guys,

I submitted my application 17th april and got a mail today already (28 april) that a decision has been made on my application.

isn't it rather too fast?

my impression is, the earlier you get a response, the higher the tendencies of refusal. could that be true.

pls whats your takes on this?

regards,

Consolidated guys - consolidated breweries

NB has created quite a number of departments in sales.
When recruited, u will be deployed as deemed necessary by the company.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Nigerian Breweries Calling by Dunddy(m): 10:46pm On Oct 01, 2014
Will do.
My advice tho, don't keep all ur eggs in one basket. Try out other good coys.
Remain blessed.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Nigerian Breweries Calling by Dunddy(m): 8:14am On Sep 28, 2014
quite a lot of departments are being created in the sales team.
tendency is we would be needing more hands. so dont lose hope.
none of the consolidated guys will be fired unless found guilty of anything or highly inefficient.

ok, so ive been gone for so long that i couldnt remember my password. lmao. grin grin

im highly impressed by the continuous flow of this thread.

its a great honour to have won the 2011 poster of the year (thanks to all invaluable participants that made it possible...traez,, castano, episkopos, yemlevite, skydon, et al.

NB really is a great place to work, a great platform to grow and one of the best training grounds u can ever get around. Only the fit survive and are crowned.

for thosewho are in the system, u understand me better.

one this i must say to u, it take 2 things to grow on any line of ur choice career,
1. know ur job well enough
2. know ur manager well enough
endeavour to go by this rule and u have the sky as the starting point.

im just 3 years + on the job but the impact and effect pulled so far by Gods grace have been quite impressive.
so far this year i have trained at least 4 sets and training the 5th as u read. whereas u have not less than. 100 colleagues not chosen to do so. it is not my doing but by his grace.

truth is as we all say, u hardly have time, but work - life balance can be achieved.

we only need to be well organised and planned...that i have learnt and putting to practice.

if u are a believer, do what u must to join me here
read wide, fill urself with confidence, have a substantial knowledge of the company and brands, hone ur driving skills but first pass the initial aptitude t est.
ur calmness, short and succint response matters at d interview. be ready to talk about ur achievements relevant to d job. be brief tho unless probed further.

look at ur interviewers not with overconfidence but with the right suggestive gestures and body languages

u are there to sell urself, as a sales, u must prepare for objections. u ra new product entering the market, no one wants u unkess u prove u r good enough to serve there needs while also showing that u r durable and not leaving any time soon. NB needs committed staff that will work for at least 3 years, show that u wanna learn and grow through the ranks.

there are speculations that the last batch for the year may have been called up already but i believe otherwise. there is a benchmark for the sakes force in 2014 and im nit sure NB has reached just yet.

lets see how it goes.

like i always say,
let the best man get the job. kiss lipsrsealed

ive known better jor,
dshiznitplata: Hi House, how is everybody doing. Its been a while since I came here.. Never in my wildest dreams did I for once believe I will say this line; "I've been busy due to work"...but NB can make such a reality... Congrats to those who've entered the system.. Hopeful for those who still in the wait.. .. For dose who actually took the pain to read from Page 1 comment 1 and are appreciative of the owner of the thread, I've met the owner Dunddy in person...trust me..he really wasn't joking bout his lack of time...the job takes a toll on U..but its ur choice to channel it positively or negatively... ... ... Too bad I have to go now.. Big shout out to Dunddy..I told U I would do dis...
let the favoured man get the job angry

see u guys around later.

Hi all,
for those already in; how is the job like?
i hope you guys are faring well in the north.
was posted to the north also (in NB) for over a month. sokoto precisely.
i really feel for you guys - the distance plus bombing tendencies. but God will take care of you.
i expect that other batches should have been contacted by now. yeah?

ijeoma what's up nah?
your e-mail no dey go ooo.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Nigerian Breweries Calling by Dunddy(m): 4:10pm On Dec 28, 2011
hi guys,
sorry i've been outta here for some time.
the job is all about movements. always on the road.
anyways, i learnt that for those on hold, there is every possibility of joining in january.
a new set of test was conducted recently and you guys should be resuming together.
just put ur minds at rest but meanwhile, use your productive energies on something else than worry.
as for the number; i ve got no idea how many but i believe many more sales forces are needed given the just concluded project and acquisition of breweries.
you guys might also wanna get prepared for SABmiller. their plant is almost finished and im sure once production starts, there will be massive need for sales force.

cheers

Romance / Re: I Am In Love With Someone I Have Never Met. Is This Normal? by Dunddy(m): 10:33am On Dec 26, 2011
It could be an exciting feeling but before you conclude you are in love, meet with the guy physically. spend some time together. a lotta people can be cosmetic. show yourselves the real yous and mutually conclude.
Romance / Re: Would You Ever Forgive A Woman Who Does This To You? by Dunddy(m): 10:19am On Dec 26, 2011
this is business and shouldn't be mixed with family.

however, i think its best for the man to have his home outside the house while the woman get a tenant who is not her husband into the house.

question: if the man defaults, would the wife throw him out? LWKMD
Romance / Re: Do Women Really Love Tall Guys? by Dunddy(m): 9:48am On Dec 26, 2011
hmmmm so sad.

i guess someone of my stature (5.5" and slim) may as well forget about having a lady.
but come to think of it, i have never at one time dated and girl of my height or shorter. they have always been much taller (min of 5.6").

truth is, height is just a minute factor of what turns a girl on (IMO as ive seen). a lotta other things come into play.
height takes just about 5-10% of total outlook. the rest is composed of facial beauty, body build, charisma/ attitude, dressing, confidence/composure, intelligence, humour, romance, ambitions, temperament e.t.c.

having a good height is good but not necessarily a sole source of attraction.
Celebrities / Denrele by Dunddy(m): 7:50pm On Sep 20, 2011
Does anyone here knows denrele's height? It's becoming a heated argument here and bets are flowing in. Make my guy no go lose in BB o.

however, those that did today could as well tell us what went on at the assessment centre. im sure we'd all gain from it.

whether dem send the mail or not oooo, we dey resume togeda come monday. cool me nor go wait ooo!
in fact, i dropped my resignation last friday lipsrsealed and have my baggage packed already, na say make the umpire shoot the gun maaa run. but honestly, the bestseller movie being shot by NB is so very suspense - filled ooooo grin grin

@ Lasgidi: what exactly did she say that you are inferring from? as far as i heard, she never stated sending us an e mail; it was konu who said so and even when she did she said "maybe, we will send you guys the soft copies of your letters on thursday, then you can pick up the hard copy". Konu also said, we will be resuming 1st of August but Kemi just said, 1st week of August. there seems to be inadequate communication in between as i see it. but all in all, this week na this week. cool

yemlevite maybe someone should call kemi! but who go come bell cat nah?! grin
