Ogas in the house

Please, this socket has been dangling since I bought my car Nigerian used, I've searched to see where it's supposed to fit into but can't find. My mechanic too doesn't know where it fits and said I leave it like that.

Where does the socket fit into pls?

The rocker arm itself allows some form of oil flow through it and the parking on it has a filter like element on it that filters the oil. If one delays repeatedly in oil change, dirt covers the face of the filter and it blocks oil flow and can trigger the code on sensor.

Frequent oil change.
Cleaning out the rocker arm once in a while
And replacing the small sensor on the arm solves the problems.

Boss, I've been asking for the location of the rocker arm(bank1) Honda Accord 2006 V6, pls hep

GOODEVENING HOUSE.PLEASE AM A NEWBIE
WHO WANTS TO BUY A TOKS 2001 HONDA CIVIC.PLEASE ANY SPECIAL PROBLEM WITH THAT TYPE OF CAR?
HOW IS THE FUEL EFFICIENCY?
I READ ONLINE ITS A STUDENT RIDE AND VERY EFFICENT BUT I WANT TO GET A FIRST HAND INFO FROM SENIOR MEN IN THE HOUSE.
IS IT A GOOD CAR TO START UP WITH?
AM A STUDENT, SO AM BASICALLY GOING TO BE DRIVING IT ROUND CAMPUS,
THIS IS THE FIRST CAR AM BUYING ON MY OWN.
THANKS IN ANTICIPATION

Smooth car, good fuel efficiency, no known engine or gear related Achilles heels. For me, the best Civic Honda produced. Just make sure you keep a TD sensor (up and down engine sensor) handy, that is the hiccup with it, good a thing it is not expensive.

For a normal 06 accord, btw 9k - 14k depending on voltage but if for a hybrid, can only do a refill.

I recall you were using milemaster at some point. What I've learnt is that on cars as old as ours, it's best to stay clear from synthetic or semisynthetic oils.
I didn't have a good experience with milemaster when I tried it. Oil dried to the point of my CEL coming on, had I not instinctively checked my dipstick before starting the drive the story of my engine may have been different.

I've been using 5w-20 mineral oil and 5quarts (4.73L) is enough to get me through the 3500-4000 miles when I service the car. If you don't have leaks, you may discover that mineral oil 5w-20/30 may be good for your car.

What brand of mineral oil will you recommend? 21k for US mobil 1 is becoming a luxury. And can the mineral oil go for 4000 miles/6 month

I use STP Pro Formula (US brand), sells for 8k. There's no reason why it won't do the service interval you propose. I have also used Pennzoil. These days I am more concerned about the presence of a genuine API seal and not big brand names.

I'm close to 3, 000 miles on my V6, 7 months already. Is that 8k oil a 5W-30?
Do you mind posting pictures?

Can't seem to locate any brand with genuine API seal to buy in Nigeria so i just opted for Mobile 1(US).. Where do you buy?

You guys can use the US Spec Toyota Motor Oil for your Hondas. It is made by ExxonMobil (Makers of Mobil-1)

Price is 3k per Litre/Quart for both the 5w20 and 5w30

You can call 09086679585 to get it

Doesn't state whether it's mineral oil, semi or full synthetic.. 3 x 5quart = 15k.. instead i go just balance 5k buy Mobile 1(US) full synthetic na..
