besides its even a week after resumption u wud register na wa sef for some people,and its Jan7th,even those in the student union have told me_abeg make una upgrade, this is unifasiti not second sch way dem go tel u resumption ages bfore u resume,and about d hostel stuff,I posted before that I calld d psn in charge pf USLB d lodging bureau,and he told me personally,this one na confirm not THEM SAY,e said they wud allocate it to Us,so chill abeg lau, before u ask questions make sure u read d previous threads thoroughly, and for those doubting jan7th no p ooo,u can stay at home,me knw say na dat day I de fall in sch and if d VC decides to chnge d date cos of SU protest ova cooking there's nothing we can do,but HALEEMA ADENIRAN who z part of d studnt union confirmd it dat d vC said 7th for freshers d nxt wik for stalites,as for cooking they av refused what d VC said cos he also said 450 naira a day for feeding,so cooking issue hasn't been resolved, and if u dnt bliv anything on dis threadnkindly don't post that d things here are false shey Jan 7th yaf reach nd wee dee nt resume? I really believe 7th of january then accomodation might be opened like 2wks after then so it means we'll have to sort ourselves in the time being;and as for the portal it hasn't been upgraded for 2012/2013 academic session payments,hopefully that should be done by next week,its a university not high school so u can get accomodation on first day of resumption,may God see us through! In a bit it will be over |

I have been an ardent follower of dis thread ever since d previous thread was creatd up til dis moment. But i think i have to post this in order to calm everyone down concerning the resumption... I'm nt a student neither am i an aspirant of U.I. But i've been 4lowin this thread in order to source info 4 a frnd of mine. And i must confess, u guys are trying... Kip up d gud work.... I'm Michael and i'm a student of funaab... We're all mates bt i was lucky to av resumed earlier coz my skul is fast... About accomodation, we were told dat fresh students were to resume by sept. 9, start registeration, orientation and go thru ict trainin bt since lectures were to start on oct. 8, we were nt granted entry into d hostel until oct. 3.... About registeration... In my skul, even a mnth after resumption, a lot of pple were nt yet thru wit their registeration. We're almost thru wit 1st semester and there are stil som ppl wu are yet to be fully registered. So, i implore u guys to calm down, al wil b wel..... ;-) *signin out* |

I heard frm a top official in ui dat jan 7 is nt feasible.He said by jan 11 would be d date of resumption and reg would follow.I think we shd wait 4 d correct info frm d web |

Make some pple no give demsleves hypertension before ui resumes... Me dey shout say UI will release d necessary infox few dayx to resumption..una no believe. UI no be secondary school wey qo qive u resumption date 4yrs b4 tym..lolx*remba dat*...a typical example is d clearance exercise...UI released d info and date on der site on Friday...they asked us to come for clearance on monday...say u neva learn from dat ni....anoda example na Last Yr..i can remba..i checkd last yr thread + asked a friend...accomodation was released Dec8...resumption date and calendar was oUT...dat same day....and they asked dem to resume Dec12...*if not for ASUU strike dat spoilt show*...zezeny and pple dat defered admission last yr can testify to dis...or if u av anybody dat got admission into UI 2011/2012 set..ask dem.. So for me, I believe UI qonna do tinx nextweek by God's grace..i believe its UI's culture lolx |
