Dudes, thank God 4 nairaland, wz wit my fellowship assisting new Akokites 2 arrange their documents & wz shocked by lack of info from many people. One came 2 know if unilag hav release their post jamb result. One came from Ebonyi state without complete docs-no jamb result & adm. leta yet he said d only money he has is his T.fare. So many surprises. One girl could not even make one complete sentence, it took me 1hr 33minutes 2 tel her 2 write her name on d bak of her passport, yet she made merit list in a professional course. Na wa ooo, So many unbelievable surprises i saw 2day.

    People, prepare ur self /4 hand b'cos d securities were very hostile by my judgement. Botties, ur mum. dad & boy/girl friend aren't allowed 2 go in wit u like last year, ok? ask qustion when necessary. A guy bought 2 JAMB scratch and use both 2 print d same adm. letta without printing slip. When asked 2 go and buy anoda card 4 slip he said no money again. Of course he wz send home, though he wld com bak next wk monday. his explanation of coming from badagry cld nt even help him.

Some precautions; no reference leta, no reg.  
                             wit sec. skul testimonial only, u'll be attended 2. wit pri. skul's alone, no reg. if u've both betta but pri. skul testimonial is not compulsory
                             As of 2day witout Jamb adm. leta( i advised get everything now), u can b attended 2, but                                 without result slip, no reg. Print both on color.
                             Photocopy all doc in fours and staple.

@all i had 78 agg(economics) but ma name wasnt on d list,so i went to the admission officer's for economics,he showed me d list he compiled and ma name was d first on d list infact d second person on d list had 76,he told me dat d name was removed at the admission office in d senate.so i and a lecturer went there to check if it was a mistake and we were told dey removed it because i wrote account in my ume,but it is stated in jamb brochure dat unilag accepts mat,eng and econs wit any oda subject from art,science and social science but not commerce and classes in sec skul is divided into art, social science and science where does acc now fall into?not wantn to place all ma eggs in a basket i met anoda man not knowin d man's position is very high in d skul,wen he saw ma post jamb result he was very interestd in ma case,he said d combinatn is very okay(same tin dey said at d dept) dat it is either dey mistaknly omitd ma name frm d list or someone was doin somtn funny.he wantd to take me to d vc's office but d vc was not around but he promisd d vc was gonna hear about it.he then tuk me to d dvc's office.dey assured me dey were goin to rectify it dey even collectd ma num and all ma documents.am seriously prayn now 4 it to be resolvd.

2 c VC is strenuous my dear, if no better respond frm admission office on monday, go 2 5th floor 2 c d registrar(not his security or sec. 000000) He can b very nice if ur claim is real.

Accpt. fee is included in ur first fee. This is paid after registration, u wld know d exact amount during reg. as it will be pasted evrywhere.

@all don't ever giv ur money 2 anybody, Baba God is d answer oooooooo & wat would b would b, this is b'cos i saw a drama yester night. I met an 18yr old with nine securities, her father wz a former minister in Yar'dua adm. & now an ambassador. She came with a letter from her dad to d no. 1 citizen of UNILAG(hope u know who that is). She wz politely turn down. According 2 their explanation if she had score 41 in Post JAMB and 75 in diploma she would hav gotten any course she wanted, but with 39/74 respectively, nothing can b done, i can't loose my job, he politely concluded. O boy if person tel me i 4 no accept o, but i saw it with my 2 Unclad eyes, i stood there doom-founded!
  So, how about commoners like u & I, who know our papa. Na God oooooooo

yeah, very important, i guess it is to cheat age cheat, correlation btw your claim, pry sch entry and exit, for example a15yrs old claiming to be 16 and above  would hv entered pry @ age of 3yrs, pls play your game well and cover your footprint. For reference, addressed 2 registrar , all about your  attributes and for hw long your referee had known u, your suitability for admission, and not more than that.

Just like u had time-table 4 ur entrance exams so it will b schedule. It will be hanged @ d main gate & multipose hall on sat. if no changes is effected on d reg. date. Endeavor not 2 miss ur day, if u do d embarrassment is much, and attending  2u strenuous.


@all  Jamb slip should be original, contact us in Skool 4 d JAMB scratch cards & printing on d right format. Admission letter as well. JAMB office make it a long thing, but we simplify it 4 u.

       If u hav d card already & will b printing 4 urself plz enable background color on internet explorer(d prefer browser 4 it, i can advise don't use mozilla) & print it color not B&W. Don't waste 1k 4 nothing ooooo. D Admission letter portal  is not enabled yet, i think it wil b done after d admitting process is completely rounded up, Don't dabble with ur pin if u already hav d card, JAMB is not smiling,

oh my, have u 4gotten dis lecturers meet and give statistics of previous Diploma pass rate, thus, a yardstick to determining the number of Post-UTME intake. Why can they know?
    Some of us(myself as a case study ooooooo) posting here are too busy 2 b wasting our precious time on nairaland but one feel 4 dis guys, and when remember d priceless help received here while in d same shoe, one can't help but try to reciprocate in his own little way,

Great one, egbon. That's exactly my strategy too.

I am also doing Accounting job, though good paying, but I have never liked and still don't like accounting.

I do a lot of other things by the side, most not bringing income but satisfaction.

I know I enjoy writing, so I do writing as a hobby, analyse economic and political issues and send them for publication in newspapers. Though I don't make money from it, I have made name and contacts from it(I now relate one-on-one with top editors and a governor), a network that can be useful in the future.

That's how I have turned my hobby into my source of satisfaction while my quite boring accounting job gives settles my bills. And disinterested as I am in this Accounting thing, I wrote ICAN and qualified. Yet, it's still not my desired career path, just did it to boost my CV and diversify my experience.

Notwithstanding, you must do your current job with the required diligence.
