yes brymo was underated, but reason I left him out was he really didn't pushed hard enough.
I mean what stopped him from giving the people another ara be?
since he realised that's what they want..so I think he wasn't really that consistent to be on my list.
As for vector he shared same spotlight with mi for years, no body came close between them.
he just didn't utilised it..

vector isn't underated to me, it's just his vibes people just doesn't feel it.. including me.

unlike naeto c, ice prince.. those are vibes that were felt

Oops....you're still stuck in the Brymo of Ara and Oleku era. Sorry bro, we long left you behind. Listen to Klitoris, Oso, Yellow, 9 (Esan and Harmattan & Winter) and the recently released Theta. Brymo has evolved, likewise his pen game is still on point. Baba bagged 6 Headies nominations for the forthcoming Headies awards.

KazikageSama:
A machine can over pay and underpay you. Mostly because of the mistake of the ATM custodians. Sometimes they mistakenly load 500NGN in 1000 ATM cassettes or vice versa or even slip in few notes of 500 in 1000 bunch.

Count your money right in front of the ATM camera then walk into the branch to complain if need be.

Not just mistakes in loading. The ATM clamp and shutter could be faulty. Leading to the machine under-paying customers

Does truecaller also reveal the name of the bank you are banking with?

I think it's the BVN database that's been compromised because when they state full name and date of birth, they mention the bank with which you got enrolled for BVN.

It's the amateurs that say "your bank"

SA really messed up. They started the Qualifiers with 3pts and +2 goals difference against Nigeria. But fast forward to match day 5 Nigeria qualfied with a game to spare and they (SA) will have to scale through a desert Storm to qualify. grin

They are so fund of breaking the hearts of their fans.

A very funny scenario. Started in flying colours and ending in gloomy colours with an uphill task.

Having defeated us (the biggest threat in the group) away from home, one would've thought they've already qualified. I guess they let down their guards. They were basking in The euphoria of beating us. Soccer Africa's T.K. no let Peterside hear word. Now Peterside is laughing last and even better. The goaless draw against Seychelles was their greatest undoing.

Like some here always say, S.A. always get choked.

Education / Re: Is Fluency In English Not Really A Measure Of Intelligence? by Chukwuemeka007(m): 12:53pm On Dec 19, 2018
The title of this thread ought to be:

"IS FLUENCY IN A LINGUA FRANCA A MEASURE OF INTELLIGENCE?"

So all the Chinese, German, Indian, French, etc crew will get a better understanding of the subject matter.

As a Nigerian, having gone through 6-3-3-4/5, you ought to have a very good command of the English language because you were taught with it from kindergarten through to the university/polytechnic and you even studied it as a subject.

On the issue of correlation between fluency (in English as a Nigerian) and intelligence, it's not a straight forward thing because: Some Nigerians aren't fluent or can't even speak English at all but they are smart and intelligent in their dealing, but as a Nigerian Secondary School/University/Polytechnic graduate, it can't be ruled off.
Education / Re: Is Fluency In English Not Really A Measure Of Intelligence? by Chukwuemeka007(m): 12:37pm On Dec 19, 2018
SmartMindsFx:
Intelligence doesn't have anything at all to do with fluency in English.

Those that argued are just dumb because what their argument explains is that those who don't speak English at all are not intelligent.

I saw a video on BBC website last month and its about a store in China where you can get a mobile device built from scratch.

The fun thing is that the founder and most workers don't speak English correctly.

So, what's the argument again?

Oga, that Chinese man can speak his lingua franca (Mandarin) very well. He has no business with English. It's not his lingua franca and he wasn't taught in school with it.

What OP means is as a Nigerian graduate, shouldn't you have a good command of the English language? bearing in mind that it's our official language and we were taught in school with it.

I'm only against those graduates who feel they don't have to speak and/or write good English because "English no be my papa language"

On the correlation between fluency in English language (as a Nigerian) and intelligence, that's a different kettle of fish

Richardingwe:

English isn't a measure of intelligence
BUT
if you went to a primary school that taught you using English, and taught you English as a subject, same happened in secondary school.
You wrote your exams in English too, down to O'level
.
And you still can't speak fluent English or write well.
I am sorry, YOU ARE DUMB!

Gbam!

I disagree.

So you're saying there's no problem when a university graduate uses: Am for I'm, there for their, were for where, order for other, been for being, etc?

Come on! this is our official language. We've been schooled with it from elementary school to the university, we converse with it, etc
Education / Re: Is Fluency In English Not Really A Measure Of Intelligence? by Chukwuemeka007(m): 12:13pm On Dec 19, 2018
80% of peeps here got the OP wrong.

OP, your topic should've been:

"IS FLUENCY IN A LINGUA FRANCA A MEASURE OF INTELLIGENCE?"

A Russian, Chinese or French university or high school graduate is fluent in Russian, Mandarin or French. They have no business with English because they were not taught with it and it's not their lingua franca.

As a Nigerian, you can't pass through 6-3-3-4/5 (learning in English Language) and write/speak rubbish like the corps member did and be pardoned.

I'm not saying you should be 100% and "blow big grammar" just know your tenses, pronouns, sentence formation etc.

KingCassy:

Ha! When there are 7 banks in unizik....

FUTO's location makes it bad for bank business. Just students and staff of the university are potential customers (even at that, the population of students and staff is obviously low because FUTO is not a conventional university).

Unlike Unizik or other schools where the banks serve both students, staff (more population - nonconventional university) and members of the host communities (markets) because of their strategic location (in the heart of the city).

I'm however not absolving FUTO's mgt of any monopolistic dealings with Diamond Bank but the truth is there's no potential market there for other banks to rush.

CAF Offers South Africa AFCON 2019 Hosting Rights

South African Football Association (SAFA) president Danny Jordaan has confirmed that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) wants South Africa to step in as hosts of the Africa Cup of Nations AFCON 2019, at short notice, according to a report on South Africa’s Times Live.

CAF stripped Cameroon of the AFCON 2019 hosting rights at the weekend due to delays in preparing for the continental showpiece, and the continental football governing body is now seemingly now eyeing South Africa as a replacement.

Jordaan told the SAFA AGM in Sandton on Sunday that the continental football governing body has asked SA to seriously consider taking over as AFCON 2019 hosts.
The Safa president returned to SA on Sunday morning after attending Caf’s Extraordinary Executive Committee meeting in Accra‚ Ghana, where the decision to dump Cameroon was taken.

The report also revealed that Safa will meet the South African government first before making a decision on whether to accede to the request.
South Africa last staged the Cup of Nations in 2013 which was won by Nigeria.
The 2019 event is scheduled for June 15-July 13, a change from its traditional January-February slot and it will be the first to feature 24 teams — up from 16 at the 2017 edition in Gabon.

Didn't you see that corner kick that Omeruo should have scored against SA? So the person that delivered it is not a Nigerian?

I saw it but how many routine poor deliveries came before that one in the game against SA?

How many good corner kicks do we see when the SE play? Sincerely, I expect nothing when we have corners in games.

The corners Chukwueze took were good and satisfactory to me

We seem to have over estimated ourselves.

When we talk about talent are we talking in the context of a world standard or our own local standard.

If we intend to be competing at the highest level then we need to use the standard applicable for making a deduction of outstanding quality talent. Otherwise we will be in delusion and enthrone mediocrity in the name of supporting our talent.

It's that misguided blinded bias that made people here to equate KC, to Mbappe, Aguero, Gabriel, etc, etc.

There is a need for realism we don't have any Kanu, Okocha , Finidi , Oliseh, Taribo, Yakubu, Yekini, Amokachi, etc. Anymore in my opinion we have regressed in the quality of players available to the SE currently. A lot more has to be done.

We have very limited talents as it stands not an abundance of talents.

Considering we called Kelechi Nwakali a SPECIAL TALENT and when I said there was no evidence to support that deduction. I was called hater and a lot worse.

So let's hail Rohr for a job well done with very limited talents.

Sir Komekn, thanks for your exothermic reaction as anticipated. On Nigeria regressing in talents, myself and most persons here won't take that.

During yesterday's game, when Success was about to be subbed in, one of the commentators said:

"Isaac Success the Watford man in the EPL is about to come in. This gets you asking: how many African teams have EPL players on their bench? This goes to show the array of talents Nigeria has"

Sir Komekn, please what's the world standard in talent discovery/measurement?

And please of all the players so far invited by Rohr since his appointment, who amongst them are talented according to international standards?

Bro, even if we played SA in a friendly today in a neutral ground expect to see the same. With Rohr I know what to expect. And we should all know this if we threw out all sentiments. I know he can win games but I know a tactical coach will always pose him problems.

Well let me take on the issues u seemed to be quoting me. Firstly I never said we will not get to the QF. But I consider getting to the QF an achievement over AFCON qualification. Why? Nigeria is easily among the top 8 teams in Africa or at least should always come out of the group at an AFCON competition. I’m not even setting the bar high here. It’s just the reality, and even our TRUE Team B should be able to pull that off. That’s the bare minimum. I’m saying I’ts far reasonable celebrating that than an AFCON qualification. Those saying we failed to qualify in the past can we be sincere enough to compare the circumstances. Our failures were purely caused by administrative lapses in the glass house. Even Yusuf would qualify us for the AFCON given him the right working environment Rohr has enjoyed. You guys failed to realize that Rohr has enjoyed the backing of the NFF than any coach has ever had. I want to applaud Pinnick for that, and he also gave Oliseh that kind of support. Siasia only had a stint. Or did u guys think Rohr would have qualified us in that Siasia circumstance? Every coach deserves support. I will say it again, if Nigeria can promote an atmosphere of excellence we will exceed expectations in all walks of life within this country.

Rohr has shown us his best, but his best will not bring out the best we can get considering what we have. I’m afraid at this timing we have to manage him. Even if he were an indigenous coach, I would say the same. It’s not the right time to send him out, because he still has the results going well for him. However I can already smell the coffee. That day will come, because he will not do more than he has already demonstrated. For one thing he will not exceed Keshi’s achievement. Now can you ask yourself, don’t we deserve better than Keshi’s achievement? The time will come you all will realize it’s time to move on.

Nobody is asking we play like Barca. But it’s simply unacceptable that we can hardly string passes from defense to attack without losing possession in a CARELESS manner. Or am I exxagaratimg here? Somebody tell me.

If the altitude is high, you reduce your running and let the ball do the running. But how is this possible when ur passing game is suspect. We still have that all-important key pass strength in us, which is why we beat their defense and scored (wrongly disallowed) in two occasions. However, we can do better as a team considering SA isn’t even a great team.

Rohr should be able to spot this problem and fix it. Will he?

Modified
Rohr will not even match Keshi’s achievement. You can bookmark this

Like I said in the first paragraph of my submission, I'm not absolving Rohr of any wrongdoings. Yes, like in every team not just the SE there are still loose ends to tighten up and records to equal and hopefully surpass but let's throw in our opinions in a manner that won't seem to be rubbishing his current achievements and efforts.

About the QF stuff, yes it was your statement I was referring to and thanks for making your point clearer.

All I'm hammering on is let's not become armchair critics with high level of pessimism.
