Are smartphones going to buy this special innovation from them?

like I am yet to understand how to fix this into other smartphone devices.
Phones / Re: Why Oppo Phones Are Worth Buying? by Andywhty(m): 12:42pm On Jul 17, 2020
Baba leave story. Let us drop price now, between OPPO and Xiaomi device how offers better quality devices?
DarkJeddi:
For 150K you get a Mi Note 10 Lite..
In which way is the OPPO Reno better?
If you want to do a comparison, always endeavor to have the price points in view or else you are being biased..

AND PEOPLE ARE STILL FOOLISH TO BUY THE DEVICE, KNOWING THEY HAVE MANUFACTURER'S ISSUE
One0Random0Girl:

shocked shocked Why does that keep happening? If you have a receipt, you have to return it and get a new one. I think what you're facing is manufacturer's problem and I'm sure warranty covers that. Good luck!
Phones / Re: OPPO A12 & A31 Launched in Nigeria: Features And Specifications by Andywhty(m): 2:17pm On Jul 15, 2020
GREEDY? FOR SELLING MAD ASS PHONE AND STILL LEAVE IT AT A CONSIDERABLE PRICE? I FEEL THIS GUYS ARE HERE TO HELP. IMAGINE COMING INTO NIGERIA WITH POPUP CAMERA AND GREAT BATTERY AND EVERY BRAND IS ALREADY DOING SAME.

THINK TWICE BEFORE USING WORDS
jericco1:
Oppo is very greedy. There is no difference between them and Tecno. My Xiaomi over this anytime anyday
Phones / Re: OPPO A12 & A31 Launched in Nigeria: Features And Specifications by Andywhty(m): 2:13pm On Jul 15, 2020

Nerro042:

Phones / Re: OPPO A12 & A31 Launched in Nigeria: Features And Specifications by Andywhty(m): 12:03pm On Jul 15, 2020

Me self nor mind keep my 80k until money complete buy OPPO than get the Note 8
DarkJeddi:
So basically you prefer an OPPO Reno 2 worth about 150K to a Xiaomi Note 8 worth about 80K?

Phones / Re: Why Oppo Phones Are Worth Buying? by Andywhty(m): 9:08pm On Jul 10, 2020
Not far from the truth. They all from one firm.
skywalker240:
Oppo make decent devices,

but lets not start with the xiaomi comparism here.

my only flaw with oppo is their pricing.

but her sister brand vivo and realme makes cheap phones though.
Phones / Re: Why Oppo Phones Are Worth Buying? by Andywhty(m): 2:19pm On Jun 24, 2020
Last year bro
jakD:

When was that please?
Phones / Re: Why Oppo Phones Are Worth Buying? by Andywhty(m): 2:18pm On Jun 24, 2020
I did choose OPPO A9 2020 again over any midrange device in the market. I will love to see a review of their new A31.
OCTAVO:
Using Oppo A9 2020 without single regret, battery is insanely better than Xiaomi's battery. ColourOs 7.1 makes the experience nicer. They included many new features, also no silly ADs everywhere like Xiaomi devices.
Phones / Re: Why Oppo Phones Are Worth Buying? by Andywhty(m): 2:00pm On Jun 24, 2020
Got my A9 2020 for N89,900 then
jakD:

How much is the A9 bro?
Phones / Re: Why Oppo Phones Are Worth Buying? by Andywhty(m): 1:47pm On Jun 24, 2020
So I can say that OPPO phones are really good based on real experience. I have an OPPO A9 2020 that I bought last year (still one of my proud decisions in life). Looking at negative comments about the chipset when it dropped earlier, surely you'll have a double mind, but I allowed my need to experience the OPPO phone myself to win.
But I think before you actually let the chance of buying one go, you should give it a try at your own experience. My OPPO A9 2020 had the best features for a midrange device compared to the ones then and nowadays.
The battery size is really applaud-able, mad ass cameras beating a lot of flagship devices, although a bit of its downside is the processor, although I don’t see how it affected the performance of the phone, up still now the phone doesn’t lag unlike my friends Samsung and Xiaomi phones they argue to come with the best processor but complain a lot about the lagging.
Conclusion:
Always try at your own experience to know the truth

Phones / Re: Oppo Produces Cool Devices But Why Are They So Overpriced? by Andywhty(m): 10:30pm On Jun 23, 2020
Mehn e too sure me if you see better thing you go pass am or leave am. OPPO Reno3 overpriced? Haa your case can only be judged in heaven.
Darlinx01:
Oppo a subsidiary of bbk electronics have been a major player in d smartphone market together with its sibling OEMs oneplus and vivo. Oppo phones while cool with major tech advancements, why are they so overpriced unlike oneplus, realme or even vivo?
i went to a nearby retail store looking for a phone to purchase wit a friend. He saw the reno 3 loved the design and d specs bt the price the salesperson called was a total rip off.

Phones / Re: Netflix HD Certified Smartphone Devices by Andywhty(m): 1:09pm On Jun 18, 2020
Netflix feature on this device is the very reason am getting it
vhenronica:
Amongst the list of devices launched in 2020, it’s baffling that so many affordable and even a few high-midrange premium phones do not support HD streaming on apps like Netflix irrespective of the premium subscription pack.

Primarily, the issue is the missing Netflix HD Certification, the Widevine DRM Level 1 (L1) certificate which is required by all major content streaming platforms for HD streaming. But even if your phone has a DRM L1 certificate, there are chances that it doesn’t support HD streaming on Netflix (as is the case with new Realme 6-series and Redmi Note 9-series phones).

That’s because apart from the DRM L1 certificate, additional approval by services like Netflix is also required for HD streaming. Devices that aren’t acknowledged by Netflix won’t support HD streaming even if they have a DRM L1 certificate.

Amongst Devices launch in 2020, OPPO Reno3 series is one out of many that have that amazing HD feel and this can be attributed to the fact that OPPO has made great effort to enhance both their Hardware and Software of the OPPO Reno3 series especially on audio and visual.

In terms of the visual innovation, OPPO Reno3 series comes with AMOLED and Super AMOLED screen display that reaches a higher level of brightness because of the E3 luminescent material, Best color saturation with the aid of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

As for audio, the Reno3 comes with Dolby Atmos’ support. Not only is it an improvement on regular A/V content, but it also offers a close-to-action stereo effect (for Dolby Atmos certificated content).

All this comes together to give an amazing and cinematic feel streaming on Netflix HD for more than 12hours which is achievable via optimized power consumption and temperature control. With these premium features, the Reno series comes at different prices to suit different income classes.

Phones / Re: My People Be Careful Of Xiaomi Marketers by Andywhty(m): 12:14pm On Jun 08, 2020
Mehn, OPPO phones are good phones that's for sure. I noticed good phone brands do not shout on nairaland.
vhenronica:
So I feel this thread is so necessary because as at last year this same Xiaomi marketers made me get the Redmi note 7 which lasted for just a 2months and trust me the camera hype was not what I saw and what got me pissed is the fact that my screen fell and broke and the screen wasn't available. Who produces the phone without making available the spare parts. Really Xiaomi threads should be avoided.

Presently I am using Oppo A9 2020 and Samsung J6 plus. And I feel all Samsung and OPPO smartphone should be promoted.

Please share your bad experience or regret having a Xiaomi device.

Op how much were you paid to be sniffing around for oppo marketers. Connect your guy na. We follow Dey house.

Well the device is actually nice. What I see Oppo doing is simple They don’t find customers for their products, they find products for the customers.

My brother, everybody copies from somewhere. Even Oppo copied from somewhere. It is now how you make use of the information you copied that makes the difference. Abi is there anything new under the sun these days?

Mr, where did OPPO copy from? talk with prove. See it’s so obvious that every smartphone is copying this OPPO brand. They started the smartphone photography thing now all smartphone are opting in( the likes of techno, Nokia, Xiaomi is getting a little smart with theirs). Tell me which naija phone had better battery size until OPPO dropped devices over 4000mAh.
