Religion / Re: Kenneth Copeland Use His Blood for Holy Communion. by eddy1977(m): 1:47am On Mar 25
@OP,
While I'm a staunch critic of Copeland and his theatrical display of tomfoolery, the video in question appears to be selectively edited and lacks context, which could unfairly portray him.
It's widely acknowledged that Copeland is a seasoned charlatan, often regarded as one of the most despicable figures on Christian television. The demonstration in the video seems to reference EW Kenyon's "Blood Covenant," which discusses the significance of blood covenants among various ethnic groups, including ancient Semitic and African tribes.

Despite my personal disapproval of Copeland's methods, it's important to approach such accusations with objectivity and not contribute to potential defamation.

@OP.
Please enlighten me: when you say "last day"; what are you referring to?
Last days of mankind, last days of planet earth, last days of the milky way, last days of Judaism, last days of Christianity.....

Last days sounds very ubiquitous to me.

Thanks.

Ok, in other words, God is pro West.
This makes alot of sense now.
God is on the side of the United States.
He is also against Russia, China, Iran and North Korea.
God's politics are in line with CNN and Fox news.

This is wonderful.

Porksupplyib:

The book of 1tim 2:1-2.
" intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty."

This was the word of Paul.
Now I believe you remember how much persecution Paul suffered. Despite praying for heads of all these nations.
How he was imprisoned over and over again until his execution in Rome. Or have we forgotten the persecutions of the early christians.
Yes we are enjoined to pray for the heads of the nations and people in authority, but that
does not mean a christian would be free of persecutions.

Jesus Christ did not promise any Christian a life free of persecutions.
Yes you may pray, but expect the persecutions.

Let's Read Matt 10: from verse 16 down to 23

16, I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. 17 Be on your guard; you will be handed over to the local councils and be flogged in the synagogues. 18 On my account you will be brought before governors and kings as witnesses to them and to the Gentiles. 19 But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, 20 for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

21 “Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. 22 You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 23 When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

Emphasis on verse 23. If you are persecuted in one place, flee to another.
That is the word of Christ himself.

The issue we have now is that we have redesigned the words of the bible to suit our fleshy desire. We have re-tuned Christianity to mean "sweet peaceful alluring rich life" free from adversaries and troubles.
Forgetting the words of Christ in John 16:33
"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Understood.
Thanks

Finally, why is it that your deductions reflects perfectly the philosophies of Neitzsche and David Hume; these men basically said: evil is good and God can go to he'll.

Just an observation.

Again, for the most part, I loved your posts. More than 89% of your insights resonated with me and I agreed with you in those points.
Religion / Re: Why You Shouldn't Be Surprised All Political Prophecies Failed. by eddy1977(m): 2:37pm On May 29, 2023
Another observation:
If Satan ( whatever that means) is the ruler of this world, and he masterminds it as he wills;
Then why did the risen Christ say: all power in heaven and earth and under the earth has been given unto me?
Why did Our Christ also say: The prince of this world has been judged?
Why does The New Testament say in Colossians that Christ triumphed over principalities and dominions on the cross?

Is Satan just an excuse for our lack of responsibility and accountability?
Religion / Re: Why You Shouldn't Be Surprised All Political Prophecies Failed. by eddy1977(m): 2:32pm On May 29, 2023
@OP
I have to admit that your insights were very excellent and your Observations made alot of of sense. You warmed my heart with your philosophy.
However I see a few issues with your theological deductions.
For instance, when you say that prayer in Ukraine or North Korea, will have no impact on the political scenes of these nations.
If prayers have no impact on the political climates of our countries, then why did the New Testament instruct us in Timothy to pray for those who in power. The new testament teaches us that prayer can induce peace in the nation.

What do you say Sir/Madam?

Thanks

This is how africans make themselves a subject of unwarranted RACISM.

Why is it that when european nations are good at sth, africans will ask this type of question: Why is a black not there?
Africans should develop themselves to be a better continent and not shouting RACISM.

Where were you when Europeans were developing their national teams themselves?

True talk.

Today, most of us are in churches following bishops and men of gods while other people are developing themselves in sciences.
Our futur looks very bleak unless the so called church raptured occurs.

Travel / Re: How Easy Is It For An English Speaker To Get Jobs In France by eddy1977(m): 10:47pm On Feb 17, 2022
GoodIsGod:
Dear Nairalanders. I am married to a French Lady from a Francophone African country. She and the kids left for France years back.
Presently, I am planning to relocate to France to join them but I am worried because I don't speak french. I don't want to take my wife's word for it because she might reply me out of emotion. I want to hear from neutral minds.

How easy is it to get a job in France for an English speaker. I wouldn't want to get there and be jobless and then be a liability to anyone.

Please are there Nairalanders in France who don't speak French? How are you managing? Thanks

Take your wife's word Bro.

You should try to go to better countries from Ukraine instead of going back to Nigeria. Some countries are meant to be a spring board instead of a final destination but the problem is, people like you op, act like you've arrived instead of laying low and finding out other means to move to better countries from there. That's most likely the reason why you are afraid of what people will say if you go back to Nigeria

Too much emotional comments.
The question to ask is: what was He doing in the area?
The humanitarian aid was just a cover up for his usual traffic with the rebels.
The governor, the internal affairs minister and the police were not aware of his trip. He had sneaked in the area to meet the militia.

We are talking about an Italian mafia man.

I am Congolese and have zero sympathy for the foreigners who arm militia groups and steal minerals in my country.

By the way, the UN has well over 17 thousands soldiers in the DRC, most of which are stationed where this thief was killed.

The blood of my people is crying against these thieves.
