Politics / Re: Ogun APC Official Refuses To Register Amosun Loyalists (Video) by AgbariOjukwu1: 8:52am On Feb 10, 2021
Gbagura:
No they won't try that. Buhari would be told about the new development and perhaps externals sent to conduct the exercise. Amosun isn't a pushover in ogun politics. All these jokes is on Dapo and his cohorts. This revalidation is to weaken tinubu structures hence the advantage Amosun has due to his closeness with the president.

All the federal appointments coming to ogun state goes to amosun which the latest being the newly appointed ambassador to UK who happens to be the chairman of default APM. Amosun is a smart and rugged politician. Like I said, these won't fly cos national leaders of the party would frown heavily on this. They've been trying to reconcile all warring factions in APC.

Take note!

Leave Mynd44 alone, they only read newspapers and make their analysis. This revalidation exercise is a political game. Dapo knows Amosun is street and not a pushover. What happened in 2019 was because Oshiomole was the party chairman, there's no way Dapo could have won the primaries.

Controls where with what?
Once his supporters get shut out by Dapo, it's over for him.

Dapo is the governor and hold all the aces.

You said Dapo is the governor? Who told you they can't shut Dapo himself out? Didn't they shut Amosun out too while he was governor too?

Why do you think Tinubu, Akande and others are lamenting over this revalidation exercise?
Politics / Re: Ogun APC Official Refuses To Register Amosun Loyalists (Video) by AgbariOjukwu1: 8:45am On Feb 10, 2021
Mynd44:

He doesn't. His camp is reporting as time goes. If you recall, Akinlade won Abeokuta South with less than a thousand votes. Even then Amosun's popularity was already washing out.

The game is to keep the numbers and then deny him ticket. He can decamp though but that is almost a gone tale especially in Abeokuta South and North

You are saying what you don't know. Akinlade didn't win Abeokuta South. He won Abeokuta North, Ewekoro, ifo in Ogun central with APM.

Not surprised one bit. Dapo Abiodun might be gentle but the people supporting him will never forgive Amosun and will do everything to deny him another senate term.

If his supporters can't join APC, then they can't vote for Amosun in the primary. Overtake don overtake.

Nigerian politics is comedy unlimited

Amosun controls Ogun central. It will be difficult to shut him out there.

They can never be satisfied. When you continue a project, they will wail you didn't start it and when you abandon it, they will say there is no continuity. You know absolutely NOTHING about governance. I can give you list of several projects he started and have completed some and still working on others

So police now do the job of EFCC, they can’t do without yahoo boys money, the money sars were raking in can’t be allowed to go just like that.

It's the primary duty of the Police to prevent and detect crimes. Cyber crime is also a crime.

It's like saying RRS shouldn't arrest Kidnappers because they are not the Anti-kidnapping unit.

Politics / Re: Edo 2020 Governorship Election Debate On Channels TV: PDP Vs APC by AgbariOjukwu1: 8:39am On Sep 14, 2020
freshboi88:

So on a debate the proper way to go about it is to attack your opponent without saying ur own plans and how exactly u hope to achieve it.

No wonder we are where we are with dumb skull citizens like u.

Your father must be the dumb skull, No wonder you inherited his stupidity.

Because if truly you had sense, you will know that a debate also involves arguments and rebuttals.

It's during manifesto you get to solely discuss plans and how you intend to achieve them because you have ample of time to do that unlike in a debate.

In a debate you just talk about your plans on the surface because of inadequate time which Iyamu did.

You don't expect Iyamu to keep quiet and watch Obaseki lie, of course he has to address many of the things obaseki had said. Obaseki too did the same.

Iyamu is a trained Lawyer, you ignoramuses expect him not to understand how a debate works? I laugh in your stupidity.

U watched ur own from BBN channel. Have u seen channels official result?.. The gap Obaseki gave him isn't even close.

Your problem is that you don't know how to assess candidates in a debate. You expect a candidate to discuss his plans on agriculture and how he intends to go about it in 2mins?

People are funny sha.

This is a debate not a manifesto talk. There's nothing bad in Iyamu attacking Obaseki's points if he finds them untrue or illogical. Obaseki too attacked the government of Oshiomole and the one Iyamu served in, he even corrected some of the claims Iyamu made which is normal.

Obaseki has no confidence, he was jittery all through. He seems not to know much about the state for an incumbent governor.

Iyamu said something about the school of midwifery being closed for two - three years now and inadequate healthcare personnel in the state. Obaseki could not say anything reasonable instead he was talking Uniben teaching hospital controlled by FG and Telemedicine.

We are talking about health care that needs to be accessible to all, you are saying telemeidicine.

Iyamu said the state lost money in an agriculture scheme, Obaseki agreed and blamed herdsmen and Covid 19 for that.

About human trafficking, Obaseki blamed previous administrations for not doing enough while Iyamu said he will enforce the laws prohibiting Human trafficking and stop the rural -urban drift.

Obaseki was asked about his academic qualifications instead he was being clever by saying he graduated from the University but that was never the question, Iyamu had to correct him because obaseki was giving people lots of false impression. Iyamu asked how he was able to present 3 o'level credits to gain admission and if he claims he has A'levels why hasn't he presented them.

This is a debate like i said and not a manifesto talk, it was right for Iyamu not to spare obaseki by not allowing him mislead the public because it was obvious obaseki was just doing that.

Obaseki said he worked to bring Oshiomole into power and Oshiomole was staying in Lagos Iyamu again had to remind him that he only contributed 100k to the election and that the first time Obaseki would vote in Edo state was in 2016.

Obaseki was just speaking unnecessary grammar and brought thugs as the audience to cheer him up.

If you want to know Iyamu's plans, why not read his simple agenda. Debate is different from manifestos.

Obaseki lost the debate.
