Lmao. Already said, it’ll be hard to market osinbajo without attacking Buhari.

He failed with Buhari. Should he turn out to be APC flag bearer, PDP would roast him with the horrible failure of this administration, he’d have nowhere to hide unless he’d attack and admit Buhari for the failure that he is.

He’s going to find it hard eating his cake and have it.

SHINJA:
What the people of Ebonyi need is good food and jobs not airports..How will airport help the poor people of Ebonyi state?

Instead of providing jobs for them you are busy building airport while most of the youths from Ebonyi state are busy hawking lacasera and gala by the road side of Lagos...

Won't the airport create jobs for the youths? Are you saying government should give them handouts rather than creating an enabling environment that would see to an increase in tourism and ultimately create jobs both within the airport and the state as a whole?

TV/Movies / Re: Chief Daddy 2 (Going For Broke)- Reviews And Ratings? by dROC1: 2:22pm On Jan 02, 2022
I thought I was the only one who noticed this movie. I've seen bad Nollywood movies but this one was unusually boring and annoying at the same time for a star studded movie.

I think it's time we got proper film critics in Nigeria as it obtains abroad, such that actors, producers and directors are held accountable for churning out poor content. Alas, naija will say it's enemies or bad belle people talking.

I guess most of the big names participated in the movie out of respect for Mo Abudu. I'm just glad RMD was not among this cast, as he would have stained his good name.

Falz's same wack song (which we had already heard in part 1) was repeated over 5 times in this movie, taking up valuable airtime as content filler. The same intentionally wack song performance was repeated at a concert, music video and several other times.

The sets, props, locations, videography and shots were top notch but the story lacked any form of direction till the end, making it pure trash in spite of the good aesthetics.

May rating?

2/10...(rotten tomatoes)

Myer:

Pere even had more votes than Angel.
That alone proves that he was the strongest contender second only to Whitemoney.

It's a show so may the best man win.
Whitemoney for the money.

There we 6 housemates up and the math shows that Whitemoney had 50% of the overall votes and Pere, 25%, while others shared the rest of the votes.

Friends and family of other housemates should not waste any money voting for their fave to win. The data trend resoundingly shows that Whitemoney wins this show next week.

Properties / Re: Buying A House Or Building From Scratch: Which Is Cheaper? by dROC1: 3:41pm On Dec 28, 2020
nextstep:
Many people say it's better to build, and I understand. Some of my friends have built - even moving in at 90% completion - but I want to offer a counter example.

I would say just buy the house now. You pay one price today, instead of paying an increasingly expensive chunk as time goes by. Let me explain:

In today's economy, building a house gets more expensive every week. The price you pay for cement, iron, and plank during foundation will be higher when you're doing lintel 3 months later. And higher still when you want to plaster. Plus if you're renting right now, you will be paying rent while building your house. Sure you can move in even if your building is not complete, but it won't be for 9 months to 1 year from now. So add rent as part of sunken cost.

Also, most people don't rationally add all the costs of building: digging borehole or well on site; buying water for construction; building fence and gate; sand for leveling compound; petrol you spend going to supervise; every single time you move materials to site, somebody will pay for transportation; architect designs; money for omonile and other hassles; even bamboo will cost;

If you hire a contractor or supervisor, you will pay. If you do it yourself, you're basically not paying yourself for your time and headache which you could be spending working.

Those who build for a living do it well and cheaper; those who build their own house often pay more than they realize, all things considered.

After 10years of omo onile wahala, documentation issues, approval issues, court cases, land confiscations, 419 builders, stolen electricals, stolen iron, stolen cement and a decking collapse....I decided to buy to my taste. It's better to buy, not just buy, but buy cheap. To be honest, after building my house years ago, I found better houses in far better locations, which were the same cost of what I built. Had I just saved up the money, I would have been in a far better location when the opportunity came.
However, buying is not for everyone. As someone said earlier there are three categories of finances that most appropriately fall into buying or building.

kolaaderin:

It's in 3 stages, You are at lease a survival in life to start building a house of your own. Below are the stages you can choose according to your status.
Survival
When you are a struggling survival, you build from scratch because it's cheaper if well supervised and you are not cheated on materials. Most people at this level waits months to months for every stage level of the building.

Arrival
When you get to a status in life, you buy a completed house to avoid stress of building one and stress of supervising the workforces. At this status, you can save enough millions to pay and owned your own house in one bulk payment. You don't have to think and worry yourself of how much profit the builder has added to the cost. You just buy and move in no questions.

The final stage
La cream de La cream
At this class, No mass builder can build your taste of home, the class and options you want can only be built on demand. You are back to building your own taste the way you want it. This type of houses are called monument and could cost in billions. You engage a supervisor or builder of reputation to build you a monument and they are really going to make a fortune of you !!!! smiley smiley You know what, you are the bullion van yourself at this stage too much money.

So my brother, find your class.

You're spot on.

Celebrities / Re: Laycon Gets A Two-Bedroom Apartment At Flourish Residences, Bodija Lagos by dROC1: 6:35am On Dec 17, 2020
This 2 bedroom apartment in Bogije "Lekki" isn't worth 25m as stated on the show. It has very poor finishing, in a grassy area and a bad location unfit for a celebrity of this magnitude.

By Revolution plus property's own admission at the price award show, they profitted greatly from the hype. The least they could do was provide a reasonably furnished apartment in a good location in actual lekki as better marketing for their brand next year. What I'm seeing is below standard and the barest minimum, which could not have cost 10m to build, considering the location and materials used.

BBN show organisers should do better from next year.

Romance / Re: Genotype Wants To Ruin Me, But I Am Fighting Back by dROC1: 7:03pm On Jan 11, 2020
10 years and I'm still in relationship limbo because of genotype. Wedding was cancelled because of genotype test. In hindsight, I would advise any couple who have found true love to go for PGS. This would be my biggest regret of the last decade, as it's been an uphill task finding a good AA woman amongst the limited women available now.

However, I believe I will find the right AA woman someday. Always ensure you check your genotype early and go for PGS if you can afford it, so you don't end up loveless and lose the love of your life like me. smiley

Hope this helps someone else.

The lady being assaulted is @obaebaecares on Instagram. She also runs a program called, " I need a spouse" on NTA. It would be quite sad, if proven to be true that someone who matchmakes singles and makes good money off it believes in snatching other women's husbands.

The incident occurred late in December and already gone viral on social media before the 4th of January.

It's about time someone wrote about this, how prostitution feuls the cab hailing industry and how it's taken over social media apps like badoo, inmessage and tinder like wildfire.

However, there's no supply without demand...blame yahoo boys and randy married men for feuling the industry.

It's abominable to beat your wife, it's even worse beating your wife in front of the kids. That's a terrible low, just go and commit suicide. That's scarring the kids for life and imprinting an indelible image in their minds, for which you will forever be remembered for.

I still cannot comprehend why women stay with men who beat them, perhaps that's why I'm still single in my old age.
