The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, has confirmed that Registrations for the 2019 JAMB UTME will begin by the end of October.

According to Prof Oloyede, JAMB is currently fine-tuning the registration process for the exams, based on experiences from the previously conducted exam. It was noticed that a good number of less qualified candidates applied for the exam last year, thereby causing unnecessary baggage for the board.

Prof. Oloyede had earlier stated that the cost of the JAMB Registration Forms will be left for FG to ultimately decide. He then added that; “We are not interested in the money. We are interested in having adequate preparation for those who are genuine students”.

The NECO June/July examination is the examination taken by candidates in their last stage of Secondary School Education.

Gov. Ben Ayade of Cross River has increased the monthly allowance of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members serving in the state from N3,100 to N5,000.

Ayade made the announcement on Monday at the closing ceremony for the 2018 ‘Batch B’ Orientation Course at the NYSC Orientation Camp in Obubra Local Government Area of the state.

The governor, represented by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Mr Asu Okang, said that the upward review became necessary following the high cost of goods and services in the country.
According to him, the increase will spur corps members in the state to give in their best in service and community development.

“Dear corps members, I must salute you for the successful completion of your three weeks orientation programme which I believe was interesting.
“I am happy to announce to all of you that we have increased your monthly allowance from N3,100 to N5,000 starting from your batch,’’ he said.

Requirements:

Candidates applying for an internship programme with GTBank MUST meet these criteria detailed below:

Have completed WAEC/NECO with at least 5 credits including Mathematics and English
Have a minimum of 2.5 CGPA
Have 1 Guarantor (working with GTBank) or 2 Guarantors (working in other organizations as listed in the application form)*
Must not be no more than twenty-six (26) years of age
Other Requirements:

1 Passport Photograph
Birth Certificate
Valid Means of Identification (Int’l Passport, Voter’s Card, Drivers Licence, NIMC Silp/Card)
School ID Card
Statement of Results
IT Letter
Completed Guarantor Form(s)
Guarantor Details

Your guarantor must be a full/core staff of the organization s/he works for.
You are expected to provide a clear copy of your guarantor’s ID card (Front and Back).
