It hurts to see africans arguing about the white mans land. I mean, the brits colonised ur ancestors, brainwashed, killed and maltreated them. Oh now, u live there tryna claim u're better off than a fellow african staying in the US. And y'all staying in the US, didn't u read about Richard Wright? Have u forgotten that ur ancestors worked as slaves and went through hell in the hands of slave-owners? Don't you know that u wouldn't be there if home's govt hadn't fail? Who cares whether u're balling in UK or US? A nigerian is involved here. Whether u stay in Doha, Geneva, Tokyo or Stockholm. A NIGERIAN beheaded a british soldier in his country. Its like comparing an Indian in Durban to those in Philadelphia. Who cares where he lives and how Philly is more prosperous than Durban? He's still an Indian in the eyes of the world. Africans with their unnecessary ego that secretly lurks in inferiority complex. Colo-mentality! SMH. Frawzey 2 Likes |

I'm less concerned with what NEF says or does to the government, anybody can file a complaint with the international court. They have raised some points which I will not support until have an evidence to back it up. And why is it now that the wanna file the complaint? Where were they when BH members were killing innocent people? Anyway, my questions are these: 1) why are those PDP senators, caught red-handed with BH members, still free? 2) why hasn't anyone of these BH been tried and sentenced? A serious war against BH should not take anything for granted. It was even an Hausa President, Late Yar'adua, who killed their leader so I cant't understand why GEJ is not brave enough to detain those senators. Yesterday the President also ordered the release of the dreaded group. Honestly, Something fishy is really going on here. All over the media, these senators have been replaced with Buhari. Even here on NL, without proofs, everyone calls Buhari a sponsor. Are they really playing games with Nigerians, knowing that a large number of us vote based on emotions/sympathy ? And all u presidential spokesmen, don't come here to saying that the president knows what he's doing. Same thing u said when he granted Alams pardon. Frawzey |

mr.official: Oh I see. Show me a politician and I will show u a desperate man. OBJ said 3rd term agenda was do-or-die affair. GEJ is kicking Amaechi's butt all because of 2015, spending as much as 2bn on OPC. Ojukwu contested THREE times under APGA to become a president of the country he fought against....until he went to the grave. Buhari is contesting the FOURTH damned time just for the same position. Just show me one politician that's not desperate. Frawzey |
Emotions all over the thread... The House Republicans have been calling for the Impeachment of Obama since the IRS scandal. That's what u expect from opposition parties. Obamacare thats meant to help the poor was also critcised by the Republicans. What about the gun control that republicans opposed till the end? Even where lives are involved. The beauty of democracy comes from harsh criticism and propaganda. Who else do u expect to say such if not Buhari? Quit pouring emotions on here where reason could be used. Bakare has also said it, so? What if Tinubu says it tomorrow? And to those bigoted folks, a southerner is the Chairman of CPC. Quit all these emotional labeling without proofs. Frawzey 2 Likes |
Hectic! Cooling off in other sections. Correction/retracement in Dollar this week making me stay on the sideline. Meanwhile, fib 113% is also recommended on traders Fib tool. Incase anyone is yet to add it, please do. Noticed somany reversals at that point. Frawzey |
Sincere 9gerian: I dont see anything wrong with releasing women and children. In fact, women and children shouldn't have been detained in the first place because many of them dont even know what their husbands are engaged in. Again, this strategy will help the security forces win more souls in the north in the war against terror. The more people we have on the side of sanity and peace, the better. The indisputable fact is that insurgency cannot be defeated with stick alone. We also need carrots and dialogueI dont see anything wrong with releasing women and children. In fact, women and children shouldn't have been detained in the first place The release of detained women and children is part of the carrot. In the end, what we need is PEACE. Only those read the caption will agree with what u wrote here. The sad thing is that u have become a professional in playing mind games on this forum and folks have fallen for it. Let me bust your nine on this one. You wrote "I dont see anything wrong with releasing women and children. In fact, women and children shouldn't have been detained in the first place" as if those to be released are only women and children. Now read the bolded below:
Suspected terrorists was clearly stated here without any gender.
Then the suspects that was said in the earlier statement PLUS all women under custody. We have the suspects and some women under custody. Only an illiterate will agree with your post. Women and children indeed. Your insincerity is very bullish, Mr Sincere 9gerian. Frawzey 8 Likes |
Urgh. It grosses me out when someone who's a member of a team takes all the glory for a job/project well executed. Pride, undeserved glory is rife here. That's why u're more likely to hear "I" instead of "We". Frawzey 1 Like |
Xano: Lol. Our political orientation may not be the same but the bottomline should be about good governance for the betterment of Nigeria. @Frodobee, one more reason to believe in what? If I may ask. Frawzey |
Its not new. Russia also spies on US. I doubt if it would cause any friction in their relationship. Spying is an eternal game. China also needs to be very alert because the West wants her to practice democracy and spies would do the underground work. Atleast, we caught a BH spy yesterday. Naija is on the alert too. ![]() Frawzey 2 Likes |
Not trading today. Still holding my AUDUSD and Gold short. Frawzey |
First off, the SoE is a welcome development. Although some people believe its long overdue but I prefer half a bread than none. Even the US didn't expect a SoE, that's why John Kerry said that the troops should be very careful with human lives...like they really care. Huh? Second, we say our troops are fighting the dreaded Boko Harm, yet their sponsors - those Borno Senators caught red-handed - Senator Zanna and Ali are still walking free around town like a philanthropist. If the IG is soft of them probably because he's also from the north, let the President order the Head of the Military to interrogate them. I can bet that after spending just 4hours in the military custody, they'd confess and name other sponsors of the group. This orange seller might just be a channel and not a backbone sponsor. Once access to money is blocked, gross weakness would affect their logistics. But the president turned a blind eye on those senators because they were not linked to Buhari. Politics! Third, nigerians are just too emotional about national issues. Instead of taking time to think about the presidents declaration, all we see here is "Kill them all", "those northerns should be destroyed", "they should be gunned down" and other unnecessary statements. We need to quit swimming in the pool of emotion. Let's towel-dry our instant approval and reactions, then sit on the couch of logical reasoning. When someone makes a statement about our country, either good or bad, it doesn't hurt if we take sometime to think about what's been said instead of swallowing it all up hook, line and sinker. The declaration of SoE should not be an end but a means. A means to create the platform for a sovereign national conference. While the military has risen up to save the nation by guns, the civilians (u and I) must also use dialogue as a weapon. We must also press it on GEJ that he calls for a national conference to save the nation by dialogue. Let the northern PDPs come and make their grievances known and each tribe's representative should speak the truth about the state of the nation. Possibly all those northern PDP elites who have been silent about BH would talk, forgive and re-structure their party and the zoning controversy that magnified the problem. Fourth, those who supports PDP/GEJ should call for federalism. If truly u want crises to stop, then tell the president that he has the power to change things for good in PDP. If he could use such power to re-structure the party to his taste, biting very hard on Amaechi's butts, then such power should be channelled to add federalism into PDP's ideology. That each state be responsible for its development, revenue and security. Waiting for monthly allocation makes these governors less concerned because whether or not they perform, money comes from Abuja. Buhari's CPC stands on federalism. It would solve these problems because a Lagosian would be less concerned about what happens in Borno and the FG would not be too worried about it. Fifth, the problem of BH was caused by failure of northern military leaders. They spent years in power, yet they didn't ensure that their folks be educated. Unemployment, poverty and illiteracy is very rife in the north. We should learn from this: ethnicity doesn't guarantee competence. Don't choose leaders because they are from ur tribe. Vote for a candidate that has a proven track record. The north is unstable today, who knows what would be of the south tomorrow if we don't have a good leader. Aap! Frawzey 54 Likes |
django1: @ayox2003^^^ Aribisala is arguably one of the most intelligent posters on NL, but he's been AWOL on NL for a while, am happy he made an appearance on this thread! Honestly, his points are flawless. Come-to-think-of-it, if civilisation started in Egypt- which is now africa- before the birth of Christ, then its very senseless to say the "Father of African Literature" died in 2013. Makes african literature assume a toddler stage. Even Igbo literature has been way before the birth of Achebe but the fact that we africans are poor record keepers made our past heroes and giant disappear into oblivion. For a thing, Achebe did excellently well in his chosen field but saying he's the Father of those who passed his culture to him makes it very watery. Plus, because it was written in a whitemans language makes it "un-african". Achebe is definitely the most popular writer but Father? Shove it. Frawzey 1 Like |
aribisala0: So many people have responded without understanding what they have read, what literature is or what Wole is saying This post is the best on here. You are very intelligent. Any de-tribalised nigerian would agree with you. Trust nigerians, ethno-emotional attachment prevails in ALL issues. God bless you for this. I'm saving ur post. Frawzey |
thoth: Lets try to look at this more differently, lets assume that Al Mustapha was betrayed by Abubakar whom sold out to the requests of washington to hand over to a civillian regime with obasanjo as the prospective puppet. Lets assume that Babangida also wants Abacha dead and therefore naturaly joined clique and provided human assets and assistance in there numerous tries to assasinate Abacha. Lets also assume that Babangida's plan of assuming power(whether directly or by proxy) was bungled and shunned by Washington for a more smoother and favorable plan so Babangida did not get what he wants afterall . Lets assume that the clique and not necessary Babangida realized their objectives. Done and dusted. You have nailed it. Frawzey |
Well, Nairobi is cool. Go to the travel section, there is a thread on Nairobi by Gallivant. He should be able to help. Having said that, it would be advisable that u take a visit to Nairobi. Spent coupla days there last year. A dollar equals 82shillings and u could get a very good hotel for as low as 3000shillings (Sagret Hotels and the likes..), approximately $37. Food is also very affordable. Nairobi has a central mall called Nakumatt where u can get all ur groceries, devices blah blah blah. Cool weather as at November. They have the fastest internet speed in Africa. Really cool place. For 7days, $800 would be enough for feeding, hotel bills and the safari if you're a very big spender without a partner. Frawzey |
InvertedHammer: Oh. I no know say GS aide dey NL o. How club tonight na? I'm mobile though...when I get home, I'mma check out the chart. Frawzey |

infofirst: Morgan Stanley called the top in USD/JPY on Monday, recommending a short at 101 with a target of 94.00/92.00. They recommended a stop at 103.00. I also read it two days ago but I don't follow such news because its more of rhetoric. Anyone who sees the chart would know dollar is strong and any 'counter-dollar' signal or analysis is 419. Lol. AUDUSD: Sellstop at 09789; SL:09852 TP :09622; (more) Frawzey |
elewedu: Whenever i see huge momemtum candles am always scared of entering the market. I hope with time I will get used to it It happens to most traders. You are not alone. The thing is, if its a pair u are not used to, don't trade it and its not advisable to jump-in because sentiments can change at any time. Just let the momentum reduce and plan your trade as u normally do. Don't be carried away at all. The market is always there. Have a great day! ![]() Frawzey |
Kcc15, I thought we discussed about Aussie last-week Friday and u did promise to trade its break-out on the weekly chart. Ehn? Why then do u wanna buy aussie? I'm away from my pc now but aussie is very weak. Look am well oh. NB, nice one. Shine on ![]() Frawzey |
Obiagu1: Today Chelsea became the first side in England and the fourth side in Europe after Juventus, Ajax and Bayern Munich to win all UEFA's top competitions.Yes we finally filled the space for the whole of England. Now England can boast that an English club has also won all UEFA competitions (Courtesy Chelsea). ![]() Frawzey |
Afam4eva: Chelsea is a curse to football. They have successfully succeeded in staining the round leather game. I think FIFA has to come hard on teams that play negative football...I want to use this opportunity to congratulate Benfica for a job well done. They outplayed Chelsea today if not for the tragedy that is football. I await the UEFA super cup where chelsea will be gang r.aped by the team from Munich just like how Valencia bullied them in Paris last year. Negative football? C'mon Le Ar'se thats been playing positive football, when last did they win a trophy? Soccer is all about the glory and Chelsea got the glory once again! Blues for life! ![]() Frawzey 3 Likes |
naijababe: Na him pay my salary last week friday too when hope was lost. NB no worry, remember last year July, August and September? As e print QE money, e must repeat am this year. Amen, I claim it Catch ya for evening. ![]() Frawzey |
naijababe: Knives sharpening for gold sell. Where are you ayox, i need to book an appointment with you o Iya elepo robi, how far? We go YIM when I reach my trading office (in your words). Till then enjoy the Gold rush. Frawzey |
OliverPin: yh funny. this is how i view mine but I THINK the usd is too strong not to break this. You're correct. Bro, be firm with ur words. ('I think' is not acceptable). USD is strong! I'm not with my pc at the moment but what I saw this morning points to the trendline. Watch Gold too. As Gold falls, Aussie follows. And the strength of dollar will weaken them all. Let's see how it behaves about that line, a sell stop may not be a bad option. Frawzey |
zinosleek: I just hate the way GU behaves at london open, its just so hard to predict where the surge is going. When i trade gu i feel like i am gambling. Bro, GEJ has declared a state of emergency on GBPUSD. Military has taken over your trade and the kidnapping would stop, hopefully. Enjoy while it lasts. Frawzey |
OliverPin: Funny, right? Lol. Check out the weekly chart on Aussie, u'd see the price is about to hit the trendline as discussed lastweek. Waiting till Friday to see how price reacts at that line. Catch ya later. Frawzey |
Honeric, how have u been. Kinda been a long time. Hope no problem and ur Andrew's alert are much missed. Frawzey |
