Please I want to ask a question on postpartum, being a FTM we noticed that the parts where she had the C-section looks relatively hard when you pull the chunk of flesh and she doesn't feel like the flesh area is part of her body.

She has showed the doctor and she was given a drug. But we seems worried if this is normal for those who had experienced the CS.

Nawa oo. That is why all pregnant women should be very prayerful, i thought I was the only one that had a very tough delivery to the extent that my placenta was already cutting into pieces just because of carelessness of the nurses and their matron. I was in labor for four days without any progress but they kept on saying we should wait it will progress. It is God almighty that saved I and my baby on the fifth day because I was already infected from too much V. E before being referred.

It is a lesson for us and others too. May we not labor in vain and may God deliver the rest safely.

That VE wasn't easy on me,eight different persons did VE on me,some did twice,some thrice.I died and resurrected again.All thanks to God for making me a living testimony.

I was hoping to port to May when I started seeing discharge at 37 weeks,it continued and stopped at 39 weeks with on and off contractions. I went to the hospital and was checked but was told my cervix was closed.The pain continued till 40 weeks,my doctor said if by 41 weeks I didn't fall into serious labour that he will induce me.I was hoping for a serious contraction but it was the same on and off,I rushed to the hospital one morning when the pain was severe only for the nurse to check and said I'm 2cm gone that I should go and come back, I got home and the contractions stopped again.At 41 weeks,my hubby followed me to see the doctor, the doctor said I should book for CS but if i wish to,I can try that he will induce,I left his office dejected,I was admitted the next day,he did cervical ripening for me and blood started gushing out,I was told to endure and let the balloon fall off,when the balloon fell off,I was already at 6cm.I was placed on drip and induction started,a nurse forcefully burst the water bag claiming that the baby will come fast,but for good 24 hours,I was in 6cm and groaning in pains,baby too struggling to come outside, different nurses and doctors kept on coming to check if I've exceeded 6cm,my private part became swollen cox of too much fingers and instruments entering it,when the induction was 38 hours,I started feeling dizzy,like my soul will soon depart,my baby heartbeat was beating fast,I started shouting that I will soon faint,they started running around, was placed on oxygen for six hours,I told the doctor i don't want to try again,that I will do CS. I was given a form to sign and was prepared for theatre.I was already weak cox immediately the nurse bursted the water bag the previous day,water and blood kept on gushing out of my private part.They had to fixed two drips for me inside the theatre so they can get a visible vein for injection. Within twenty minutes, I was cut and my sonshine was brought out,I was shown my baby and my joy knew no bound.I thank God for his faithfulness over my life and family,the Lord that didn't allow my nine months journey to end in vain.Tho I'm still nursing the pains till date,I appreciate God cox I know with time,I will recuperate. I appreciate my June Cappo and team members, you're all wonderful. Safe delivery to the remaining pregnant mums.

Immediately after my wedding last year,I started trying to have a baby cox like two weeks after the wedding, one of my in_laws has started asking me how far.I started buying pt strips but each time I test,it always came out negative and I would be dejected,it got to a stage that DH said I shouldn't buy PT strips again,that am I God?That was how I stopped testing and focused on my ovulation calculation, a doctor friend helped monitored it too,but all throughout the five fertile days,hubby and I met on the first and last days cox Oga was complaining of tiredness, my doctor friend wasn't happy we didn't follow up the fertile days well and advised we try again next month.Towards the end of September, I started feeling feverish coupled with a serious waist pain.I endured it but went to the hospital when it was becoming unbearable, I was sent for tests and scan and was told it was infection, I was given antibiotics for hubby and I plus malaria drugs,I started taking the drugs,but on the fourth day I had a dream and was carrying a baby in the dream.I got a pt strip and ran a test,lo and behold it came out positive, I started crying and praising God, I called my husband but he said it can't be pregnancy that he will confirm from his friend that is doctor, the doctor asked me to discontinue the drugs immediately and come to his hospital for proper check up, I was sent for scan and was confirmed eight weeks pregnant.That was how the journey started,first trimester was smooth except for constant abdominal cramps,I was placed on duphaston.
Second trimester was hell for me,I was seriously sick and placed on bed rest,hubby automatically became my errand boy, he cooks,wash,do the dishes,empty the trash can,mop the floor infact do all the house chores.I pitied him but I can't really do much.It continued that way till third trimester, at seven month my tummy was overbig already and people keep asking when will I put to bed,I found the question so disgusting.

Well. I don't really think it's done to force labour. When I had my first child, at my 40th week appointment, there was still no sign of labour, so the doctor performed this cervix check (don't really know what it is called again). And he said my cervix was totally closed, that there's no sign of labour at all. Though I heard that the procedure can bring on labour, but mine wasn't like that, I was almost 42 weeks gone before I started having irregular contractions, then I went to the hospital.

Which one is cervical ripening. Is it the one when you have passed your due date and doctor check your cervix to see if your cervix has started dilating?

I guess so,seems it's done to force the cervix to open.

Good afternoon everyone. Please oh, I went for scan today and my due date didn't tally again oh. The new scan added 10 days to my due date. Abeg any other June mama's in this position?

I learnt scans won't be accurate after 37,38 weeks, just stick to the EDD you were given at the first scan you did at the early stage of the pregnancy.

This was what popped out after a severe cramp today even when I was given progesterone injection yesterday.,I'm on my way to get a scan done now.
