MAN U all the way

u are right my broda not forgeting that only last season, chelsea met man u 3 times and 3 times chelsea won only man u lost 3 times.
yes, chelsea beat man u in this shield game and went ahead to beat them home and away in premier league.

Politics / Re: Obasanjo Bribed Lawmakers To Extend Tenure, Says House Leader ! by chidichris(m): 12:19pm On Aug 06, 2010
So you stop telling the truth because you 'retire' from politics. I think it's people in his situation that should even speak out more. It's the duty of every Nigerian, young or old, retired or in active service, to get our nation out of this mess.

OBJ has tried, at least lets applaud him for speaking out. It's more convenient for people like him to remain silent on matters of curruption in the cesspit called Nigeria!

@DaddyO,
what truth are u talking abt pls? the odi massacre or the one in benue all under obasanjo? the ogbulafor criminal case was under obasanjo. the illegal sharing of our oil wells were all under obasanjo thank God for yar adua who brought them back. ettehgate was under obasanjo, the worst election in the history of man was under obasanjo. tony annenih N300b road contract shames was under obasanjo. billionaires and political thugs were raised from all angles under obasanjo. in anambra and oyo states respectively were attacked by his thugs while seating govs were pushed out of office under obasanjo. $16b power contract was awarded and what we have today is the outcome as it concerns power supply.
the truth u are talking abt must be the truth of DO OR DIE AFFAIRS as was announced by obasanjo.

i am not interested in counting how good or bad obasanjo was and is but what am saying is rulership and leadership is all abt changes in power and not one man seating on power for life.

if there is any truth obasanjo can tell us today, he shld start with the death of bola ige. he shld tell nigerians why atiku was not send to jail after indicting him in 2007. he must also tell us why bode george was not jailed under him. he can also tell us abt his new found otah farm and cmpbell university, transcrop and a host of other multi billion naire companies.
Politics / Re: Obasanjo Bribed Lawmakers To Extend Tenure, Says House Leader ! by chidichris(m): 10:21am On Aug 06, 2010
my concern here is, at what age and time is obasanjo planing to retire from politics?
why can't this old man learn from men like mandela? is it not normal that ppl rule and give room for others to rule?
why is he hanging and dying to remain in power?
is it normal that he continues exchanging words with ppl of his children's ages and that of his grand children?
how long will obi remain a boy?
he is over doing things.
Sports / Re: John Obi Mikel: Comparing Him With Lionel Messi by chidichris(m): 9:25am On Aug 06, 2010
there is no point comparing Mikel and Messi, they really dont play in the same position and never have, whilst Mikel has always been a midfielder Messi is a support or second striker, i do wish Mikel had continued in the role he played for Nigeria in 2005. He was sensational then and is still very good right now as a defensive midfielder, I had hoped that he would be the one to take over from Okocha. His vision was extraordinary.
To compare him to Messi is a waste of time. It is like comparing Iker Casillas and Diego Forlan. Since they dont do the same thing it is fruitless.
Besides strikers are always the darling of the footballing world. They are the ones everyone talks about. No one talks of that brilliant tackle that stopped a goal bound move or that clearance of the line,

@kilakhan,
i call what u did above SOUND REASONING.
if nigerians have their ways, they will one day compare mikel with osama bin laden.
soccer is made up of different departments and at the end of the day, no normal person(unless nigerian soccer analysts) will compare peter cech and drogba.
in chelsea, mikel was acting the role of a shade to both the diffence and the goal keeper. we shld be asking if he did the role very well. in soccer many players have been converted from one position to another, thiery henry and drogba are good examples so mourinho paid 16 million pounds for mikel and chelsea was paying mikel what no other club cld pay him so what is wrong is positioning him where they will benefit from? if mikel was going to base his carrier on nigerian, maybe by now, he would have become a trader at alaba so it is a thing of joy that mikel is where he is today and looking at the situation in man u, i still believe that mikel made the most relevant decission of his life in rejecting the red devils and how can a man go to the devil wether black of green devil?
he is well positioned in life and can live the rest of his life on what he has gathered so far.
most wretched minds here are ready to advise mikel on how to live his life while their own lives make no sense.

@chidichris heroism to people is relative!
who is a hero to you might not be to the next person's, E.G to me all these football pple you guys are talkinga bout are no heros to me and other non football lovers, cos as far as we are concerned they make money for themselves and their family and therefore it is none of our business.

the only way i will excuse your actions are if you are a family member, and u are under the age of eighteen, even at that some mannerism of speech should be watched, as your speech or the way you express your sef in this forum directly tells one who you are without even meeting you face to face,

to me without any prejudice i think you are a very agressive person (Negatively)

my advise: be civil with your language and stop name calling.

@vinmol,
name calling is not new to me. with ur statement, i know where u belong. u have advised me to stop name calling while u call me A VERY AGRESSIVE PERSON(NEGATIVELY). like i said, it is not a new thing to me.
there are ppl who are born with this special calling of not recognising those who are doing well. some are born with bad reactions to news of good things coming to others.
if mikel and other footballers are not heroes, why are we talking abt them here? if they are just making money for themselves, why will kanu and a host of other players build charity homes and several foundations to help the less previlledged? why are these guys been invited from time to time to represent us during events? why will some of them die serving nigeria?
if u use dictionary, please search for the word SADDIST.
our vllage saddists are those who throw poisions arround in our villages in other to stop up coming talents while modern day saddists ply their trades using computers and other modern gadgets to PULL OTHERS DOWN.
for the sake of who i am, i am never aggressive but i can never partner with a saddist so i stand for what is right.
respect must be given to those due for respect.
if any of us feels uncomfortable with life, that one can go ahead and commit suicide rather than coursing problems here and there.
if you are not comfortable with the word hero, u can call them SUPER STARS.
BRODA, i am this type that will always call white WHITE any day so what u feel does not matter to me. i don't mind how many ppl that will believe in my position because I NO SEND.

since u already have 3 kids, i will suggest u go and enroll in some sex lessons at least u will learn how to make love. on the other hand, u can go out there and try pay as you go.

@ chidichris and Oweniwe, why have you allowed emotions to be cloud your sense of thinking
and respect for other forumers?

if you do not like his post why don't u guys just look past it, instead of being insultive and uncivil?

he has a right to his opinion on a player or otherwise? your insult will not force him to change his views.

MY POINT, act like adults and respect pple in this forum stop INSULTS! IT IS NOT NECESSARY!

@vinmol,
u are right, this is democracy where everybody has right to behave the way he/she wants including behaving like a goat.
i hope u are aware that in this madness of freedom, i also have right to my opinion.
i really do not know who u are otherwise i wld have love to remind you that do as u like is different from democracy.
i expect you to advise us to respect our heros and worthy ambassadores instead of advising to allow dogs to parade our streets in the name of democracy.

what kind of nonsense is this, who is the moderator on this forum. you guys needs to be mature in here

@12large,
this statement above reminds me of bode george who sent his lawyers to sue a media house for destruction of his intergrity. the presiding judge strucked out the case and ask bode george how he is dreaming of intergrity from the jail.
mumu, u don't talk abt maturity because u have got non ok?
u better drop out of soccer and nigeria. if possible, drop into niger or burkina faso.

@Chidichris

Oga ade, your comment was outta planet pertainin dis topic, u just talk am as if dis topic is to criticise mykel.
wia u not aware of d topic between C.Ronaldo vs Messi? r niether any of em from flygeria? or is it b'cos mykel is a flygerian? no think am so oga, d topic is not about what u think. it's even a compliment comparin our own nigerian player (mykel) to d best player in d world. I'm an Arsenal fan, buh i lyk mykel pass anything. buh dat doesn't mean dat, wen comparin mykel to a player dat is better dan him, i should hide d truth n stil support him b'cos i lyk him or b'cos he's a flygerian, despite both players started dsame tym. so pls don't see it as hatred to him (mykel), atleast, it's 1 of d reason y dey have world best players award! N for doz of y'all sayin niether of em cannot be compared b'cos dey played from differ position, y'all r wrong! FIFA does not ask for position b4 gettin his best player of d year, it's all about a players perfomance both club n country, n nothin else. differ players has won d fifa world best player award in differ position. Zinedin Zidan has won it as a Central midfielder. Ronaldo Delima has won it as a striker. Canavaro has won it as a defender. C.Ronaldo won it as a right wing midfielder. Messi also won it as a supportin stricker! (pls correct me if i'm wrong)

@Ranoscky,
there is a great different between the word i and the word we. it makes sense if u discuss the word i because u can be different from the others. it will be more reasonable for u to take a trip to this forum and see how many topics that have been posted on this treade and see what majority of nigerians are saying for and against the guy.
do u know what it means to make a critical analyses of a person or situation and what it means ppl out of envy and greed on every occassion try to run down another.
the bible says, one with God is majority and as we can see, mikel is with God and our thoughts, votes and opinions have got little or nothing to do with his height in the round leather game.
why am i even preaching to u? have u not read on this forum ppl calling mikel useless and back pass and what ever? what exactly are u not aware of in where these myopic group are?
the next time we are going to compare mikel on this forum, i know it is going to be with goodluck jonathan tuface idibia.

some of are specialists in PULL HIM DOWN(PHD).
like father, like son. most parents are in the villages doing the destruction works of detroying talents with jujus and their children are in our cities doing same via their computers but God pass them.
why and how on earth can a young man wake up in the morning and on his computer just to write nonsense abt his fellow young man.
if most of us here have their ways, they will destroy mikel but God has placed mikel far from your reach brothers.
i was reading an article last time and i saw that drogba is among the first 100 most popular ppl on this planet earth so if we push further, there is a possibility of seeing mikel among the first 200,300 or so yet a useless young man who can barely feed himself is here to say thrash.
the secret of progress is appreciating progressives.
envy and greed is the major reason nigeria has refused to grow and nairaland is hosting a lot of never do-well who celebrate ppl downfall and weep over their achievements.
what else can mikel ask for in his flourishing life with too much money, good profession, quality popularity and pratically enjoyed every good thing of life at a very tender age driving any machine of his choice and wearing designers of world class and have access to the best women the world can produce. in what other ways can a man live a fulfilled life nigerians?
professionwise, he has played with and against the best legs football can produce in our time. i don't know of any world class media that has never carried news of this young man and i do not know of any world class soccer analyst that does not know mikel. he has shaked hands with relevant authorities in soccer all over the world.
nigerians, how many lions will a mikel kill before you can call him a lion killer?

Stiffer competition for Mikel.

@mumu,
if what u see now is stiffer competition, what did u see when he signed chelsea contract at the begining? a bed of roses i think? pls can u tell me of any world class club where the competition is not stiff.
hard times are the only way to determine hardmen.
mikel knew what it means to be in chelsea and he signed against all the predictions of unreasonable goats like u in the name of nigerians he proved u all wrong.

I disagree. We celebr8 our players.Oliseh, Finidi,Ikpeba, Yekini,Ike uche& co were celebrated. Or would u like to celebra8 failure? U might go on celebrating Yakubull, Kaita etc for such perfomance on the field of play. Success is never hidden. We had just few players worthy of celebration. Or maybe I shuld celebrate Mikel for denouncing not to make the last Olympic team & telling Sia1 to apologise to him b4 he wear the 9ja jersey

@sley4life,
wether u cebra8 or celebra9 these players or not, they no send u. have u ever asked urself how many of our talents that are wasting because of govt's inability to look towards their directions. have u ever asked urself how these players came to limelight? are u aware that most of these players made their ways to europe through the wilderness? do u know what it takes for these players to make it in life? if these players are not patrotic, what are u urself/. in which ways are u representing nigeria? maybe through fraud, bunkering, kidnapping or high way robberies?
nigeria is over 200 million in population so tell me why is it that every minute of the dya, u and ur nff continue mentioning the names of certain players as if without them there will not be football in nigeria?
how many nigerian players have become useless because of ordinary injuries? can u tell me one good reason why one can sacrifice his life or carrier for u and ur fellow nigerians.
where is joseph dusu, amuneke and a host of other injured nigerian players? what about late sam okwaraji and his family?
why is it that most of u are not worried with the unimaginable situation of this country and allow boys who are struggling to survive on their own?
are u a disabled person? are u mentally challenged? if ur answer to both are no, why are u not playing for nigeria?
look at our local league, what is nff and govt doing to develop our local talents? mikel and his fellow nigerian players are the most patrotic ppl on this earth. if i were them, i will tell this country my conditions. he who pays the piper dictates the tone. these clubs are paying heavily to have these boys so why will any of them risk his carrier and life for such a hopeless and useless country and ppl like u?

if anyone sees mikel as useless, that one is a never do well. if u look at the haters of mikel here, what u will see is envy, greed and jealous. show me any progressive in life that will say mikel is not doing well never.
manucho went to man u, played just one game and he was sent out on loan and was later sold. now diouf is on his way to briminham on loan while the much talked abt anderson will be used along 12 million pounds to bid for ozil and some less than idiots are here telling me that mikel made a mistake in dumping fergie and his 4 million for mourinho and his 16 million. who among u mikel haters have heard abt 16 million pounds in ur lineages?
well thinking ppl will ask how come mikel finished his first contract with chelsea and is in the second contract?
another idiot here(12large) keep on saying mikel never scored for chelsea and i always inform him that mikel has scored twice for chelsea but with his kind of brain, he can't learn.
God has place mikel well above his haters hence they talk in vain. by the way, what do u expect from all these under bridge boys?
mikel is everywhere making money. he did not play in south africa yet he collected some funds from mtn and pepsi for endorsements. samsung is always visiting the bank to bless his account. he is into another one with yobo and osaze for pepsi and one less previledged is here wasting his time comparing mikel with everybody.
i know the next poster is warming up by now and this time, it is going to be between mandela and mikel or mikel vs obama, what a shame.
there will never be a sports forum on nairaland without mikel's topic.
some shameless ones who brought shame to their generations here in the past have gone underground so these are new generation fools parading themselves here condeming a man blessed by God.

what an slowpoke so you are comparing manucho,djemba,fortune of maram diouf to the mikel of 2005 you must be tottally silly. mikel was a replacement for keane or scholes he would hAVE BEEN REALLY GOOD. ANYWay this topic is old lets leave mikel he wants to keep playing like mumu so be it

@12large,
if u look back at the things u wrote in the past abt mikel and what is on ground today, it will be easy to shift u to the mental rehablitation home where u belong.
if anyone says mikel is not doing well, that one is either mad or an slowpoke.
on this nairaland, who has not been compared to mikel? martins, okocha, song of cameroun and every player u can think of.
the truth is that mikel is a great man and a hero. very very relevant to be ignored even by haters.

May God Bless you Chidichris and how I wished everybody on this thread would reason like you as you have said it all about Mikel and Man U. If Mikel had signed for Man U it would have being the end of his career perhaps by now he would have been in oblivion. What has beocme of Manucho; he was sold into slavery by almighty Fergie.

I want to say it again about Fletcher and Anderson who are now playing in Mikel's stead, are they better players to Mikel of Chelsea. How do you measure progress in football? Mikel has won the most coveted trophy in England; Premier League, he has won the FA, which is the oldest inthe history of Football as far is the English foot is concerned, he has won the Carling Cup, won the Community Shield and also won Chelsea Youngest Player Award. On several ocasion he won man of the match and virtually, all the winnable in the English League

Even in Nigeria, he is the most valuable player the country could offer now,

@massach79,
thanks jare. the major problem of nigerians is that they try to politicise everything. and the best thing that happens to mikel is that he does not disturb himself with nigeria and nigerians. the guy has decided to move on with his life and forget about these evil men that lives in this evil country called nigeria.
if u look arround this forum called nairaland, u will see that 95% if not more of what they write abt mikel here is negative and this is ironically the best player nigeria has at the moment.
for u to know the value of mikel, u must learn to watch him without centiments and listen to commentators who are not nigerians or nigerian based. outside nigeria, worthy men of soccer will tell you mikel is a player but come to a country where non is doing well in football, they will all tell you that mikel is a waste.
i lost my respect for eguavon in egypt 2006 when caf gave mikel the man of the match in a game and the so called eguavon said no he does not worth it.
that was in a game mikel came from the bench to create a goal and scored one himself that made nigeria won that game.
no matter how we look at it, anyone playing his soccer with a high profile club like chelsea is a hero.
Sports / Re: John Obi Mikel: Comparing Him With Lionel Messi by chidichris(m): 8:12am On Aug 03, 2010
@poster,
how many players were in holland in 2005 and apart from mikel and messi, where are the others?
if u were mikel, will u dump chelsea offering u 16 million pounds for man u offering 4 million pounds?
anderson and flecther are man u players and how have they fared? have they won world players of the year?
how many black players or african origin are playing in man u and why do u think mikel shld have been playing there by now? what happened to manucho who man u signed and how many matches did he play?
if u are not informed, manucho played just one premier league match for man u and he was sent out on loan and was later sold. and that was the game plan of fergie who is the modern day slave master when it comes to soccer and black players.
the problem with soccer analysts from nigeria like u is that u lack information otherwise u will not come up with such dirty anmd baseless arguement against mikel. do u know the man who sold mikel from lyn oslo(morgan anderson) was jailed for fraudulently selling mikel to man u. fergie and the lyn oslo director of sports were into a shady deal that mikel decided to quit.
if you are interested in man u, why not train urself and make urself available for the club.
mikel is a chelsea player and by God's grace, he is doing well for himself socderwise and financialwise.
drogba, eto and essien are all african players who have played to the highest level, have they won world player of the year? if u are not comfortable as a man, live ur life and allow mikel to live his life.
u can't love mikel more than urself. what have u done for urself and how far have u gone in ur life that made u a judge over someone else's life.
most nigerian low lives finds it comfortable advising a well to do man like mikel.
mikel as we speak can take care of ur lineage yet u judge him.
if you are realistic, u will agree with me that ur parents would prefer to have mikel as their child more than ten of u.
foolish nigerians with foolish minds. no wonder nothing is working well in our country.
most of uninformed fools like u said mikel will destroy nigerian football and were rejoicing when he left south africa and today, the cup came back with super eagles because we did not have mikel in the team.

nairaland represents the mind of majority of nigerians. what are we rejoicing over? who is winning who? it is kill ibori, kill ibori today and tomorrow it will be a red carpet for ibori to rejoin this same cabals that want him dead now.

2007, we heard this same song against atiku and we were all rejoicing but only a couple of months back, atiku was welcomed back to pdp and non of us here is asking questions over his criminal status that was established by the most sincere man in nigeria - ribadu.

sometime ago, we all shouted, crucify him, crucify him with alams on the cross. a couple of months back, alams recieved a national and heroic welcome back and we watched with sealed mouths.

wow, orji uzor kalu, the highest international criminal decleared a national treat by obasanjo and ribadu and we joined the noise making group by calling for firing squad. where is orji uzor kalu today? we recieved back in pdp and matters in the fridge.

for how long are we going to be like this? who is after these criminals? why is harlibutton scandal and siemens scandal not getting any attention from any quatters? the big and the mighties are all involved.

in all these wars and noise over recovered loots since 1999 till date, can anyone of us here point to any tangible change(s) in our economy/individual lives?

in all these wars and noises, how many federal contractors or office holders have answered question over federal awarded contracts as we saw in the ares like electricity, federal roads, refinaries, security, electorial mal-practices, and things that have to do with federal govt.

at what point in our lives are we going to start asking questions?

most of us calling on uk to be fast abt ibori's extradiction here will turn back to condem uk when ever they produce a documentary on niger delta or the real situation in nigeria.

if we have accepted the fact that we got independence at unripped age, why don't we call on britain to come back at least now that we are convienced that we cannot handle things on our own.
Politics / Re: It May Be Ribadu And Oshiomhole For AC as Tinubu Drops Out . by chidichris(m): 3:55pm On Jul 27, 2010
if ribadu likes, let him make clinton his running mate, he will not pass.
ribadu has got a lot of unanswered questions on his head.
and some of these questions will include;
1. why did atiku not go to jail after he(ribadu) told us in 2007 that atiku is a criminal?
2. why did tony annenih and the fg not asnwer any question from him based on the contract given on ibadan-benin expressway?
3. what was his findings in the nigeria ports authority (npa) under bode george and why did it has to take waziri to jail george and not ribadu?
4. why did it has to take 10 yrs to open a case on vincent ogbulafor's misappropriation of funds?
5. what was the differences between alams case of money laundary and that of andy uba in the uk and usa respectively and why did one go to jail and the other remained a saint?
6. how far did he(ribadu) go with iyabo obasanjo's investigation under him?
7. what happened in the ettehgate and why was a guilty party not sent to jail?

all these and some other under resolved matters are still waiting for clearance from him alone. nigerians see ribadu as a deciet and he will change that mindset with a national explanations.

by the way, would obj even allow ribadu to come back and give him a fight in his own personal republic of nigeria?

ribadu was as good as soludo and when soludo came to context in the anambra gubernitorial election, i told us here that he will not succeed because he was used.
under obj, we know one woman was clean and cld not last.
ribadu is a criminal who ran away after his deadly acts only to return on the orders of his co-criminals.
nobody is blind to his actions and anyone who is not ready to face our law courts must learn to stay away from public offices.
his partner el -rufai has said it that no court has right to try him. tony annenih said no put in nigeria is big enough to cook him and these men are working to bring sanity when they cannot be tried by anyone including our constitution.
it is a shame that nigeria has decayed to this level.
Politics / Re: El-rufai Says Court Lacks Power To Try Him ! by chidichris(m): 2:41pm On Jul 27, 2010
yes, he is right. nobody has right to try him except God.
God, pls, now that we have failed in our abilities and efforts to make these men pay for their misdeeds, let ur judgement come upon these men since they are bigger than all of us.
let ur anger visit them like in the days of nebukadenezah.
all these and more i ask with faith in that mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Politics / Re: Obasanjo (Nigeria) Vs Jacob Zuma (South Africa) by chidichris(m): 2:36pm On Jul 25, 2010
Well Wembley Stadium is in fact the property of the English Football Association which is commercially, financially and administratively completely independent of the UK Government.
But the truth is that the current Zuma regime inherited an economy with a fully developed private sector with the concomittant support of the well integrated financial services industry.

@tensor777,
do u think democracy has relationship with heritage? inheritance is only related to monarchs and other forms of traditional leadership system.
here we are talking abt people who do all sorts of things and make some crazy promises just to be made rulers.
if someone inherits a leadership position and ended up not been good, we can forgive him because he did not ask for it. what reasons do u have for someone who campeigned for 4 yrs, kill and destroy just to be our president? do u know what it means to promise what u cannot do? what is the difference between a 419er who promised u $10m if u pay $1k and a politician who promise to give u light if u make him president and both promises failed.
what is deciet? how much do u think obj had in his account in 1999 before he became president and how much do u think he has now?
look at ghana. do u know that the slogan, ghana must go has turned to nigeria must go?
in these two countries, who inherited what?
look at liberia after such deadly wars. look arround the world and tell me where mansions and skyscreppers are used as individual houses apart from nigeria.
do u have politicians in ur area? i mean ppl u know very well? i know some and i can tell u they are stupidly rich as we speak yet we had obj and ribadu who were the lions in the war agianst corruption.
maybe when u come of age or when u look into other countries and see how things are done. outside nigeria, ppl will argue and die that those houses they see in our movies are not individual houses.
in many areas in nigeria, lagos in particular, a plot of land can be sold at N100m without access roads and no infrstructures in place.
if destruction is possible, that is what nigeria needs otherwise divission will do us well.
we are only existing by name and nothing more. imagine u asking how much is our budget when N10b will be used to celebrate our 50yrs of failures.
Politics / Re: Obasanjo (Nigeria) Vs Jacob Zuma (South Africa) by chidichris(m): 2:19pm On Jul 25, 2010
Let us stop this nonsensical talk of Obasanjo spending $18 billion on electric power generation Actually what is the annual capital expenditure budget that would permit the disbursement of such an amount. It is just under $5 billion

@tensor777,
what u have just displayed here is a very good example of nigerian wisdom and logic as it reflects in our situations today. how much was used to build that satelite that damaged before? and how many years budget was that? how much was recovered from abacha? and how many years budget was that? anyways, this forum is a combination of kids, children, teenagers, and adults so we can fix ur age from ur comment and then with a good moderator here in future, such dry comments will be pushed either to the kiddies section or comedy zone. by the way, why don't u try ur luck in the ay comedy fan zone? who knows, ur calling might be there?
Politics / Re: Abia Gov Set to Quit APGA For PDP by chidichris(m): 2:12pm On Jul 25, 2010
I am not a fan of Theodore Orji but I also know that The Sun can get up to all kinds of mischief not least when the owner of the Newspaper is the Tomentor-in-Chief to the Governor.

It could be true that Governor Orji is contemplating switching, it can also be true that the sun is making it up to paint him as indecisive.

@mikeansy,
no newspaper in the world is always right.
the one u call his tormentor today was his mentor.
we all know the story of the present gov and his so-called tormentor/mentor.
what nigerians have refused to accept is that these politicians are using us for fun.
most of us a like ballon on top of the sea without self control and has to depend on the direction of the wind.
follow - follow. when they move to ppa, they followed them, when the move to apga, they followed them and as they prepare to go to pdp, ah they are even waiting at the party office for recieption.
no personal will and decission.
if u look at the political history, u will believe that the present gov has been depending on the powers of his tormentor/mentor. nigerians and abians must learn to accept the fact that these guys are using whatever means that are possible for them to get to their destination and our sympathies are needed most time to achieve their aims.
this same gov will tell ur orji uzor kalu is the best thing that happened to the state and he will at the same time tell u he is the problem of the state at different times and for different reasons and that is politician for u.
don't depend on any politician especially, nigerian politician because their case as obj will tell u is always a DO OR DIE AFFAIR.
Sports / Re: Nigeria Vs USA: 4 - 2! @ Women's U-20 World Cup by chidichris(m): 1:14pm On Jul 25, 2010
we are winning
maybe these women will start representing us as men.
we will use them for super eagles
Politics / Re: Obasanjo (Nigeria) Vs Jacob Zuma (South Africa) by chidichris(m): 12:56pm On Jul 25, 2010
The author must be a slowpoke - OBJ never spent $18b on power; this matter has been discussed many times on this forum already. A simple attempt to verify information before publishing will help.

@debosky,
obj never spent $18b on power, BUT how much did he spend?
maybe N20k.
with the varifications u have made, u shld be in a better position to tell those of us that are ill informed the real situation of things.
pls remember to varify the harlibutton matter and how much he got in the deal.
also, varify how much he spent on his third term agenda.
do not forget to verify how mcuh he wasted in the 2007 show of shame called election.
mr. verifier, always varify how many of his aides that are not billionaires in dollars when replying.
in ur varifications, remember to inform us on the most corrupt civilian administration in the history of nigeria.
pls don't forget to varify the roles of the late adedibu and chris uba under that shambles call administration of ur obj.
i don't want to be quick like u in calling anyone here a slowpoke otherwise i wld love to make it a back to sender situation.
if you live ur life varifying, what have u verified to be the reason for obj not giving us steady power supply as he promised in 1999? maybe lack of funds or sites to build?
verifier, what happened to the road contracts at federal levels and how did his dog(ribadu) react to that or did u verify that to somewhere outside financial crimes?
what was the result of ur verifications on iyabo's visit to efcc, atiku's extablished case of financial misappropriation that resulted to his indictment in 2007?
verify for us why bode george was seen as a siant under the noise making ribadu/obj war on corruption while a less noisy yar adua and waziri jailed him?
have u ever verified why nigeria is backward compared to other countries of the world even poorer countries? what is ur result of verifications as it relates to nigeria been the only dark country in the world.
who is even mad to compare zuma and obj? zuma was always there to face the court, can ur obj ever come to court?
who is even talking abt hosting a world cup when ordinary under 17 was messed up? can a dark country host enlightened men? that is pretty impossible.
obj is the worst man in our history because no other nigerian has ev er had the opportunity obj had to turn our lives arround.
take a trip to benin republic, togo, ghana, ivory coast, they all have running and good pipe borne water and steady power supply and what do we have here? quality pure waters, individual water holes, bottle waters of different colours and regions with our water board always in the budget year in, year out. more investments into power supply with lesser outputs.
are u not ahsamed to be defending these poor managed systems that produce beasts and goats as rulers?
with the level of movements, in how many years coming are u expecting nigeria to compare themselves development and infrastructural abilities with the likes of togo, ghana, benin talkless of the likes of south africa and other high rated systems in the world not minding our mineral resources?
the killing of two communities by obj is worthy of our praises mr. varifier.
ur type have settled for pepetual hardship and as such will always jump to the defence of ur tormentors.
