Dumb point...

You don't use a social media copy to prepare a defence.

We are in Nigeria and we know how the system works.

Only a fool would use that copy to work.

You think we are in nursery school here?

Can you imagine a scenario where a naive lawyer prepares a defence on the internet copy of for the true copy to emerge like 3 days to the deadline with what may look like minor alterations but have definitive legal implications?

Then the lawyer would then fall into a well-laid landmine.

This thing is no for small children, ogbeni...

I guess the point is lost on you. I deliberately showed you the screenshot of the page showing that the copy was obatined from the court after going through the process including payment of the fees. If his lawyers had done that, they will not be denied a copy. And if they are concerned about receiving it late, they can still have a head start with the copy obtained by that legal firm and start preparing thier appeal pending when they will receive thier own copy, it's called being proactive. Now who's the "dumb" one?

I’m sorry my friend. Naija license can never be in that category.

Maybe in the next 100 years sha grin
You are wrong. The fact that they even value our license is a good sign. Once we get our testing process in right and the necessary agreements in place, all should be good. I believe in Canada, you can skip some steps if you hold a valid Nigeria driving license.
Let's not be quick to rubbish our own and expect others to respect us.

Probably the same reason why you can't swap a US driving license for a UK one. grin

This is not true. PSW takes average of 6 weeks decision time. Haven't heard of anyone who applied and got decision in a week not to talk of 24 hrs
Just a general advice to you. If you have not experienced something, especially things that are not out of the ordinary, please be slow to conclude that it is not true.

We all go de alright las las.

Won't it be nice if the HO or any government agency cracks down on these people taking advantage of innocent immigrants?
We complain that things are bad in Nigeria yet it's this same attitude of covering up for others that, largely, led us to where we are today. If you ask me, I'll say keep reporting them until they all go out of business.

Does this attract the cash withdrawal fees as well?

He did
Reading that does not suggest in anyway that he linked the guy's death to religion. He meant religion can keep people sane and suggested that he would have had better grip on things had he remained religious. He mentioned in the first few senteces that he joine a certain movement which encouraged him to end his life.
Now we may or may not agree with that assertion especially given the fact that the version of christianity practiced in Nigeria (And Islam) is largely the fake one. A lot of what we learned was not properly taught to us and we refused to study the scriptures with an open mind.

Engr Musa is a very intelligent and kind man. Made me want to become a lecturer. His style of teaching is simple and down to earth. He would buy textbooks for us when he travelled abroad and will also print handouts for students for free. He made Electromagnetic fields and waves easier for us. God bless Baba.

CRYPTICALLY
Convert to USDT......send the log in to your benefactor or save it...then you can always convert on yellow card or sell on binance or to reliable vendors like myself on Paxful.
Enough said.

No contrarily it isn't prone to such if you stick to only USDT for the transfers /transactions..it's a stable with no proneness to heart palpitations.
Unless the funds in question is not to be converted to Naira as you purported.
USDT = USD in value.

Wittyness
Binance can lock your funds if it's beyond a certain amount until you provide source of funds. It can take a few weeks to resolve. Never heard of yellow card, please send link.
But generally, converting to naira via crypto isn't too difficult. In fact I dread converting to pounds using p2p than to naira.

You don't seem to understand what a "link" is

It's different from "referral"

wink
I believe I know exactly what you mean. In Nigeria it is called "Man know man". If that is not what you mean, then please let me know. I am happy to learn.
Man know man is the easiet way to get a job here. In fact I have been referred for sevral jobs which I ended up not getting.

Indeed?

It's the UK, no need for links
Just like in Nigeria but in the UK, having a link is the fastest way to get a job. Seen it several times in places I have worked. Some companies even encourage it, to reduce recruitment cost.

Or Germany and Netherlands, the trick to Netherlands is to apply for jobs directly from the UK.
Good idea. And I heard The Netherlands has a tax rebate scheme for skilled migrants where they pay less tax for a few years before moving to the normal tax band.

Bros they said africa was once the most civilized place lol abeg dead the matter for them. They call hunting lion with spear civilization or building groundnut pyramids. Lol abeg make we leave matter

People who are dying to be citizen of the same race they say havent done anything special.

They should ask themself why exactly they are dying to be the citizen of the race they claimed has not done anything special.

Do u know what it means to spend millions just to be the citizen of another race, and u claim the race is not special lol

Some one sent link of people inventing potato chips. Lol.

I looked at the list and the top three are blacks from europe or america i dint even bother looking at the list again.

Another person said because monzo or llyods dont send pdf it means they are not advanced. So u think if llyods wants to send you pdf they cant? Pdf o. Lol.

We are stating facts they are saying we are putting our race down.

For good 60 years we cant achieve steady power supply 60 good years. Haba. Rccg generates its own power oyedepo does the same why cant a country have steady light basic amenity.

Postal system is in shambles
Rail system in shambles.
National stadium in shambles.
And u r saying we are putting our race down.

We dey talk fact some ppl dey vex

See our national airport
Looks like a bakery no system in place
No automation
No organization
Nothing
Nothing to write home about
How can you become citizen of a race? You forget that civilisation is incremental. What you see today was mostly built on concepts from the past. But enjoy your new "race". I am surpriced you are stil fratenising with us - "the uncivilised black race"

Abeg enough with emotion, facts dont care about emotion, what is 'some' compared to 'most'

If some invention were by black race, then most were by white race.

We talking of most u talking of some.
Na some we wan chop.

If we had it going why then are u killing yourself to live in their land and be a citizen of their land

Abeg call a spade a spade

Even the some u r talking about arent citizen of africa nation they are blacks whom were born there
This thread has been turned to a "black race" bashing thread. Truely if people do not know theier history then they are lost. Imagine when Africa was the shining light of civilisation, if the caucasians who came and saw the level of development and "technology" simply sat back and said their race was inferior to the black race, perhaps they will be in a similar situation like we are in now. STOP LOOKING DOWN ON THE BLACK RACE. If you feel inferior, please speak for yourself and stop generalising. Thank you.

I don't think this is true. The FRSC issued license carries more weight that the "international driving license".

Saw this on a platform I am a member of. I have not fully reviewed it but it holds some valid information.

Major UK employers who sponsor work visas often start hiring candidates one year in advance. As some companies have started their 2024 recruitment season, we have created this essential guide for students and graduates in and outside the UK to help them better prepare for their job applicants.

Key information:

Employment Start Dates:
There will be January, Spring(March/April), Autumn(September/August) and December start dates in 2024. Most companies will only have Autumn start dates.

Recruitment Start Dates:
For those 2024 employment start dates, employers start hiring from June 2023 onwards. Some companies have already started hiring for 2024. In order to apply, type "2024" in the search box here.

Eligibility:
For graduate programmes, students and graduates who have already graduated or will be graduating before the start date of the programme will be eligible to apply. For example, if you are applying for a graduate job that starts on 25 September 2024, you must have completed your courses before 25 September 2024.

For off-cycle internships, recent graduates or students who are in the university but want to have a gap year are eligible to apply. It is important to note that many off-cycle internships do not accept applicants based outside the UK.

For internships and placements, you often need to be in the penultimate of your university in the UK. It is important to check the requirements on the job description.

When to Apply:
You should start applying for jobs as soon as they become available to avoid disappointments. You do not have to be in the UK to apply for many jobs. For example, if you are coming to the UK to do a master's degree in September, you can start applying for jobs without starting your course.

Some investment banks, professional services firms and engineering companies have started hiring for 2024 entries.

1). If I state in her application that she will stay for 30 days in her first visit but ends up spending 5 months at a stretch, don't you think it will impact her next renewal?

2). On the other hand, if I state in her application that she will spend 5 months, don't you think it will look like she wants to settle in the UK?

It shouldn't but then there is also no harm in estimating a more accurate duration.

I just make sure I follow the guidelines. First was to stay for around 4 months, she ended up staying for 5months +. Renewed and stayed for about 5 months. Subsequent one was 2years visa which she used twice. Can't remember how long each visit lasted.

How long does she stay back home before coming back again?
In our case, it wasn't strictly for childcare but we also had other grandparents come around. so it was roughly 1year to 18 months wait.

Hi, please did you state that she was going to stay for 5 months in your application?
I think I stated around 3 or 4 months in the first application, she spent just over 5 months. In subsequent applications, I have stated duration as 4 or 5 months. Again your situation will determine how you structure your application
