Replace gear. Good luck finding 1 that is less than 300,000miles cheesy convert car to manual if you want to enjoy it, finding a functional transmission will be a herculean task.

I use original atf I got from luvinhubby for my EOD, my mechanic doing routine check up topped the oil with abro without my knowledge and I used the car for a long distance travel... now the gear is acting up, it can disengage at any time. I can just be driving and the next thing the engine will be on but no motion... I'm scared! What do I do? also, can EOD be converted to manual?

Drain and refill with atf dw1. You might need to do it 3 times if the initial drain didn't work
Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by GAZZUZZ(m): 9:00am On Apr 12, 2017
Drain refill 4500x4 18000 x3. 54000 excluding labor. Just buy another gear and rest

Hello, I recently noticed that my Accord 2008 model makes a rattling sound for like 1 0r 2 seconds at cold starting in the morning. I scanned the car and it threw no error codes. I read online and it seems this is prevalent to accords model of same year. The car drives well and everything works perfectly, guru in the house, What could be the problem?

Dont know if you have been answered.

Problrm is very common to this car.

The problem is usually the VTC actuator. In other words the intake camshaft head. A replacement would solve your problem. To find a good one is a herculean task. Replacement is very easy for a knowedgeable mechanic. Not more than an hr.

Its the part labelled 4

Its not like you will not get it, the problem is that since this engine has this specific problem most of the ones you may see are already bad.

My concern is the guarantee you will get if you buy a used one. Even with the guarantee, it may leave you with repeated workmanship charges and risk of tampering with a healthy engine.

Amazon and ebay is there to get an oem replacement if you can afford that.

Good evening guys, I just scanned my '05 Honda accord and came up with these codes

P0135 and P0141 - S1 heater circuit malfunction bank 1 sensors 1 and 2

P0341 - camshaft position sensor incorrect phase detected

P0011 - VTC system malfunction

I also believe my car is in limp mode. I have not been able to get it beyond 100 on the speedometer. Transmission threw up no codes.

Thanks.

2 & 3 should worry you, ask for raising switch & camshaft sensor from your parts seller, if you use the terms from the scan, they will tell you 'e no dey'.

Good evening bosses,

I've noticed that my Honda-accord 98 doesn't rev above 5000. I have the p0420 code on. I bought a new cat converter in December last year, I've had a panel beater check and his reply was that the cat isn't blocked.

What could be the problem here?

my brother's 95 accord revs above 6000 tho

We then are back to the p0420 code. How do I take care of it? If I clear the code, it comes back

Stop reving engines that high, not good for engine health.

Replace catalytic converter on bank1 to solve the P0420 code.

If exhaust is leaking before the downstream o2 sensor on bank1 it would throw a catalyst code. Is the exhaust leaking?
