Culture / Re: Traditional Rulers Council In Cross River State Warns Igbo Community. by babacletus: 4:24pm On Nov 14, 2018
Housing:

Thank you, the problem is that once allowed. The purported Eze Ndi-igbo we start to wear crown and other traditional regalia. It was the Igbo traditional rulers that wrote other traditional rulers in the country not to allow it. You can imagine an event where an Eze Ndi Igbo have been accorded traditional respect and referred seat before the arrival of the real traditional ruler from Igbo land in occasion outside the state.

In my opinion the problem really is not the title Eze Ndi Igbo but most the behaviour, attitude and claim by the purported Eze. He will want to applied for official motor Number Plate specially reserved for traditional rulers acknowledged and recognised by the government of that state.

A business associates that I usually transact business with was just Chairman of his Village age group association/club. If you see the regalia, pictures and claims that followed his election as Chairman of the association. You will be wondering what going on.

Our brothers from Igbo land should reason this and separate traditional title from association appointment.
thanks for this honest opinion

Please do you have any idea why the cross riverians may be opposed to the title "Eze ndigbo" ?
because cross rivers state is added to title, implying that cross rivers state is the domain of the said traditional ruler(Eze ndigbo)

What about the indigenous igbos people that were carved into crossrivers state during state creation. Doesn’t that mean that they cant have eze in their ancestral land.

These people need to calm down with igbophobia and leave it for losers. Igbophobia has a tendency to blind people because it is driven by blind hate.

Fellow igbos should Join the conversation at www.igbo-unity.com
so by this logic, there can be Attah Igala of Anambra State

Your Majesty , don't worry yourself too much about the title. They said Exe ndigbo of Cross Rivers...not the non Igbos.Besides, the title does not threaten anybody..your interference is productive of idleness... concentrate on freeing your people from the shackles of economic degradation.
is cross rivers state an Igbo domain? how does Emir Hausa of Anambra sound

Lazy Nigerian youth!

The name Akpobome is not a person from Edo state.

The name sounds urhobo from Delta state.

Isoko still bear Akpobome.

He had made Delta state to carry last in this his yahoo plus crime or secret cult crimes.

Killing any human being is the worst crime on earth.

Taking it further to kill a mother that conceive him for 9 months and breast feed him and raping her corpse is a crime taking too far.

Akpobome and his partner in crime should face the mighty wrath of the law.

Most certainly President Muhammadu Buhari was right on his description about Nigerian youth whom he described as lazy.

The youth of now a days do not want to learn trade or business skills that can feed them for life.

They want quick wealth to achieving an end.

They want to HAMMER FAST! FAST! Hammer is a pidgin english term used to describe "the process of getting quick wealth usually using backdoor processes.

I think with a view to stepping down the tides of all this ritual acts in Nigeria and Africa which have increased in number in recent times.

Government in Nigeria should focus all security agencies on all the babalawos and native doctors.

Identity the human ritualist among them and make them face the long arm of the law.

These native doctor, alfas, babalawo, white gament prophet and prophetess etc are the ones selling evil information to their clients that they can turn these boys to become rich over night.

If the police established their dragnent on them and keep a close watch on their activities it will help to reduce the increasing rate of ritual activities.

Government in Nigeria at the federal level, state and local government level should partner with the private sector to develop the dying nigeria economy to create investment friendly jobs to engage the youth.

Religious leaders must show good example by condemning illicit wealth acquisition in the society.

The other murder suspect was 20-year-old Odion Jimoh, who beheaded a man identified as Asuelimhen Atogwe, at Ayogwiri, in Edo north.

abdulkayus:

And who told you Tunde Idiagbon, Olusola and Bukola Saraki are fulani or of fulani heritage. That is a big lie. Not everyone from Ilorin is fulani. Ilorin is a Yoruba town but the ruler is of fulani heritage. And even the so call fulanis in Ilorin in which they are even few has been yorubanised. They speak Yoruba, claimed Yoruba and can't even speak anything in fulani again.
And mind you, Saraki are not even actually from Ilorin, they came from other Yoruba Town. Bukola Saraki just make that comment that time for political reasons.
Is that so, so if he says he's yoruba it will now be for tribal reasons, even his surname is for political reasons, the fact that the yorubas in illorin have been subdued by an emir means they are fulanised

These are the super elites of the north.
You may be right, this seems like the most logical explanation that the only fresh looking Fulani are the elites and they don't appear in public cheesy

You wouldn't pick a syringe and inject AIDS into your body, so why would you bring in these people into your country and give them rights?! undecided

Every islamic refugee should go to countris that already match their lifestyle e.g Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc.
The annoying part is when you see these same folks in a foreign country claiming discrimination

Wow! Indeed! There's modesty in dressing. With dressings like this, obscene mind freaks and thinking will greatly be reduced and rape cases will drastically be reduced also. Hijab is a pride, hijab is a privilege.
To the Muslim woman, the hijab provides a sense of empowerment. It is a personal decision to dress modestly according to the command of a genderless Creator; to assert pride in self, and embrace one's faith openly, with independence and courageous conviction.
Will it also reduce child marriages?
