tee2faith:
@ gazzuzz luvinhubby and all, I scanned my High milage Honda Accord 2003 and I got the following codes:
P0135-Powertrain 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1; and
P0141-Powertrain 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2.
Please what could have triggered this codes and any possible solution, although the way the car gulps fuel, you will likely call it a drunkard sha.
Suggestions and cost implications will be highly appreciated. Thank you
GAZZUZZ:

what is your engine type? 4cyl or v6?
possible culprits.
Faulty O2 sensors, bank 1/2
Faulty wire harness on B1 and 2
Faulty engine Ecu.
With O2 sensors not functional, vehicle will gulp fuel.
Thanks @ Gazzuzz ,it's a Honda Accord 2003 4 cylinder engine. If it's the ECU, though I pray it's not, what other symptom will the car give. Please any idea how much it would cost to change the O2 Sensors Bank 1/2 ?

hello. Please my Honda baby boy is having some issues n I hope u can give me an advise on the possible cause.

Just recently, whenever I hit a pot hole or on a rough road, I usually hear a crackling sound and the car swerves to another direction. As in, unbalances. I hv done the alignment and wheel balancing but the problem still persists. Note that the steering is leaky too. But even though I fill the oil, it still makes the noise and swerves GAZZUZZ

I think it is the steering rack. mine had similar issues like if i was on top speed and applies break, it begins to veer towards on side. after changing the rack and doing alignment, it stopped. meanwhile, i still need a quote for tail lights for Honda element 2003 Model. Thanks all.

Gurus, a small query.

I just got myself a Nigerian used Honda accord 98 i4, registered in 2014, will it be wise to change the engine oil to the recommended 5w-30 oil grade now?

are you sure this code exists?

P0131 O2 sensor B1S1 circuit code. (replace sensor)

The P0170 code means that the powertrain control module is detecting a fuel trim that is outside the range of specification set by the vehicle’s manufacturer

P0171 O2 sensor has detected too much o2 in the exhaust, meaning the mixture of fuel to air is weak. Could be caused by a leak on intake on bank 1.
