A [s][/s]woman late last night allegedly killed her husband, three children and also took her own life in Makurdi, the benue state capital.

It gathered that the sad incident occured at their residence on Vandeikya Street in the state capital.

A source said the ugly incident may have been as a result of a misunderstanding between the couple.

It was gathered that the windshields of the vehicle belonging to her husband was also smashed.

Until his death, the husband, Nicholas Adetsav was an administrative staff of the local government service commission.

A Zimbabwean man was, on Wednesday night, left injured after he was thrown from the third floor of a flat by a hooker, following a misunderstanding over payment for the sex services she rendered.

Th man, only identified as Mandewo, sustained head, back and leg injuries and was rushed to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospital, where he is receiving treatment.

Mandewo said that the woman known as Trish, threw him off the apartment when he refused to disclose his bank details. He said they agreed for a $5 quickie before she shifted goalpost after the act.

"I hooked her in the street and we agreed on $5 for sex but she demanded $100 soon after the quickie," said Mandewo. Mandewo said he offered to add $10 but she insisted on $100, demanding him to disclose his bank details.

“When I refused, she fought me along with her flat mate and threw me over the window. She took my car keys and I want to believe she has disappeared with the car," said Mandewo, while writhing in pain.

Comedian I Go Dye has stated that Nigerian workers are the most used in the world as he lent his voice to the demand for an increase in minimum wage in Nigeria.

Different labour groups have threatened to go on strike if their demands of N30,000 minimum wage is not met. They have advised Nigerians to stock their homes with food and needed materials ahead of the the strike which they say will begin on the 6th of November.

Reacting to the call for a new minimum wage, comedian I Go Dye compared the treatment Nigerian workers are getting to what their counterparts in the rest of the world are getting.

Sharing on Instagram, he wrote:

Nigerian man, Emery Henry Ogba has been arrested by Thai Tourist Police after he allegedly duped a Thai woman in Lampang provice of Bt100,000 nearly N2million.

Tourist Police Bureau deputy commosioner said in a press conference yesterday that the suspect, Emery Henry Ogba, was a member of a gang believed to have a monthly income of Bt1 million from illicit operations.

Ogba was nabbed at a department store in Nonthaburi province on April 21, following an arrest warrant issued by a Lampang Court on March 29 on charges of fraud and overstaying his visa.

Police seized Bt42,700 in cash, some ATM cards and bank books, and four mobile phones.
Surachet said that one of the conspirators was a Thai woman.


The suspect used the Facebook photo of another man. After about two months, he said he wanted to send her ? a large sum of money and some other items, but he asked her to send him some money to pay tax. A Thai woman then called the woman and convinced her that she was a government official and that she should do what “Westwood” requested.

The victim wired him money twice, totalling about Bt97,000. The next time the so-called government office rang her trying to convince her to wire more money, the sound of a baby crying was heard during the telephone conversation.

The Nasarawa state police command has arrested a 22-year-old man identified as Bello Musa, for killing his elder brother, Abdullahi Musa, with a matchete, over his missing cow in Akwuate village in Doma local government area on March 9th. Bello gave the deceased a fatal cut on the neck, when a scuffle ensued between them over the missing cattle.

Narrating how he killed his brother, Bello said
"My brother, Abdullahi and myself took our cattle for grazing. Later we discovered that one cattle which was not our own had joined our herd. We were three who made the discovery – Abdullahi, one Ibrahim and myself. Abdullahi and I agreed to sell it. Later he asked me to go and sell it in the market. As I was taking the cattle, it escaped from me. I returned back to tell Abdullahi. He did not believe me. He accused of selling the cattle N300,000. I tried to explain to him, but he insisted that I sold the cattle for N300,000. My father tried to settle the matter, without success.

“Abdullahi said that I must pay N300,000 for the cattle or he would kill me. I challenged him on why he would want to kill me over the cattle that escaped from me. Then he began making phone calls to his friends, telling them I am a liar and that I sold the cattle for N300,000. I became very angry and we started fighting. In the course of the fight, he injured me on my right hand and I cut him with my cutlass on the neck.”

Bello then ran to the General Hospital in Eleye area to treat his wound. The eagle-eyed doctor who attended to him, became suspicious after listening to the story of how he sustained the injury. He carefully treated him and then stepped aside to make a call to the Eleye Police Station. A team of policemen came to the hospital and arrested him. He was subsequently handed over to the Nasarawa police headquarters where he was detained for further investigation.

A 23-year-old graduate of the Ebonyi State University, Adeyinka Adelekan, will not be able to commence her National Youth Service Corps this month as planned after a sport utility vehicle knocked her down around Skiddo bus stop, Ajah, Lagos State.

Adelekan, who studied Geology at the university, reportedly suffered fractures in his legs and brain injuries as a result of the crash.


She was said to have been admitted to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi Araba, and had yet to come out of a coma since December 19, 2017, when the accident happened.
PUNCH Metro learnt that Adelekan was going to buy drinks for herself and her elder sister around 4pm on that day.

She was reportedly standing on the median, waiting to cross to the other side of the road, when the SUV – a Toyota RAV 4 – driven by one Saviour Henry, 26, allegedly veered towards the median and knocked her down.

It was gathered that Henry lost control of the vehicle while trying to prevent a Toyota Highlander, driven by one Oluwatobiloba Olorunosebi, 19, from hitting his SUV from behind.The drivers were arrested by the police from the Langbasa division, while Adelekan was rushed to a private hospital for treatment.

She was subsequently referred to St Nicholas Hospital, Lagos Island, where she underwent a brain surgery and was placed in the Intensive Care Unit for over two months. The victim was taken to LUTH when there was no improvement in her condition despite the family spending millions of naira.

The suspects, according to the police, drove without valid driving licences and were arraigned on three counts bordering on reckless driving before an Igbosere Magistrate’s Court.

Manyeva Dlamini has taken the family of his ex-wife, Ruth Thembisile Sibiya, to court to have his cattle back. Dlamini contends that Sibiya lied about being a virgin.

A man in Swaziland has demanded from his in-laws his 24-cow bride price back after reportedly discovering that his wife was not a virgin at the time they got married.

However, Sibiya denies ever making such a claim. She also insists that Dlamini knew that she was not a virgin and that she was already three months pregnant on their wedding day. Court papers reportedly indicate that Dlamini, who is a teacher, began his relationship with Sibiya while she was still his student in high school.

She said:

One of the 15 wives of Africa’s last absolute monarch was buried yesterday after apparently taking her own life.

Former Miss Teen Swaziland, Senteni Masango, 37, who married King Mswati III of Swaziland in 2000, was found dead at her private palace before dawn on Friday. It is believed that she had been suffering from depression and last week had been banned by the royal court from attending the funeral of her sister.

The king’s wife is said to have taken an overdose of about 40 amytriptyline capsules. Amitriptyline is an antidepressant. Masango, a mother of two, married King Mswati at the age of 18.

The police in Niger State have arrested a 25- year-old man, Tunde Vincent, for allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl at Madalla village in the Suleja Local Government Area of the state.The father of five allegedly ambushed his victim and assaulted her in an uncompleted building in the area.

The incident occurred sometime in January this year, when the girl was on her way from an errand to Madala town.


The suspect said that he had been engaging in the act for some time.
He said, “I don’t have appetite to make love to grown up women; I prefer little girls to satisfy my sexual urge and enjoy doing that as long as I want it; each time I stopped, something would push me to do it again.”

The Police Public Relations Officer, Muhammad Abubakar, said the suspect had confessed to the crime and regretted his action.
He added that the suspect was arrested by the police operatives attached to Madalla Division.
Abubakar said the command had concluded investigation and would soon arraign the suspect in court.
