A lot of people come here and pontificate about things they know close to nothing about. I call on anyone here to import a car, transport, clear it, register, insure, add a tracker to it and then give it out for £25k a week, If you do, then you are clearly a terrible business man/ woman or at best running a charity. A lot of you are coming here saying you can't accept anything more than 25k..... With all due respect you cannot afford to buy a decent car much less give it out on rental so please stop talking nonsense. There is a good reason why decent investors are leaving this game and it's not all due to bad roads or low fares. Greedy uninformed ignorant drivers are a huge factor and make no mistakes, there are bad owners as well but that is for another day.

LMAO grin grin u still called back after rejecting an offer

He clearly doesn't know what he is talking about and sounds extremely entitled. He stipulates his terms, sees a car that does not meet the said terms and proceeds to call and reject the same terms. Am struggling with the logic. smiley smiley

Third party costs not more than 5k..But the disadvantage is that your car won't be repaired in the result of an accident. It's the other car involved (the third party) that will be fixed. And the insurance claim is about a million naira, I think

As for Comprehensive, it covers both yours and the third party. But I know the costs varies. Pocohantas can refer you to her insurance coy. I no sabi that one at all

You stated all the cars you've driven on rentals are third party, that is not true. I know for a fact one of them is comprehensively insured : wink wink wink

The request came in around 11:45am today, I accepted it and drove off to the pickup location upon my arrival, my rider to pickup was completely naked as in no bra, no panties and no cloths on her, 2 other women in her company said pls allow her in ur vehicle and let's drive to area G police station, it was a dangerous case, I rejected and said no way I can never drive in such condition then the two women in the naked woman's company brought out their ID and said police dectective, your are obliged to obey and drive off to the police station as we av a very serious criminal case to handle, you are however mandated to obey our command as your service is urgently required by the Nigerian law
I said thank God I am not in trouble today they all came in and I drove off, while on the trip I informed all my riders that by uber law, no one should be allowed into my vehicle in such condition most especially when I feel unsafe to drive my rider to their destination
They all kept quiet no comment, after I ended the trip, the pay was 900 NAIRA, the detective just gave me 1,500 and said you are free to leave now, upon reaching the station gate, I heard a very loud gunshot gbosha gbosha gbosha 3ice, I looked back and I saw the woman arrested already dead on the floor...

Am just going to come out straight and say you are lying or very list embellished the truth.

i don cancel more dan 20 requests because of 1st manner of Approach.

dere was one i told on phone i cant come and pick You, d conversation goes thus;

Rider Harsh: Hello is that Uber?

me: Yes

Rider Harsh: You accepted my request, make it down here fast because i cannot wait

me: kindly cancel.the request because i cannot come ( d pick up is just few metres away and 1.8X surge)

after 5 mins, she called again

Rider harsh: but you just passed infront of my house, OYa please come am.waiting

me: I said even if You are offering me more money am not coming

i switch on My Taxify and i got a 2.0X request
after Anoda 5mins,

Rider harsh: I will report you to Uber

Me: I said if You need extra pen and paper i will gladly give it to You

rider Harsh: she sent a Text message dat " I know people like U are stupid"

i just responded dat " I love ur writing skills"... after like 1hr plus she cancelled ... i just dey laugh say next tym U will learn how to talk with manners.

Well done, simply the best way to treat idiots. The fact that they drive Uber/Taxify does not give you a right to be rude. We are all created equally, a fact that is missed by most people

That was close to my landing cost ..the reason was that the milage was 100k miles.. The lower the milage the higher the cost or value ... I gave it to my female driver... she dey enjoy am ..

I have to be honest when I saw you bought that car I was somewhat skeptical about it but with a cheaper landing cost which I think is quite possible, the maths make sense. Make I start my research grin grin grin grin

The business can't be profitable in Ibadan for now due to the lack of high profile companies in Ibadan, Lagos drivers are still struggling to survive in the business due to saturation of drivers in the e-hailing.

So unless there are high profile companies, there is no economy. Dude which business school teach you that one? the things you in particular contribute to this thread is at best laughable grin grin grin

With all due respect, if this is how the convo went, it's all shades of wrong. The customer is always a customer and he could have been better managed without literally shutting him down. My opinion.

Thanks, how on earth do you assume I should know where he his based? Is he god? Anyway This indeed is my last comment regarding this. I made a mistake bringing it it here.

No you are not God, you are an extremely emotional man. Click on his name and am sure it will give you details how to get to him better yet Google his name, it's how I found him when I needed his attention. Please keep personal issues away from social media.

Gravity of what statement exactly, that he his at liberty to insult my wife? Not girlfriend, my wife. Walahi if I catch you gazuz. Allah will receive you or both of us.

Now you are acting like a child. I don't agree with his comments about your wife but now you are getting a bit silly here. Fact is you know where he is based and not done anything, stop playing keyboard warrior here. You are in the so called Army does not make you above the law. The minute you brought your wife's experience with the Uber driver allowed all sort of people to comment. I don't agree with what he said, no doubt that was wrong but defend your wife's honour all you want and stop making empty threats.

when I say your vehicle type doesn't effect your rating or riders will not rate u based on your vehicle type some people argue ..

I like stats.. they say the obvious....not gamble

A brief history.... I gave a newbie here the chance to drive a 2008 Kia rio .. I wasn't truly eager to but he cut across as a good guy ...

Today he has been with same car for 4/5months and below is his rating ...

if you think corolla is every rider choice please THINK AGAIN

I wouldn't bother explaining if I were you, people can come online spit crap out of their mouths without evidence to back it up. I ordered a corolla to add to my cars last January, it arrived and I took one look at it and on the spot decided to sell it and added some money and ordered 2 Kia Rio, drivers are delivering with no issues. Experience is subjective and the fact they don't like Kia does not mean everyone shares the same view. This my friend is what they both failed to understand.... seriously what's next, you'll give a driver bad ratings because you don't like the colour of his car??

AS a rider if you bring that Kia to come pick me, I will rate you 1star. If you like chat me up nicely you deserve one star.

Kia rio is been phase out of Uber, drivers number one choice is corolla.

You can't blame any partner for getting a bad driver. Its always tough for a good driver to go rogue. Good driver will rather return the car in good condition to the partner and source for a better offer.

Exactly..... Leave him, let him keep talking and exposing himself. The perfect car and partner will soon reach out to him

Speaking of being an Uber driver, do you know that as a salary earner you could also be an Uber driver to earn some money on the side? It's so easy, all you would need is to get a clean car. And this is how it would work. When you are going to work in the morning, you get a customer going your way and they pay for it, especially if you work in office dominated areas like Lekki, Ikoyi, VI or Ikeja Axis. People usually go to places like that everyday so getting a customer on time is very easy.

Also, when you are leaving work, from your office you could get someone close by that is also going in your direction and voila, you have made N5,000 to N10,000 in a day.

If you don't have a car yet, don't worry, just visit www.pagefinancials.com to get a quick loan of up to N5,000,000.
And you won't even have to spend up to that to get a car and you can spread your repayment over 12 months.
It's that easy now.

Some people just like to talk crap!!!!
