CAUSES

TYPES OF AUTISM

Aspergers syndrome.: this occur more in male, and this one is the type where a particular part of the brain is more developed than the others, some it might be art, some arithmetics, some would be well grounded in school works and these people could possibly pass as geniuses in their respective fields. 3. Retes syndrome : the third type that affect mostly female children, unlike the Aspergers, children here have deficit with no particular part of the brain well developed. And they usually have small heads, this starts occuring at age 5 of development

* Absence of smiling when greeted by parents and other familiar people

* Language delays and deviations

* Susceptibility to infections and febrile illnesses

* Absence of symbolic play


* Repititive and stereotypical play. (like arranging shoes in a particular order eg from smallest to the biggest, Repititive plays like throwing his first in a particular way for a long time or rocking his chair for a very long time without stopping, )

* Angle gazing ( she mentioned the fact that her child looks up at the ceiling for a long time and you'll be wondering why he is doing that)
