A client in the oil and gas sector needs
the service of Process engineers. the
desirable candidate should have
experience in the oil and gas or related
sector. REQUIREMENTS: The Process Engineers shall be
responsible for the following: - 1. Process configuration, optimization
and feasibility studies
- 2. Preparation of design basis and
philosophy documents (safeguarding,
shutdown, relief & blow down,
isolation & maintenance) - 3. Process modelling and simulation of
refinery/petrochemical operations
- 4. Preparation of PFDs and heat and
mass balances
- 5. Sizing and specification of major
process equipment - 6. Safety, environmental and
operability reviews (HAZOP, ENVID, SIL)
- 7. P&ID development, including
selection of design conditions,
hydraulic
analysis, line sizing and pipe specifications, equipment isolation, vent
and drain systems, cause and effects.
- 8. Knowledge if relief system design,
including PSV sizing, flare
hydraulics and radiation analysis is an
added advantage. NOTE: ITEMS 1,3,4,5, & 7 in the above
ARE MANDATORY. The successful Process Engineers
should possess the following skills: -1. BSc/MSc in Chemical Engineering
-2. Minimum 2 – 5 years’ experience in
Oil & Gas Processing, Refining
and/or Petrochemicals
-3. Process simulation Hysys/Aspen.
PRO/II, PROMAX,Flarenet, Flaresim Intermediate (minimum) are added
advantages.
- 4. Mathematical modelling tools:
Matlab, GAMS
- 5. Refinery configurations and
operations (CDU, VDU, FCC, Coker, Isomers…etc).
- 6. Engineering Work Processes Inter
discipline coordination, change
management
- 7. Industry Codes and Standards
Knowledge of API 520, 521, 526, 527, 2000
- 8. Leadership: Manages small team of
process engineers
- 9. Project reporting Progress and
schedule reporting
- 10. Very good analytical skills. NOTE: items 1,2,3,4,5, 9,10 are MUST * Candidates should be ready to
demonstrate their knowledge in
process
modelling and simulation and other
areas of responsibilities and skills

ziccoit: If I had not had full awareness of what it takes to make a scientific breakthrough claim, I would have joined the people here to crucify the University Authority. There are finely laid down rules and regulations guiding every steps of way towards such proclamation. Prof was so wrong to have disregarded the norms and let emotion overtook his reasoning powers. Now that he realises this, he is taking steps backward to correction.

What will happen next depends on authenticity of his initial claims. Expect a resubmission via a proper channel very soon if he actually was saying the truth. No one sleeps calm with such a discovery in his memory.

He has conduncted test on about 5 specimens...all are sero-negative,..except 1 that is slightly positive.! Said it took about about seven months for each of the specimens to attain that status.! He said he has not concluded his research yet.! He did not even make any medical publications on it.! He only addressed press men on the progress of his research...in a bid to seek support from the nigerian people.! Get your facts right!!... He never said he has found a cure.!
