Yours uses the ATTESA E-TS 4wheel drive system which is used in the Japanese legendary Nissan Skyline.
yeah man I love the car and its very fast that V6 under the hood was one of the ten best engines in 2003 by wards auto magazine, though many Nigerians don't know the car and they judge it by its exterior. Most Nigerians underestimate the car on the highway and that's when I unleash that DOHC 3.5 V6 grin I love the sound of the engine at high RPM's.. The only thing I don't like about the car is the four speed auto gearbox

What data do you have to support this?

I doubt the same power distributing system would be used on those vastly different chassis.

Edit: okay I see that they do share the basic one, not the pro. The lowly Pathfinder uses the same system too.

Cool .

Man, its a matter of flare and choice; it gives you satisfaction and confidence of wht you've got under your hood and even the safety that follows your customize stability;also a feel of your ride.. There's no way i can explain this to a non petrol head, but just take a lip from here; each time i enter my cars to drive , i feel this satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment on my steering wheels; even my painting thrills, acceleration, cornering , gear selections thrills me, but that doesn't happen when i'm in other peoples steering wheel, i dont know if you get it? so to me is no hassle but its thrilling getting things tune up that way especially by myself. It's always a huge relief from stress and long day activities, thats why i like travelling in my self driven car 100 percent , do all the twisting and kickdown as i like ..when i am driving my tune vehicles,it's entering into my rest and vacation.
Thank God you are beginning to get the drift here, get my point please because you all seem not get me except for @abatically, read all my previous post. I floored a 2008 Toyota Tacoma V6 @ 170 kph with my jalopy 1989 stock Camry which I believe over the year must have lost some power. Now the argument here is if that Tacoma was modified as @cityng as earlier stated, since he said I didn't see d engine. Would one buy a 2008 car and reduce the power? That's d argument and nothing more. I just said I was happy I zoomed pass him with all his power he couldn't maximize to pass me Pronto.

I never once said that the Tacoma was modified. Be sincere in your discussions .

Based on my research they do on certain year models at least.

But no worries, any AWD is better than none.

You said I shouldn't judge with the badge as it could be misleading, you then gave example of the Mazda pickup you had. So what we're you implying if not the Tacoma been modded.

I'm not responsible for any outlandish conclusions that you chose to jump too.

I said you can't tell what's under the hood by just performance alone.

I never once said the Tacoma you allegedly saw was modified or not. Even you don't know that.

You win, don't want to be accused of derailing the thread. Again.

okay sir, I'll try and do that. I'm constrained to an extent, time and distance are my two biggest factors...

There's absolutely nothing wrong with automatics. I personally prefer manual, though I rock both. Some bigger cars are best with auto though.

With regards to manuals being faster than autos, it's not an old myth. It's very true, unless you're referring to newer twin-clutch / DSG / SMG / Powershift automatics that are fitted to later high-end cars
What a beautiful post!!!! Siena, I don't know if you realize how attractive I find you, automobile wise wink

This thread is doing more harm than good. The more you people post these images, the more some members, especially kids and teenagers that visit this section, will go out to do the same to prove meaningless point. Not everyone will survive it to come back and post their images or tell their stories.

My concern is the bad example this thread is teaching the younger ones. A lot of teenagers have wrecked their parents car, not just to show off, but to prove a point. And that's what this thread is doing: Encouraging them.

Funny thing is, there is no big deal with the speed on images people are posting here. Even the tiny Kia Picanto can attain these speeds. What matters is not the speed, but ability of the car and the driver to handle the speed been pushed at.

Left to me, this thread shouldn't have existed.
