Politics / Re: Before You Say You Want Atiku Abubakar To Be Your President Read This. by Boomark(m): 2:18pm On Oct 18, 2018 |
Many people that prayed for Buhari's quick recovery were murdered, dead and gone. And he didn't do anything about it. More are being killed, more will be killed maybe as a punishment for not making use of their senses when they had the opportunity. The same goes to those campaigning for him now, when the time comes for you to donate your land or your life you must donate one or both. I never prayed such prayer because I already knew what it will result to in the end. 1 Like |

gidgiddy: Eziokwu adighi na ihe ikwuru. We should do things with sense. I told my Ipob friends that if you don't want Obiano, vote him out. Boycotting the election will give him the victory he is looking for and it happened. It is better to vote out the worst while you still purse what you are pursuing than to plan in a very bad condition. What is the point Not voting? You will only help Buhari indirectly to return to power and you can't do anything about it except lamentation. 4 Likes |

Please sir is there any plan for youth entrepreneurs? Youwinconnect has refused to fund us after subjecting us to training that made us waste both money and time. The thought of how we were decieved that we will be funded is very disheartening. We are just here like this without any hope. |

All my efforts will not be in vain. They better look for money to fund our businesses. We cannot accept this deciet. |

Business / Youwin Vs Youwinconnect: Why Agricultural Sector Is Developing by Boomark(m): 4:51pm On May 17, 2018 |
Many people don't know that agricultural development does not take place in a twinkle of an eye. It takes time, processes, and encouragement of people to get involved. In 2011, Youwin was established to assist and encourage Nigerian youth who want to go into business. Agriculture was the main focus and a lot of rice farmers/millers, poultry farmers, cassaver farmers, pig farmers, goat farmers, tree, food, and cash crop farmers, agro processing companies, etc, started their businesses with funds they got from Youwin. They were given fuii grants upto N10million to start their businesses and for more than 3 years they were funded and supported to develop the agric sector. It was a big relief for the Nigerian youth who have nursed the ambition of starting their own businesses. Food stuff were becoming cheaper because we had them in abundance. Waste were also reduced drastically because the processing companies are there. Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Program, TEEP, established in 2010 was equally giving grants to Nigerian youth to start their businesses. They focused mainly on agriculture too and that sector was gradually booming. In 2016 BOI/Yes-p was established to assist unemployed youth with loan to start their businesses. We did a powerful online training for 3 months and our moral was very high to take over from Dangote as soon as we get the money. For reasons best known to them, BOI decided to demoralize and frustrated most us out of the program because we could not provide two guarantors who have netwoth of upto N10million each. Even those who manage to get guarantors are still being frustrated till today. Those of them that rented land, equipment, and shops did not use them for anything until they expired. Their delay tactics is shocking. They don't know that time is money. The frustration made me think of looking for a job and never think of anything youth entrepreneurship program again. The program failed to progress when people became aware they are not serious. Those who think CBN or BOI loan has helped in developing agricultural sector should have a rethink. You can't get their money. Those who managed to get it are very few. If you doubt me go and try your luck. Youwinconnect came and I was happy. I was happy because I know what Youwin does for Nigeria youth and I wasn't expecting anything less. We did online training and winners were selected. We also did face to face master class training and that was when our heart started melting. They did not clearly tell us on how much we are going to be funded. The N2.5billion equity fund they say is available will go the 5000 winners N500,000 each to start their businesses. We want to open industries not shops. I believe this will not be the case. Since 2015 till date, apart from TEEP, there is no successful entrepreneurship program for the youth and Youwinconnect is the last hope. I just hope the President, Vice president, and the minister of finance will do something for Youwinconnect winners. Something better than what Youwin did for the youth. Youwinconnect will drive agriculture and other sectors of the economy to the next level if we get funding. |
Religion / Re: Is It Compulsory To Go To Church Before Prayers Answered? by Boomark(m): 11:55am On Apr 15, 2018 |
NO! After reading through to this point, non of the persons above me quoted Jn 4:20-24. Worship(Prayer) in spirit and in truth can be done anywhere. John 4:20-24 20 Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship.” 21 Jesus said to her,“Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem(Temple or Church), worship the Father. 22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” This is direct from Christ Jesus. 3 Likes |
