@Oboma,

Please no vex. Sympathy for what? you guys speak as if the money he used to buy the car was honestly earned. We are citizens of Delta state should be carrying that yet again our money has gone up in smoke.

No Sympathy for someone who stole my money and then wants me to cry for him, because the car he bought with my money has been destroyed in a fire.

This is were we fail ourselves as a people

@moneyleyleg,
if u are from delta as u claim, who was the gov before ibori and who is after him?before the criminal(ibori) came to office and since he (ibori) left office, what did and have the other govs done for u?
in the other states, who among the govs is a not a criminal.
Politics / Re: Nigeria Is A Disgrace! by chidichris(m): 2:40pm On May 24, 2010
What have you done to make it better? Your mantra "Nigeria Is A Disgrace" has been played more than a million times played by those who could actually change things but prefer to run to the white man's world and find the slightest opportunity to whine on how bad Nigeria turn out to be. What is Nigeria first and foremost? Me and you so when you say Nigeria is a disgrace you are directly calling yourself a disgrace . . I do not have any problem with you calling yourself a disgrace, why are you not doing anything about it? you seat and complain waiting for who to fix it . . Don't nag about the government because we socially constructed it and we can change it if we have the guts. . So the main problem is me and you for been cowards. .

Most of us like to travel and have " I LIVE ABROAD" painted all over us (house Negros) then we even have the guts to complain . .

@yeswecan,
science scolars believe that the first step to solving a problem is identifying the problem.
you don't need to be too emotional about thsi issue as it is a bitter truth.
before we can act, it is very important that we have agreement and a unity of purpose.
we must accept the fact; NIGERIA IS A DISGRACE.
once we accept that, we will then need ur type to tell us what next.
if u have not been opportuned to exist in anyother country of this world, i reall pity u because u will not know what it means to be a citizen of a country.
nigerians are just existing by names. we are nobody. we have no identities. we have no rights in our own country talkless of previledges. we are doomed.
what do u want a helpless poor man to do against a well equiped soldier who is well fed as well?
do u know the story of saro wiwa? do u know about the community call odi in bayelsa state. were u informed about obj's action in another community is benue?
these are some of the ppl who felt like u and whose ambitions were to put things in practice. today, they are no where in the history of nigeria.
my advise is that we continue speaking behind these unknown ids for God is hearing us and he is our redeemer. when the appointed time comes, the untouchables will be made touchables and their cases will be like that of abacha and the biblical nebukadinezar.

to me, the only major difference between mustapha and ribadu is that one was a militaryman while the later was a police officer.
both men have their major similarity in the area of total loyality to their bosses irrespective of what the law says.
yes to both men, the only law and authority they respect were their bosses.
i will be happy if someone here will quote me wrong with facts and figures.

"In 1999, Nigeria was not looking for a president that will build roads, fix power or provide water; Nigeria was looking for a president that will hold Nigerians together." - Olusegun Obasanjo

@ibime,
if that was what nigeria was looking for in 1999, did we get that till date? how together is nigeria looking at the niger delta militants, jos and kaduna riots, politicals killings in between the time? the wiping out of two communities by the govt of togetherness?
if the 1999 togetherness was achieved, what was nigeria looking for in 2003? assuming u have the answer, tell us also the mission of third term?
in the best administration in the history lof man, for the first time in the history of nigeria, political thugs became legally inshrined in our system as we saw in the federal govt backed actions of chris uba of anambra state and late adedibu of oyo state.
today many are still remembering the $12B oil windfall of babangida while $16b electricity project funds have been swept under the carpet.
the sins of the abachas are still fresh while all road reconstruction contracts, harlibuton scandals, federal govt's official lootings via our banks have been a thing of the past. yes we are progressing.
this best president with all the available resources could not give nigeria light so it has become an impossibility to have light because the best man cld not provide light so no one else.
if anyone sees obj as the best president of nigeria, that one is doomed and is never and will never see better things in his life. half of nigerian youths are slaves to countries far below nigeria and some other ones are serving jail terms in crime raleted offenses. very soon, we will been on ques to obtain ghana visa.
in a country rated sixth highest oil producing country in the world, a man was made president/petrolium minister for 8 uninterupted years and we are still in darkness, a high class slowpoke stood up to advertise the best president. may God punish ur mouth and may all the sufferings of the innocent and poor masses of this godforsaken country be ur portion in ur endeavour to project the best president.
Politics / Re: Obj Is Bad Yes, But He's Still Nigeria's Best Ever President. No Contest by chidichris(m): 7:43am On May 24, 2010
this arguement is an old one here. the joy of winning an arguement is key to the re-incarnation of this same arguement.
the last time i saw this arguement, i said it is a big lie but no matter what points u give here, nigerians and nairalanders believe obj is the best nigerian.
well, i don't want to repeat myself pointing to selections(election) under obj, political thugry, the killing of two communities, the assasination of bola ige, the power contracts, the roads reconstruction contracts, the security,abuse of office, the third term agenda, the radical lootings, the imposition of candidate, the moral decandence etc but a speaker once said; EVERY SUCCESS WITHOUT A SUCCESSOR IS A FAILURE.
under bush, america had too many enemies and bush was highly regarded as a bad president but history was quick to cover all that with a single reason that bush gave birth to an oposition president that hsitorically is the first black (african) american president which in totality was a product of free and fair elections but what do we have as the end product of the best president in the history of nigeria?
on the other hand, assuming the poster and his group wins this arguement as usual, obasanjo must have tried more than anyother president according to them, is it not right for him to give chance to someone else to come and try?
why is he still hanging around, indirectly controlling the affiars of this country from a hiden cave?
why is he not letting go?
why making himself the only qualified candidate for the post of chairman pdp board of trustees?
nigerians must think fast.
the mysterious emergence of goodluck jonathan has given birth to the home coming of all run-away obj boys like el -rufai and ribadu. what is really happening.
CHANGE THEY SAY IS THE ONLY CONSTANT THING IN LIFE SO WHY IS OBJ MAKING HIMSELF THE ONLY CONSTANT PERSON AND THING IN NIGERIA?
Politics / Re: Repentant Kidnappers Apologise To Abians by chidichris(m): 4:09pm On May 23, 2010
an agrieved person has the right to act in his own way and if the govt has wake up from her slumber, it is a welcome development as long as all parties will keep to their promises.
the most important thing here will be peace returning to the ppl who deserve it.
Politics / Re: Nigerian President Demands Trophy From The Eagles by chidichris(m): 4:03pm On May 23, 2010
one of those dreams.
apart from goodluck and jonathan, no other nigerian is expecting that cup here.
the only and most expected and important cup here in nigeria is electricity and the only player to bring it home at the moment is goodluck jonathan and the game will be between him and all the evil men in pdp.
if jonathan fails to deliever this cup(electricity) no other cup can serve as a good replacement.

With no apologies, if Jonathan continues this way, he may become the worst President we might have ever had.
When you start going against basic principles of an institution, then, when it back fires, we know who to hold.

@selingel,
for me, i don't believe in jonathan and i will not believe in goodluck.
the first and the worst step he ever takes is reversing the works of yar adua meaning there has been long over due grieviances. i suspect conspiracy here.
if a vp is loyal to the president, the death of the president will never mean new govt and new projects.
since when has writen or open appologies become a way of settling indescipline and corruption charges.
what happens if ibori writes an appology to the people of delta state and nigerians as a whole?
we are partial in this war on corruption.
obj has destroyed all institutions in the country including the constitution of federal republic of nigeria and the only thing at work today is the ottah directives hence the fear of obasanjo has become the begining of wisdom.
jonathan has submitted himself to destruction and so shall it be unless he withdraw himself from his ottah commitments. jonathan must look at the bode georges and the ogbulafors who once believed that obj is the king of kings.
Politics / Re: Don't Honour Invitations, Muslim Group Tells Yarima by chidichris(m): 3:22pm On May 23, 2010
@suleiman16

ok what yerima did as a moslim is legal and in accordance with the islamic law abi? what he also did is against the federal law to which he is a senetor which also means he is a partaker of the federal law which is against child abuse. Because the federal law is against him he ran to the other law to save his a$$. If he wants to marry 100 13yr olds as wives he shouldn't be on that seat as senetor of the federal republic of Nigeria.

Nigeria is not owned by just moslems so what ever a moslem or christain chooses to do it must not interfere with the laws of the country.when it does and the country's law is against it the person involved has to pay the price. What is even annoying is the fact that these moslems don't see anything wrong in what yerima has done, forget religion this act is morally wrong and unfair to the female child.

@stephnina0,
what about the act of chasing out a seating gov in anambra by chris uba just because he was connected to obasanjo? was that constitutional and what happened to him? nothing rather he was promoted to the post of chairman pdp board of trustees.
what about the late adedibu and his war against the then oyo state gov? obj as a president went to oy to tell oyo ppl to manage and tolerate adedibu as he was to old to be reformed? maybe that was constitutional?
obj sleeping with his daughter inlaw was not a good christain life and had was moral disgrace for a man on whom over 150 million ppl looked unto as a role model. yet we all call that private life. what is private about the number one ctizen of a nation? on this forum, a photograph of obj sleeping in a gathering was posted but it is hsameful that out of pressure the moderators have deleted that post, why? we are just partial and unrealistic about our cases.
if nigeria has a constitution that is against a situation, let it be for all and not just for a group.
u and i can mention names of untouchables here in nigeria and these are above the laws yet someone is telling me about war on corruption.
there can never be any jsutified war on corruption when we are selective.
the pdp cabals have turned nigeria into a do as u like state and so shall it be afterall, the so-called sharia law has been there all the while we have democracy since 1999.

Why are the British authorities wasting so much time on this matter,they should just go ahead and extradite Thief Onanethief Ibori to the UK and give him a speedy trial so he can be jailed(he and his wife,sister,LovePeddler and in-laws that were implicated),and ALL assets he acquired with the stolen money sold off and the funds returned to the coffers of the FGN(for safe-keeping for DTSG)tll after Uduaghan is disgraced out of government house Asab
@rasputinn,
do not be decieved, no matter how a cow suffer purge, it can never come down to the size of a goat. ibori can never be poor and be reminded that is not even the intention of the FG. all they want is to take away power from him. alams is still a very rich and influential man. his boy is the president of nigeria and do u think he is not well placed?
talking about recovered loots, where are the recovered loots of abacha? how have ur life been changed with that and how does this recovered loots touch the lives of common men?
ibb is not running and he is not been questioned by anyone. obj is still in charge and no questions? bode george is serving two years for stealing over N100b and u are rejoicing.
give me N100b and send me to life inprisonment as long as it is nigeria.
Politics / Re: Ribadu Apologises To Police Over Sack, Rank, •psc Faults Apology Letter - Latest by chidichris(m): 7:54am On May 23, 2010
You can blame Nuhu Ribadu all you want BUT if the bellicose General Obasanjo tells him to do something, what options has he got? This is does not personally exonerate him but if the EFCC was totally independent and the chairman was appointed by the National Assembly, this problem will more likely be avoidable.

To Alams, yes. . .Obasanjo did to you what he did to a lot of other people including the masses of Nigeria BUT DID YOU STEAL/LOOT/MISMANAGE any money meant for the people you were supposed to lead? Just YES or NO, please!

@cyberg,
by ur logic above, do u think mustapha deserves what he gets for working under abacha?
power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely and that was the case of ribadu who forgot that he was supposed to be a product of an institution.
the powers obj instilled into ribadu made him felt bigger than the police.
even with the appology, we all know that the will of jonathan via obj is at work and not the police normal routine.
the indiscipline and corruption we see in our nigerian police is a product of our political system that is hell bent to destroy even destroyables in their inordinate ambition to be rulers.

When someone begins a point with this, it is suggestive enough that they have no conviction in their own arguments and need to set the defensive line first.

We say the same line with the fooool on the IBB Achievement thread trying to promote IBB when logic was used to floor him.

What ever happened to stating what you believe and the logic will show your opinion is superior.

Enlightened me arse.

@sagamite,
u always want to be everywhere but u have nothing to offer.
in a very simple sentence, WHY IS ATIKU NOT IN JAIL OR WHY DID HE NOT GO TO JAIL WHEN RIBADU AND OBJ FOUND HIM GUILTY IN 2007?
u must be informed on the topic u discuss. stop fooling urself. if u are informed and u are dedicated to defending the group u call holy then justify their action over atiku who is now part of them.
Politics / Re: Don't Honour Invitations, Muslim Group Tells Yarima by chidichris(m): 2:16pm On May 22, 2010
@chidichris,your reasoning vis a vis OBJ & Yerima is slightly skewed,

1. OBJ is alledged to have slept with his daughter-in-law. . . .nothing so far proved,the woman denied it (so right now its purely innuendo).- Yerima on the other hand confirms he married this Egyptian girl

2. Lets assume OBJ did indeed sleep with his daughter-in-law
        a. There's nothing in the constitution that forbids this - Nigerian law in Abuja forbids marriage to under-18 girls.
        b. OBJ has not come out to say his religion permits him to sleep his his daughter-in-law - Yerima claims his religion gives him all the right to     marry this lady.

Finally lets stop all the false rationalising,because he (Yerima) comes publicly rather than 'pretend' like other senators (according to you) does not make it right .

By the way who told you Yerima doesn't have other concubines??

Are you aware he divorced his recently married teenage wife as well? This excludes his existing 3 other wives.

The question I ask is ,is  his entire life meant to be spent marrying?? When will he try to make a difference in the lives of his people?

Learn to call a spade a spade my friend.

@illusion2,
if u are not a lawyer then u are in the wrong profession.
this exactly what nigeria and nigerians are made of, bending the laws to suit their purposes.
i have asked here before, how many constitutions are in use in nigeria?
ur obj was the president of nigeria when nysc members are been flogged in parts of this same country for drinking alcohol and people are been treated in line with the sharia laws in different parts of nigeria. if those things have been there and the fg accepts that, yarima as well shld be left alone as he simply practiced the sme sharia.
going by ur logic, is the girl in question complaining? is yarima the first person to marry a minor?  the issue of calling a spade one, i shld be telling u that. the problem of our leaders is not religion but morality which they lack to the last letter.
abuse of power in the name of the game. our politicains have made it a culture to influence, intimidate and decieve our women both married and unmarried with their stolen public funds.
now that u are saying what our constitution says, what did our constitution say about sex for money? our senators and rulers are the major sponsors of this sex for money business in nigeria and the late abacha was a dead witness while all the abuje politicians are life members.
assuming we all accept that yarima is guilty as claimed,  what do u think they will do to him? the answer is nothing.
by the way, i support the idea of yarima not honouring the invitation as those who are inviting him are not serious ppl.
Politics / Re: Don't Honour Invitations, Muslim Group Tells Yarima by chidichris(m): 9:00am On May 22, 2010
Dude, you're not far from the truth. Evil occurs on both sides

The only difference is this: You'll find most muslims saying it's not wrong to marry an underraged girl while almost all christians frown at it

So, basically it's a thing of religion, simple

@faher,
under normal circustances, we have a constitution that is supposed to be supperior to everyone but is it? the answer is no. in this forum, when the issue of obj sleeping with his daughter inlaw came up, some were quick to say is a family issue and those ones are here now to call for yarima's head.
as nigerians, we are partial in our judgements and we are not making any progress in our claimed war on corruption because we are selective.
if christains did not support obj, what punishments did the church did to obj for what he did? if the constitution is against that, what were the judicary actions against him?
we must learn to treat all evil with the same manner. as long as aso rock is bent on bad examples, there is no magic the followers can do about it.
we are following the footsteps of those who are in charge.
leadership is not a different word from lead which means - to dictate or guide and followership means nothing but to follow and with that u can only take after or come behind to be a good follower.
if obj as a leader sleeps with everything on skirt, we must do same to be good followers as is expected of us and that is what yarima is working towards so i suggest we look up to someother topics but if we consider now the right time to iron out things, let us go back to the origin of these shits and start from there.
Politics / Re: Jonathan Plans Floating Cities In Niger Delta by chidichris(m): 8:47am On May 22, 2010

look at nairalanders celebrating empty promises.
last time it was soludo promising to make anambra dubai and japan overnight and u see nairalanders celebrating. i saw nairalanders celebrating obj's promise to fix electricity within six months and we all jumped up in celebrations.
yar adua came with 7 points agenda and vission 2020 that will make america look at us with envy and as usual we were jumping in celebration of our dreams. jonathan is on it again, electricity and floating cities. my only question is; WHEN?
will this be the backborne of his campeign come 2011?
anyways, let me leave u all in ur celebration of dreams but before that, i will make available a made in nigeria aircraft.
pls nairalanders celebrate this promise as usual.
Politics / Re: Don't Honour Invitations, Muslim Group Tells Yarima by chidichris(m): 8:18am On May 22, 2010
our problem is not islam but our kind of justice(selective justice). the yarima in question is just one out of over 50 million yarimas in nigeria and in our senate and aso rock.
non of the senators has the moral standard to judge this particular yarima.
visit all the hotels in abuja and u will see that almost all the senators and politicians have girls kept in those hotels.
the problem with this yarima is that he made his legal. what about those who are buying houses and lands, giving our govt cars and properties to their female friends?
obj slept with his daughter inlaw and no one shout because he is a christain. is it biblical for fathers to sleep with their daughter inlaws or is it in our constitution for fathers to sleep with their daughter inlaw? tell me now, how can obj look yarima in the face and tell him, man u fcked up?
we have more than 1 million constitutions in nigeria and cases are treated according to who u are. if obj had been treated like the dog he presented himself to be then, today the yarimas of our time will defintely have no reason not to go down.
nigerians must stop favourism and godfatherism if we must move forward.
let us leave yarima the way we left obj as both men are nigerians and shld have equal right and justice.
many nigerians are dying in jail today just because they looked at women or accused wrongly but here we have an obj and a yarima who openly misbehaved and they are rulers. shame to this thing we call our country.
all i am saying here is that it is not only about the muslims but also the christians.
if u must commit a crime in nigeria and go free, let it not be a crime against the pdp cabals as for the constitution, we have non.

another dumb and silly thread by another weak mind.
okigbo panel of which year and becoming operational in which year?
the noise is about the 2011 elections after which ibb will become innocent again.
why is it that all these men become guilty whenever the elections are around only to become innocent as soon as the election are over?
is it not silly discussing these kind of nonsense topics here?
how far has obj and his group gone in this their much talked about war on corruption?
ibb ruled nigeria before abacha so how come abacha's corruption issue was the first and the only one to be tackled till date?
why is it that this war or fight against corruption is more effective on the media houses rather than the real life?
everyday, fg wants to arrest orji uzor kalu, tomorrow, fg is planing to arrest atiku, and the other day is fg is thinking about arresting ibb?
is it normal to go public if u don't want the criminals to run?
we are doomed with these idiots at the head of our govt
Politics / Re: Fed. Govt. Vows To Prosecute Ibb by chidichris(m): 12:22pm On May 21, 2010
How do we define a great politician? Are Nigerian 'politicians' really politicians? Do they have ideologies? Tell me, is IBB to the left, centre or right? The people you refer to as politicians are rogues, looters, murderers, ritual killers, drug dealers, etc. I am sorry but Pat Utomi is more credible than the bunch of them. I am not advocating Utomi is the best candidate, I only used him as an example because he contested against an incompetent bunch.

@Katsumoto,
just forget that mikeansy as he absultely has nothing to offer. he is always wanting to be all over the thread with no points to make.
those he call politicians are shoe lickers and men who cannot stand on their own.
who among his politicians can do without obj's selection and imposition.
pat utomi is a good example of nigerian great politicians.
he has individual abilities and credibilities.
our president(with due respect, has never won any individual election in nigeria and has done nothing tangible to stand on his feet in the political who is who in nigeria.
on the other hand, he is one of those politicians that depend their political life on a life support programme.

Seriously. Do you?

How is that a legal matter? Are you suggesting charges should be raised for that?

Or why are you asking me another moooooooooooooooooooooronic question?

@sagamite,
i don't blame u and most uninformed ppl on this thread because no one sees beyond his horizons.
palin, the vp candidate in the american presidential elections had problems because of the life style of her daughter who was old enough to bear her cross.
charity begins at home and leaders are supposed to be men with unquestionable characters and those who live above boards. i may be sounding greeks to u because u are uninformed to this level.
a rapist as the president of nigeria. a drug addict as the president of nigeria, a killer as the president of nigeria. oh, do u know what is called moral justifications? i know u don't.
u must have a sound moral life to be a leader and that is the only way a leader will be able to differentiate the bad from the good.
those who live in glass houses do not throw stone.
look at nigeria, men of with little or no moral values in charge of others, what do u expect? exactly what we have today. everybody is thriving in criminalities.
indirectly, crime of different forms and classes have become a way of life.
look at our law makers getting married to a child of 13 yrs, i know to u that is not a crime not minding the meaning of child abuse. at the end of the day, what is the value of this country and her occupants.
a whole ship got lost without trace in nigeria and u are hear preaching shits. an attorney general assasinted without trace and u fight corruption.
we are total jokes and habitual criminals hence what ibori did is typical nigerian and that is just it.
Politics / Re: Jonathan Plans Floating Cities In Niger Delta by chidichris(m): 11:54am On May 21, 2010
Jonathan Goodluck will be a BIG BIG failure and disappointment to Nigeria and Nigerians the way he is going! But, I seriously hope and wish he disappoints me by being a success instead!! Why??

Yes, it is good to conceive ambitious projects but how, when and what resources will he use to prosecute these project? Who really will undertake the project? The already over-leveraged Federal government, the overly-corrupt State government or the private sector? Look, what you (Jonathan) should be doing now and should have done is VERY simple:

1. Immediately send to the National Assembly the full, un-compromised Uwais Panel report. If this is already sent, lobby and apply necessary pressure to have it passed immediately.

2. (1) above will help to set in motion the appointment of a creditable INEC chairman.

3. The EFCC needs to be made very strong and totally independent of any other person or body. Do this and re-invigorate the body to wage a strong anti-corruption campaign.

4. Fix or attempt to begin quickly the power sector

5. Sack and appoint credible people as the comptroller of customs, UBEC, NCC, institute stronger banking regulations, etc; and totally monitor all the contracts that have already been awarded.

These will have a more serious and positive effect without spending BIG in the next one year before the next elections. Which of these is not important?

@cybergy,
i also want to be disappointed with what i say and think when i have in many different threads said it that jonathan has nothing to offer.
this is same pdp, same govt, same manifestoe and same promises a couple of years back 2007 to be precise.
if jonathan and yar adua made promises to nigerians in 2007 and started working on those promises until the death of yar adua, since it is the same govt, why changing things? why new promises when old ones have not been fulfilled.
have u(jonathan) been having problems with yar adua while he was alive or have u been loyal?
the major problem of this pdp is lack of vission and lack of respect for institutions.
i am bored with these criminal promises.
this same pdp, 1 million promises and nothing to show for it.
soon, jonathan will complete a 4 wasted yr term and we wait for the next set of promises.
nigerians shld come together in one voice and tell God to kill all those standing and seating on our progress as a ppl.
the death of top pdp members will surely makme way for development to come into this country.

Old age in Nigeria means nothing anymore. When you expect an old man of 52 year to advice the youth to quit from such evil as these, but they become an accomplice to evil. Na so God go catch all of them.

@princekevo,
the last time i checked, another old man and a chief in the name of bode george was expecting more white hairs in the jail as they are bent on sanitizing the jail.
even from his jail room, bode george was m,aking a claim over a deformation of character by a media house. i no fit shout. a man in jail shamelessly making a claim over his diginity and fortunately and unfortunately, the court told him he has non.
the older they become, the more criminal minds they have.

this same man will address the press any moment and the police will say it is a mis-presentation of person as long as he is ready to play ball.
who among us here is not aware that boarding a loaded man at mm has a price. who among our senators is not involved in one dirty deal or the other?
did u not hear a senator say something like that before?
we have criminals at high places in nigeria espoecially abuja hence this idea of getting there becomes an illussion.
abuja and aso rock is very deep in crimes and corruptions of all sorts and fellowers in such situations will not have a choice than to jump into the lake of crimes and swim along in the popular ocean of crimes and corruption.
Politics / Re: Fed. Govt. Vows To Prosecute Ibb by chidichris(m): 9:51am On May 21, 2010
I think this strategy is getting tired.

I am not a fan of IBB but anybody who thinks they would make a better President than IBB should be courageous enough to come forward and make a superior argument but allow the Nigerian people to choose their future.

I am of the view that in a free and fair elections, where enough time is devoted to credible and sane political debate about the future of Nigeria. IBB will come short. But what I don't agree with is potential candidates or interested parties scaring others from taking part in the elections just to narrow the field for themselves. Thats pure political cowardice.

It is up to the media to vet IBB's records towards the election and then inform the public so that they are aware of the issues. It is not up to the Government to use EFCC, ICPC or any panel whatsoever to narrow the field for themselves.

If IBB has questions of corruption to answer, then someone should bring him to justice or let him be. This business of probing IBB whenever he declares interest to run for President is not good for politics.

@mikeansy,
now that u have decided to reason with ur brains, find out who else is on the radar of the so-called corruption fighters. where else in the world is DROP UR POLITICAL AMBITION OR FACE THE EFCC a solution to crime?
this noise will continue till the end of 2011 elections and the next time u will hear about it will be 2015. why is this war on 4 yrs basis?
look at atiku, a confirmed criminal in 2007 and now a king maker after just 3 yrs. think up brother.
assuming ibb allows obj and his group to have their ways on the presidency, he will nolonger be seen as a criminal.
tell me, what can be more criminal than the act of not allowing us to vote and be voted for?
what can be more criminal than the dumping of the state's constitution and use the individual's constitution?
we are doomed by the occupants of aso rock and as long as this is the case, we will continue in our front and back movements.
Sports / Re: Mikel Obi Vs Alex Song by chidichris(m): 9:05am On May 21, 2010
your stupidity is too much. you think everybody is a poor street cleaner hustling in dubai like you? my interest in football is purely for the love of the game. money is no object for me you digg? after i finish school in a year i will decide on what step to take next, the blessings of God upon my life are such that if i want to fly out for trials at my own expense i can and will do it and it will not be a big deal. dont get it twisted. there are more important things in life than football try and get that point. y am i even talkin to u? goodbye chidichris and be sure to never ever reply any post of mine.

@dangote(sorry kgdavid),
you are the funniest antelope i have seen in my life. u love football and not money? wonders shall never end.
u can have money but u don't have brains of ur own. ur father thinks for u which means u are in the same class as other domestic animals like dog, goat, sheep, okuko etc that their owners think and decide for them.
my candid advise to u is that u go die and come back via incarnation so that u will start deciding for urself what u want for urself.
in fact, u are the millenium slowpoke.
if i have access to mikel, i will plead with him to open a home for things like you so that a kind of brain rehablitation will begin to take place.
ur song is a good representative of arsenal - good football no trophy. mikel is a good representative of chelsea - bad football, too much trophies.
what shall it profit a player or a club, after playing free flow football and wonderful soccer, u end up trophiless?
the last time i checked, trophy was the mark of greatness in football. in discussing any great footballer, u address him with his decorations(medals).
i have not seen any great football without history of achievements.
in future, u must point to trophies to prove to the new generations that mikel was a great player and how many passes u made at the end of ur carrier will not be used to judge how great u were.
mumu, when u join football as u dream, play with teams that have winning ambitions. inter and buyern today are not among the free flow football teams of the world and they are in the finals. tomorrow, one of them will go home with the trophy and that will mark a great history in the players'carriers.

We are not there yet. Nigeria is STILL growing. OBJ arrested some,  Let this government put Ibori and others in jail,  Future govts will also arrest others.
Justice may be selective in Nigeria but note that those arrested are not innocent. Ibori was a BIG .T, , his team murdered alot of "GOOD MEN"in Delta State during the ealier elections. He is not the worst in the Country but LET HIM GO DOWN. IT IS HIS TURN TO GO DOWN.
For the others OBJ, IBB, ODILI and other past leaders in government (including Federal/state/local level officials, NNPC officials, police, Bank executives, etc) their TURN WILL SURELY COME.
NEVER STAND ON THE SIDE OF EVIL ELSE IT WILL CONSUME YOU OR A MEMBER OF YOUR FAMILY.
MEN OF GOODWILL SHALL RISE IN THIS COUNTRY. MEN WHO KNOW THE TRUE MEANING OF THE WORD HONOUR.
GOD BLESS NIGERIA as I look forward to the seizure of all Ibori's assets, arrest of his team members and killers as a sign to all future LOOTERS while also praying that the BIG HAND OF THE LAW will touch the others except THEY CHANGE THEIR OLD WAYS. LET US AS A PEOPLE DRIVE THE LOOTERS FROM GOVERNMENT IN THE 2010 ELECTION.
AS LONG AS WE INDIVIDUALLY LIVE ABOVE BOARD AND NEVER NEVER GIVE RESPECT TO LOOTERS WE SHALL OVERCOME.

@cleaner,
it is those of u shouting kill him, kill him today that will turn around tomorrow to sing his praises. all ibori needs to do now is to become loyal to obj and he will no longer be a criminal. i hope u know the story of atiku very well?
nobody has gone down and i bet u ibori will not go down.
they are only pushing him away to have their ways in the upcoming elections especially in delta state.
i am not supportiung ibori rather am against pdp and their criminalities.
there is no way a war against corruption in a country of over 150 million ppl will end up with one person in 2 or 3 years. if u have any slight knowledge of mathematics, u will know how many year it will take nigeria to catch 10 criminals.
this war has been on since the past 11 years, to what extent has this war changed the lives of a common man in nigeria? to what extent has this war helped to change the behaviours of our politicians towards public funds.
have u ever asked urself, how come a man who stole over N100b will go to jail for just 2 yrs? i and 90% of nigerians are ready to go for life in jail for N1b.
wise up brother, they are using ur brains.
in china, politicians are hanged on daily basis as soon as u are found guilty of corruption so why not in nigeria or even a life jail?

By the same moronic logic they postulate here, we should not investigate our paedophile Senator that married a 13 year old because "he is not the only one doing it, he is not the first and he is not the paedophile husband with the highest number of child brides in Nigeria". Grin

Investigating him is selective justice and persecution. We have to catch all those worse than him before dealing with him.

You can't beat that logic. Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Awon Geniuses! pro01!

@sagamite,
what happens to the one that slept with his daughter inlaw? marriage to a 13 yr old girl is just a way of showing how dirty nigeria is and how dirty our so called rulers are and tomorrow, such a person will be the head of corruption fight org.
by the way, the man involved here is a law maker. someone we expect to direct the ways of other nigerians and u can imagine what he will advise u to do.
a blind man can never and will never lead a blind man.
we have total blind rulers who are vissionless and can never take us to the promise land.
ibori is a product of pdp cabal and his disagreement with them must not attract our sympathy.
atiku was once in ibori's shoes and stood his ground until they settled so if ibori will stand his ground, tomorrow they will settle.
where is orji uzor kalu?

Believe me, he is about 50m times smarter than you. Go and read his historical posts.

He is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY smarter than you like most of the other people you are calling dunces here.

If he starts with you, I am pretty sure (and I will put money down on it) that he will smack you, intellectually, silly. I have seen him in action before.

@sagamite,
what makes u think the death of ibori will bring solution to the nigerian problems?
apart from ibori, who else do u think is corrupt in nigeria
what are those things ppl will do and u call them smart?
every nigerian is a criminal and in our own words, we call that smart.
it is very unfortunate that most crimes in nigeria are committed using english language.
do u think a corrupt aso rock will bring sanity to nigeria?
do u know any politician in nigeria that is not corrupt?
