This type of Hyena is the one that almost made it to the lion king position but it's ambitiousness made the lion king to banish him. This Hyena has a lot food stored in various places but the only thing that will give it satisfaction is when he is finally called a lion king himself, even if for only one day.

This one is the type of Hyena that would convince all the animals to migrate to the desert so as to find water during drought. Anything out of the mouth of this Hyena is deadly.

This type of Hyena is the one who has been driven away from their original Kingdoms. They move to a new kingdom and deceive their new brethren into believing that they are vegetarians. This type of Hyena keeps falling on good fortune for unknown reasons.

This type is the smallest one in the pack. He would always cling to the Lion King but eat the dying Lion while it is still breathing after a more powerful Lion overthrows the king in a Fatal clash.

Politics / History: Akintola Died, "Death Of A True Warrior". Guns Blazing Like Scar Face by edoyad(m): 9:34am On Jul 10, 2017
I heard this story a long time ago but have never run into material supporting it tillnnow. It is said that when the soldiers came for Samuel Ladoke Akintola, the bad Ass cocked his gun and kept about 50 of them running for their lives like Scar face. You have to understand that was the 60s just to put it into context. I've always wondered why history leaves out such stories when the movie industry can benefit from it.
Akintolas story is in bold, contrast his case to FFK's dad grin , Kayode was forming tough guy before then. You have to hand it to Akintola, even modern day hard men would have surrendered weeping.

If the violence, the rapes, house burning, lynchings, intimidation of opposition lecturers, election rigging and all other woes that had engulfed the Western Region had a face, it was that of the 44-year-old Remilekun Fani-Kayode, a Cambridge-educated lawyer who presided over the government thugs infrastructure. From 1959, he was a pro-Zik NCNC politician before Akintola poached him in 1962 and made him the Minister of Local Government and Deputy Premier of the most advanced Region in the country. According to Nwobosi, they were surprised that Fani-Kayode’s thugs quickly ran away because it contradicted the legendary stories of Fani Power they had heard. They were rather prepared for a confrontational showdown.“Fani-Kayode! Come down you are under lawful arrest by the army” Nwobosi shouted.

He said lawful because the forged signal issued in the name of Brigadier Zakariya Maimalari stated Fani Kayode’s arrest as one of their objectives. “I am coming. I am coming; don’t shoot.” Fani-Kayode was reported to have responded from upstairs. He did not move. Nwobosi called out again. But Fani-Kayode did not move. Nwobosi then fired his gun into the ground as a warning. When their target did not bulge, they broke a glass panel in the door to gain entrance and started ransacking the house and intermittently shooting. The children were terrified and weeping. They found Fani-Kayode in his bedroom with his hands already upstretched like twin towers above his uncombed high hair.“I surrender…I surrender…I surrender…” he chanted repeatedly already drenched in fear.
[

They tied him with rifle slings in front of his wife and 3 children and tossed him in the 3 tonner. His wife picked up the phone and called the Premier,Samuel Ladoke Akintola to report the arrest. Akintola tried to calm her down and assured her that he would get him released as soon as possible. It never occurred to him the soldiers could be coming for him too until he heard the convoy and saw the headlamps. He grabbed his gun and gathered ammunition. That night of nights, of all those fell by bullets all over the country, Akintola was the only one who died the death of a true warrior. He was not interested in the Akintola-you-are-under-arrest noises he was hearing from outside. He cocked his Sub Machine Gun and began to blaze furiously as Nwobosi and his men tried to open his bedroom door.Several times from the 3 Tonner, Fani-Kayode called out to Akintola to cease firing; that the soldiers only came to take him to Lagos. Instead, Akintola continued to blaze his gun at Nwobosi’s men even though he never successfully hit anyone. They had fled the house and ducked behind the garden shrubs.

Justice Kayode Eso who was a neighbour described the relentless shooting as sounding like the crackle of rapid bush bushing. Akintola then ran out of ammo but Nwobosi and his men did not know this, they thought he was reloading and waiting for them. After a while, Aare Akintola held out a white handkerchief of surrender and proceeded to his balcony with his hands up. Nwobosi and his men proceeded to end him. When Akintola’s wife saw his lifeless body surrounded by empty casings drenched in blood, she screamed. In less than three months, she had lost her husband and first child, Modele Odunjo to the Western region crisis

Politics / "You Know Those Sponsoring IPOB But Don't Know Boko Haram Sponsors" by edoyad(m): 6:39am On Jul 10, 2017

they are doing soBy Chijioke Jannah on July 9, 2017

A member of the National Executive Council of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Mohammed Abdulrahman has claimed irresponsible political elites from the South-East are those sponsoring the on-going agitation for an independent state of Biafra.

He said their real motive is to blackmail the rest of Nigeria into surrendering the Presidency to the Igbos in 2019.

Abdulrahman stated this while speaking in an interview with the PUNCH.

The Arewa chieftain maintained that the sovereignty or unity of Nigeria is not negotiable. Hence, the Igbos support for Nnamdi Kanu whom he described as hooligans, should look for a better approach into the mainstream of Nigeria’s political space.

He said: “I don’t think the sovereignty or unity of this country is negotiable. Every time there is agitation by a section of the country or a group of people, I don’t think we should bring up the issue of whether Nigeria should remain one united country or not.

“As a people, no matter our differences, we have become united in our diversity. It is only natural for issues of disagreement to come up from time to time.

“Having said that, we must understand that there is a fundamental reason we are all made to be part of this great country called Nigeria.

“To my mind, the people agitating for independence or break-up of the country are illiterates and are misinformed. They don’t understand the realities of the time. It is my conviction that Nnamdi Kanu is being sponsored by some irresponsible political elites. They are the ones egging him on.
“But to what end?

“Let me tell you, the Igbo are only trying to be relevant; they are only trying to get back into Nigeria’s mainstream political space. There is nothing more to that. Among such efforts to get back into the mainstream is to have the presidency.

“What I see that Nnamdi Kanu and his Igbo ilk are doing is to blackmail Nigeria into submitting the presidency to them.

“The question I will ask them is: Can you have this presidency by blackmail? You need to examine their logic very well and you can discern their real motive concerning this issue.

“At a point, the Igbo said they wanted the presidency and now they are saying they don’t want to be part of Nigeria. How can they want or have the presidency when they don’t want to be part of the country? They want one of their own to be president they call a zoo? Is that reasonable? Or, does that show sincerity?

“I think the way they have been going about their agitation is irresponsible.

“Their tactics are wrong and crude. I think Igbo hooligans are behind current agitation for an independent state of Biafra.”

How market

Is fine o my brother. Just cupped another brother for 50 mils. Meanwhile the other teams in PL are busy signing and making deals like rush hour in the stock market.
However, in some useless places where there is only one type of movement, which is from the 17 feeder teams to the Mother ship, it's business as usual.

Donald Trump
President Donald Trump is struggling to convince Americans that he's the right man for the job, enduring record low popularity ratings during his first few months in office. The annual Pew Research Center survey on global attitudes to the U.S. and its president, published on June 26, made for grim reading for Trump. Across the 37 countries surveyed, a median of just 22 per cent had confidence in Trump to do the right thing in international affairs.

Comparably, Trump's predecessor Barack Obama scored a median of 64 per cent towards the end of his second term. But in a few countries, Trump seemed to be at least as popular as his predecessor--if not more. One of those countries was Nigeria, the West African nation of 180 million people.

Of the six sub-Saharan African nations surveyed by Pew, Nigeria was the most confident, at 58 per cent, that President Trump would do the right thing in world affairs. This figure was actually the joint-second highest overall--level with Vietnam and behind the Philippines as 69 per cent--and Nigerians expressed more faith in Trump than in Germany's Angela Merkel, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian leader Vladimir Putin. More than half of Nigerians said relations between the two countries would improve under Trump, while 55 per cent of Nigerian respondents thought of Trump as "caring about ordinary people"--the highest among all the countries surveyed. By contrast, 23 per cent of Canadians expressed the same sentiment.

Nigeria is an extremely diverse country, home to more than 200 ethnicities and a roughly equal split between Christians and Muslims, so it is unlikely that the survey is representative of all Nigerians. Some of the views varied according to their faith: around 70 per cent of Christians in Nigeria expressed confidence in Trump's international leadership abilities, compared to 46 per cent of Nigerian Muslims.

But on the whole, Trump seems to be viewed positively in Nigeria. Why might that be?

Nigerians Like a Strongman Leader
Trump's regular use of executive orders and flagrant disregard for international condemnation--exemplified in his decision to pull the U.S. out of the Paris climate accords--has already evoked comparisons with archetypal African leaders, including one by South African comic and Daily Show host Trevor Noah.

Trump is Willing to Sell Nigeria Weapons

Nigeria has been trying to buy attack helicopters from the U.S. since 2015 to expand its air capacity in the fight against Boko Haram. But under Obama, Washington demurred: The Nigerian military have a questionable human rights record and, when a sale looked imminent in early 2017, the country's air force mistakenly bombed a refugee settlement in northeast Nigeria, killing more than 100 people.

President Buhari is one of the few African leaders to have spoken by phone with Trump. During the conversation in February, Trump "expressed support for the sale of aircraft from the United States to support Nigeria's fight against Boko Haram". While there is no indication the sale has gone through yet, the change in tone would have been welcomed in Abuja, Nigeria's capital.

Secessionists Believe Trump Backs Their Cause

An anomaly in Nigeria's favorable view of Trump is the pro-Biafra movement, which campaigns for secession from Nigeria for a region known as Biafra. The region, in southeast Nigeria, was the subject of a three-year civil war from 1967-1970 after Biafrans declared independence; more than 1 million people died in the conflict.

Pro-Biafran activists lauded Trump's election victory in November 2016; the wife of Nnamdi Kanu, a leading figure in the secessionist movement, told Newsweek at the time that Trump would "uphold the self-determination rights of the indigenous people of Biafra". In January, Nigerian police disrupted a rally after hundreds of pro-Biafra activists gathered in southeast Nigeria to celebrate Trump's inauguration.

I just laugh at people who don't even know the content of the confab report are shouting implement it

How will 18 more state be our problem ?? ...which means 18*250 special advice's ....18*30 state Assembly members to earn jumbo salaries
18*30 commissioners ...

As far as am concerned we don't need more than 6 states ...but the six state should be redrawn and drown well ...igbos and Igbo groups of south south should be moved to the south east ...Yoruba's in kogi and kwara should be moved to the south west

Taraba, southern Kaduna, gombe, bronu, bauchi should be added to the middle belt ...Muslim part of Niger state should be added to the north west

We run too much of an expensive government ...

Remove the issue of state of origin but place of birth should replace it

Do you think the confab was only about states creation ? I don't think many people even support the creation of states that would not be viable.
The confab talked a lot on control of resources and many other aspects.

Even if he can afford it, it is against the law for a sitting executive to make such a purchase

The code of conduct law expressly prohibits certain public officials from operating bank accounts in any country outside Nigeria. These include the President, Vice President, governor, deputy governor, ministers, commissioners, members of the National Assembly and the Houses of Assembly of the States.

Actually, is a very bad situation if this is true.

That's about N300m for God's sake.

But why the malicious reference to the vaccine issue?

Just 2 months ago, RSUST was closed down because the students couldnt pay school fees totalling about N800 even though Rivers State govt had set aside N1.2b for Rivers State birthday.

Can't you remember this was the same fraudster that claimed that his people were getting meningitis because of fornication they were committing.

The Zamfara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari, on Tuesday attributed the renewed outbreak of meningitis which has claimed hundreds of lives in parts of the country to flagrant disobedience to God.

Specifically, he said fornication was the main reason God was punishing Nigeria with meningitis.

He added that God decided to send Type C of the disease which has no vaccine as punishment for Nigerians’ nefarious activities.

Yari said this in an interview he granted in Hausa shortly after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
