Nothing like throttle speed sensor, what we have is wheel speed sensor and throttle position sensor.

hi guys,

I noticed a problem with my honda accord 2008/2010 model. Sometimes the accelerator does not respond when i step on it. Like the engine doesn't rev at all and the car doesn't move. I have to turn the car on and off like 4 times before it picks again. I also noticed my A.C causes it to happen too. Sometimes when i turn on the AC, it happens and just loses power. Any ideas as to what could be the matter?

I use a 2002 Honda Baby boy. For a while now, over a year, the gear take some time to change, I believe it's between 1 & 2. For like 2 or 3 seconds, the rpm goes higher than its needed, you feel the car's speed not going higher, then there is a slight jerk as the gear moves to 2. This happens every time the car drops speed below gear 2 and has to pick up speed again.

I've changed gear oil twice in the last one year.

What do you think is the problem and solution?

Also, the car fuel consumption seems to ne higher than it should be. Could this be the cause?

A mechanic said there is dirt inside the geat box, that it has to be opened and flushed out.

Just avoid some corporate car shops in buying parts, was buying brake pads for N25,000 from one till i got the same pads for N15,000 from Luvinhubby here on nairaland.

Please how much can I get a crankshaft and oil pump. My car makes horrible noise from the engine compartment when I accelerate only but sounds okay without pressing on the gas. I was told the oil pump/crankshaft is bad. @luvinhubby @gazzuz
