Business / Re: Has ATM Machine Ever Seized Your Card Before? by annoymous: 6:26pm On Jan 08
Yesso. And it was so tiring enh. Twas on one of my lag escapades all d way from ido ekiti. Went to buy suya at allen jxn and used the atm on my way back to General hospital, ikeja. Twas after i got back to GH that i realised my ATM card wasnt on me n dat was around 10pm. Dammn - i knew i had left in the ATM as i took a bike from the bank straight to my friends' place(in GH). There was no customer waiting in line after me when i used it so i guess the atm just swallowed it when nobody was removing the card from its slot. so i went back to the bank n complained to the security guards who really werent much help. Twas on a saturday night and i had to leave lag for work in ekiti the next day. I eventually returned to the bank after like a month and retrieved the atm from customer care. Whew
Celebrities / Re: Bisi Komolafe Didnt Bleed But Was Receiving Blood- Doctor by annoymous: 12:18pm On Jan 07
londonrivals: A lot of stories have been flying around, and we also got so many comments that suggested it was a spiritual attack. We couldn’t post them because almost all fingers were pointing at a particular actor.

Some websites have also said it was a spiritual attack too. Some said it was due to the negligence of the Doctors who took care of her. But one of the doctors
who treated her, has this to say;

It was not just a miscarriage she had I treated her in my hospital few weeks before her demise where I counselled and referred her to UCH. She kept on
receiving blood without bleeding and her pcv kept on going down. I learnt the pregnancy was terminated to save her life and in all she took about 40 units of
blood within 3 months. It was not negligence on the part of the Doctors who saw her but the nature of an
ailment that kept drying up her blood without any active bleeding in her body.

SOURCE-www.informationnaija.com/bisi-komolafe-didnt-bleed-but-kept-receiving-blood-doctor/
I doubt the veracity of this. What kind of doctor will come out and give details of his patient to the press without her consent? What happened to patient confidentiality?

@rudysmith, grow up.
That he hasnt won the world cup with Argentina doesn't take away from the fact that he is probably (and arguably) the greatest footballer that ever lived.
Goes to tell us that winning the world cup is not a 'one man business' and so Argentina should put her house in order.

I really dunno how much the exams cost as i wrote the GRE instead.
@ferdimako however says each costs about $175 equivalent to about N27000.
Try googling 'GMAT nigeria' for possible test centres, cost n payment methods.

mikky4all: Pls house is it compulsory to have IETLS, TOEFL and/or GMAT before u can gain admission to US universities. I need fast response pls

Though they give you an added advantage, they are not compulsory. Most schools require a standardised test like GRE or GMAT but if you do your research well, a few schools do not. Some schools also waive it if you meet some specific requirement eg if you have passed the MCAT or all steps of the MLE for example. Having said this, it is still recommended that you write these tests for scholarship consideration and to satisfy the VOs at the embassy. Some schools also require TOEFL from intl students. I think IELTS is mostly UK.

@kpolli, justwise, bigfrancis21 y'all shd take chill pills. Ofcos kpolli knows dat d essence of dis thread z to help each oda n all but d question @ceejay asked leaves too much to be desired IMHO. im kinda new here too but i dont go about asking questions like dat. Least he could have done z read through the thread - coupled wiv google, he would have gotten infinitely more knowledge than whatever responses this particular question would have garnered.
Btw, im an mph fall 2013 hopeful waiting for responses from schools. This thread has been mighty helpful. Keep up the good work.

Me, i'll jejely go home n tell my parents and trust my mom, next day she z in school and den d guy would arrange himself. In secondary school, der was also dis guy who would make a mistake n when u correct him, all hell will be let loose, only for him to come for his next period and effect a correction. Itwas fun @ d tym - i was immortal @ maths, esp arithmetic. Oh my - such nostalgia.
