The toxic comments are not directed at both OPs. I don't know how else to address someone that called the OP a witch for raising her concerns or the other bragging about using juju on his wife. As for the other guy I called out unprovoked, I have apologized and some comments already have been deleted.

Now to the OP (husband), EVERYTHING I had mentioned are things I would do 100% to make my home work if I were in his shoes. I would not sit back and expect my wife to accept or (as you have recommended) simply let love reign. If she decides to, then fair enough, but I would still ensure her contributions are appropriately refunded directly or indirectly.

The fact that he's been on that project before marriage is a pointer that these guys are probably not as wealthy as some people think. If he was that wealthy, why hasn't he completed the project even with his wife's contributions and despite engaging his father as the project manager? So the idea of building another project is simply an idea or wishful thinking - same thought we had when we were kids. I remember saying I was going to buy Lamborghini for my parents before age 30. I've crossed that age now and Lamborghini is still "cooking."

If God blesses them so much to do even more, of course, nobody will have to tell anybody what to do for his or her parents.

It is OK to be concerned about OP's parents. But on this case, I'm more concerned about the future of their marriage. The parents' issue as far as I'm concerned is secondary as they were never homeless. It's totally fine to let the parents have the new home after all no sensible child will forcefully evict his/her parents.

Well said...God bless you.

His parents should be concerned about their grand children's welfare should their son dies (God forbid).

And if for any reason a child dies, the other children should take responsibility.

And I hope his parents also built for his grandparent? (Perhaps that's why they have no home today?) Because una entitlement mentality on this forum, especially from men, stinks. I am actually feeling sorry for the women that will marry the majority of you. The tears will be too much.

Madam learns to respond to situations with the eyes of LOVE. I have been observing your responses both on the wife's post and here, they are too toxic.

I understand you're concern about the wife but as I said, if the wife could see things with the eyes of love, this issue won't be a discussion here or nairaland. The fact that her parent is contented and okay doesn't mean her inlaws should live in circumstances that make them feel ashamed, even though they are wrong in their approach. All fingers are not equal. Not everyone are born to rule and so was the life with our parent also.

The wife said the building in question has been ongoing way before he even got married to her, do you know if they have a stake in the house. Even if they don't, the man has been acting in the capacity of a Project manager and being in the real estate field, I know how much the charge of the father would be in percentage. So in another, they are the ones using the father. Unless you're saying the son has a right to send his father errands.

I know what my mum went through to see me become somebody in life. I would never allow any man to treat her anyhow and neither would I treat my husband family in such manner. Both the husband and wife @solatpumpkin LOVE is all you need here.

Like others have suggested, try and build a small place for them and move them there or reimburse your wife for the contribution she has made in building this house, then move on to build another. Please let love rule.

@OP, God bless you.
God bless your parent and their elderly age
God bless and keep your marriage.

Thank you

First I will want you to know that children see beyond the physical realm as their mind is yet to be occupied with this world corruptible issues/thought.

Secondly, I won't see it as mere coincidence because the baby was actually running for safety from your narrative, and not just disallowing her to carry her/him. It could be that she/he had seen something beyond our realm.

Thirdly, The response from your fiancee after she left looks suspicious. How can a small baby of below 1 year and who is not even related to you but your neighbour, separate a serious relationship. I suspect she had sensed it in the spirit realm that your spirit is no longer comfortable with her as a result of what the baby did.

My conclusion is that, If I were you, I will put all sentiment aside and make a spiritual enquiry from a TRUTHFUL spiritualist. Looking at the scenario you narrated, I will never go forward with the relationship without finding out. She might not be a witch but something definitely looks fishy from what you narrated, and even from her reactions.

Thanks.

I was shocked watching him say that on Arise TV myself and this kept me wondering if the President is still living. If not, how will a state Government not have access to the President? Who should have contacted the Governor first? He said the Minister of defence called on behalf of the President, Why?

The Presidency are hiding something.

Nope you are committing a fallacy of hasty generalization.

Firstly on Amotekun, the rejection by MURIC is strictly based on his personal conviction and not a reflection of the SW Muslims. We have countless Muslims that supported Amotekun and even lot of their foot soldiers are Muslims. So how exactly do you think Muslims oppose Amotekun?

Per the issue of politics and religion, you will be a hypocrite if you think Christians also don’t most times scream marginalization is a certain government is perceived to be skewed to a certain religion (Islam).

It’s really disturbing that you could think MURIC agitation is a representation of the SW Muslims. When have you heard of Muslims making noise even when 5 out of the 6 SW governors are Christians?

Please brother, we should all condemn MURIC as an organization and not try to see the Muslims in Prof. Akintola’s image.

I have always condemn Prof. Akintola on issue such as this on Nairaland.

See the below: here is where CAN accuses Aregbesola of Islam using Osun! Most of those things sometimes are more politically motivated than religious principles.

You have a strong mature mind.

I believe they are possessed with a very bitter entity(demon). This is life, someone will always offend you, the entity will make their life miserable and let them to be isolated and alone(can lead to serious depression and later on suicide). This entity can be inherited and also could have been attached to them due to activity they have carried out in the past, might be sex etc.

They are currently in a covenant with the entity(demon).

Solution : They need to live a holy life in other to block portals to any other entities. Then break the covenant, after, cast and bind the entity and anhilate. This can be carried out only through serious Fasting and Prayer (not a joke).

This is not religion, This is Spiritual Warfare.
Shalom.

That's a lie from the pit of hell.

I am a typical example of this and nothing like been demonic. I am a Bible believing child of the MOST HIGH IN CHRIST JESUS. Nothing like been demonic. It is the person's guardian angels working. They don't tolerate hurt for her. So I was told by my husband when he went to make a spiritual inquiry before we got married. They warned him to think deeply and ensure that he loves me before he goes into marriage with because my angels can't afford me been hurt that but if he loves me deeply he will enjoy the blessings of marriage.

In my own case, it even affected a strong believing pastor. Will you say a demon overcome a strong tongue praying my pastor?

But in addition to my own, I bring blessings to whoever I am close to and gives me joy but don't hurt me deeply. It is very dangerous.

My advice for the person is to work seriously on Love spirit than anger, she should accommodate peoples mistakes cos people will definitely hurt you. Since I learnt about myself, I don't allow things to get to me that people wonder if I do get angry at all.

So my bro/sis, what the poster is saying is very real and nothing close to been demonic.

It has nothing to do with Baba Adeboye or that others affected are of the devil but that God decided to honour the faithfulness of HIS children that the burning of the house might greatly affected. Hope this explains it all
Islam for Muslims / Re: Ruling On Sharing Cartoons on Social Media by Doctorflaky(f): 1:05pm On Jan 17, 2020

No offence to your beliefs and your religion but for the sake of others reading this and correcting wrong impression, I had no other choice but to accept the conditions for quoting. ANYWAY, what matter most is my heart towards God.

Please NOTE:

1) Christians never Literarily mean Jesus to be the MOST HIGH God HIMSELF, only that the spirit of The Living God was in HIM

2) (Psalms 82 vs 6: I said, "You are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High.) (John 10 vs 34: Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your law, 'I said, "You are gods" '?).

Some of the gods of this world were once human like us that lived a life of dominance over powers and authorities as given to them by God. These passages calling men gods doesn't literarily means the MOST HIGH GOD but each and every one of us has where will command authority as God has given us. Today we have different gods, some will say, God of thunder, fire, Iron etc, These gods were men that had control over those natures. Today, your gift might be healing, you're a god in that field.

Jesus was a half-man and spirit that commanded authority over darkness in the life of men. Also, He's a son of God that came to make all men children of God. A son of Lion is a lion, A son of God is a God, which is why Christian today says He's a God
(John 3 vs 16: "For God so loved the world that He gave HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life)

IMPORTANTLY:

3) The purpose for Jesus is to redeem all men's SPIRIT back to God (Not flesh). Bible says in John 4 vs 24: God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth". In the time of Adam and Eve, the communication with God was as a spirit to spirit but Sin separated him from God. The same way it is abnormal to see a dead spirit communicating with men as a normal life except for those gifted to do that, God communication with men/flesh is abnormal as GOD can stand flesh of sin. Jesus came to bring us (the relationship that Adam lost) close back to God.

I will rest here.

So my sister, JESUS is not the MOST HIGH GOD himself but HE IS GOD and as you've have read in Quran, He's coming back again to harvest souls that are HIS and you can only be HIS if you accept Him AS YOUR LORD AND PERSONAL SAVIOUR FROM THIS WORLD OF SIN TO GOD.

Above all, HE LOVES YOU regardless of who you are and he wants your soul saved.

Thank you.

Even at that, birthday celebration are not Christ like, but nothing but paganism.
You Christians are a very funny set of people.
You use the same mouth that you use in condemning paganism and the same mouth to praise and practice paganistic worship and you still say you are Christ followers.
If you are indeed christ followers, show us where he celebrated his birthday or any of his disciples in your Bible.
I know you can't, but you just follow. you desire and look for an ambiguous verse in your Bible to buttress it.
If this is not hypocrisy,I don't know what is.

Why do you people celebrate malud nabiy? Is it not Mohammed's birthday or what does the celebration connote?
