Investment / Re: How To Invest In Federal Government Bonds by a1solution: 9:04pm On Mar 01, 2013
blink182: I wonder why this vague explanation made front page. Feelamong has a better and more detailed thread on this topic as he is an active bond buyer. This thread didn't even make it known that you need more than a million naira before you can purchase.

Bond is not meant for people with little capital.

Investment / Re: Which Nigerian Stocks Have You Bought Or Sold? by a1solution: 5:26pm On Mar 01, 2013
Billyonaire: If you wanna make a kill in Nigeria, make sure you have funds to buy at least 5% of any company stock and be a Director, anything less in this clime doesnt just make sense financially. I advise people to get brokers in USA and trade with established Stocks in USA using Merryl Edge, Charlesschwab or Etrade, simply the best way to sleep while your funds keep growing.
the best post in this stock market issue.

Nairaland / General / Re: Is Time Spent On Nairaland Worth It? by a1solution: 9:00am On Feb 27, 2013
val_dubem: I see people with time spent on nairaland up to 4months; then I wonder why they spend all their precious time surfing d net and Nairalanding.

Time translates to money.
Though personally, I ve gained lots with my 11days plus on NL.

My question is this: is it wise to invest soo much time on Social Network where U gain little or nothing (financial wise) or better still, invest soo much time on social network acquiring knowledge with little/nothing to show for it?
it depends on why you are in the site daily some people are for fun while some are for useful research purpose, some with dubious mindset.

Death is expected but its just that we don't know when. So don't be suprised people die every minute, its just that you're not aware because you don't know them or didn't hear about them. RIP to all the departed souls. The most important thing is to do good always because I could be next, you could be next and every other person could be next.
