Just so you know not alL devices have youtube pre-installed and not all devices accept youtube, especially old version Andriod devices. SO IF THE YOUTUBE IS THE CAUSE OF THE BROHAHA, then there is no case.

I don’t know why people will always support buyer because they have a prejudice believe at sellers here are scammers, so if they call you out for a little misunderstanding then they don’t even want to be unbias, it’s automatically a scam case.

In this case it’s a mere misunderstanding between a seller who just want to sell his tabs and a buyer who is inpatient to get value for her money

See how smooth a transaction went with him, I returned one and he even sent more to choose from. Note I am not living in lagos.

There was no mention of youtube before the transaction (except for the voice note we havent listen to) so if he said he came with tabs that can do youtube did he say he came with tabs that can do youtube because of her request, just saying that some of them can actually do youtube from the options he made available?

1. buyer had issues because tab could not do youtube, she claimed that she told seller even before buying, that tab must be able to support youtube (that was her first claim that she made it clear she needed on that can support youtube via a voice note) - i said claim because no evidence and the follow up evidence shows she mentioned youtube 2 days after she got the tab.

2. tab doesn’t support youtube okay, good but check her posts she always say "tab doesn't support youtube and that nothing works on it which from all i have gathered is not true because she didnt mention the tab is faulty just that it has a lower version of android which doesnt support youtube app, remember she even claimed same tab doesnt support youtube on web which is false and she had to retract that.

5. seller was attacked by almost everyone for such conditions and buyer continued the name calling and all.

we are human, seller is human too, omo i go vex too, like what? you have tarnished my image you know what? lets do it as business, i will not deal with compassion, no more refunding because truly no body will like to look like a looser which you will all make the seller look if he refunds and seller as the winner.

From her own screenshot when the first tab had charging issues, seller offered refund and to collect back tabs, she insisted in replacement, i am not blaming her for still insisting on replacement though but at least for the seller to say he want to refund and that she can still keep the tab till he is free to pick them up, that even shows seller was ready to please his customer.

If you dont sell stuffs you wouldn't understand the type of customers we meet everyday.

Note, this deal hasnt gotten soar yet from their one-on-one chats but she quickly opted to come tarnish sellers image just because she is a social media person, cmon lets not be bias in our judgement.

I bought a TLC deal (hp omen) from @emmanu19 on the 22nd of April; it was delivered to me on the 6th of May.
The laptop was properly sealed when it arrived, even though he confirmed it was a used laptop, so I didn’t bother opening it.

After a week, i sold it to a reseller who sold it to another vendor.
The reseller didn’t bother checking either, because we’ve been conducting smooth business transactions for months & never had any issue.

When the vendor delivered the laptop, the buyer opened the box & confirmed that it had a crack.
So, it was returned to me.

Upon receipt, i contacted @emmanu19 & asked for pictures.
Of all the pictures he sent, he mysteriously didn’t take pictures of the cracked part & said that he would refund or pay “small money” as a rebate.

I asked him to hold on because, the reseller said, he could find someone to fix the frame & see if he could sell it afterwards, which would be a win win for all.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t repair it, so i told @Emmanu19 & he said he would return the exact amount i paid (465k) & that if I didn’t return it before the end of May, he wouldn’t take the laptop back.

I felt attacked because, i was only trying to settle the issue amicably, then he said the worst I could do would be to report him here & he wouldn’t reply.

I was surprised that he changed the narrative. It is lucid he knew the laptop had a crack before he shipped it & deliberately cropped the cracked part out of the pictures he took.

Yesterday, the 30th, I returned the laptop to his handler, only for him to say that, i wouldn’t get my money until he sells the laptop or after two weeks.

Proof is attached for all to see & judge. I hope he tenders his so all can see who is at fault.

There are a lot of assumptions here from previous replies (he intentionally sold you a cracked laptop without disclosing that to you).

Did he admit he was aware of the crack?

The case is dicey because you should have checked the item, even if not at pickup but when it got to you.

it will be a bad one on Emmanuel's reputation if he knew it had a crack and didnt tell you.

i think the best is to just collect your money or fix it and sell,just do your calculations and see which will pay you best

If this has gone the other way; picker got to location and found out laptop was bad, tried calling buyer and no response and she left then sent failed pickup.

Buyer wakes and start complaining that he is aware and wanted it that way and was not going to pay failed pickup fee.
