Culture / Re: "Igbo" is to "Yoruba". "Ibo" is to "Yorooba" by Felibaby(f): 8:44am On May 10, 2011
To start with, what does it matter if you are called ibo or yorooba or awusa as long as you know what the person saying it is refering to.
Its annoying to know what some people like the posters and all others that are spewing rubbish here found to be offensive.
The poster is just a senseless idiot showing how tribalistic  and immatured he is.
Celebrities / Re: As A Christian Can U Marry A Moslem by Felibaby(f): 3:00pm On May 03, 2011
@ Poster

Personally, I wont marry a muslim and its just because i believe i should not be unequally yoked with an unbeliever. I want somebody that we share the same religious values.
Also, i have seen Xtian ladies get married to a Muslim Man but it is in only exceptional cases that you see a muslim lady marrying a Xtian guy because its always tough to get parental consent from the ladies family. It is easy on the guy because the believe is that it is the lady that is joning the family, hence she will have to conform with the rules and tradition of her husband.

All i can say is choose wisely and prayerfully.

Come On Nigerians, Why do we like being hypocrites to justify trash. Many of those people looking like children are actually above 18years of age. Even in the SW, SE, and SS many underage people register and vote. HOW CAN YOU TELL? The same way you claim you are 25 when you are actually 35 to get that bank job.

The main issue of rigging in this election is multiple thumb printing and this was massively done in the SE and SS. Lets call a spade a spade. This election was not FREE nor FAIR and thus should be CANCELLED.

Look at your stinking mouth or is it the dirty fingers you used in typing.
Go and cancel the election. Odenson tongue

Romance / Re: Career And Independent Women. by Felibaby(f): 12:29pm On Apr 15, 2011
It depends on the understanding between couple and the man must also be one without inferiority complex.

I earn 5x of my husband salary ( his salary is over a hundred grand) and money has never been an issue.
I always think from the perspective that God gave me the job because of him so i can be able to help with expenses and not for myself.
He does not even ask me how i spend the money and i know how he spends his cos i spend it with him.
Bottom line is that the guy has to be very matured and confident to be able to handle it.

For me, It was embarrassing. My husband is from a humble background and i am from a more priviledge background. The first time i visited him in his fathers house, they all welcomed me but with a kind of cautiousness in his parents eyes. Adding to it was the fact that i had a car and he did not have one then. I was in the sitting room and i overheard his mum asking him in the kitchen why he has choosen to buy yam from overseas instead of the local market.

Now we are married and they are wonderful people. No interference whatsoever and they dont even come to our house that much.

People in government are just being recycled. Why not give young and upcoming people a chance?

Greediness is an epidemic in Nigeria.

From NAFDAC boss - INFORMATION MINISTER - now she wants to be a SENATOR.

Can it ever be the turn of a common man in this country?

Fashion / Gaddafi Blames Osama Bin - Laden For Libya Uprising by Felibaby(f): 12:23am On Feb 25, 2011
Libya – Foreign mercenaries and Libyan militiamen loyal to Moammar Gadhafi tried to roll back the uprising against his rule that has advanced closer to his stronghold in Tripoli, attacking two nearby cities in battles that killed at least 17 people. But rebels made new gains, seizing a military air base, as Gadhafi blamed Osama bin Laden for the upheaval.

The worse bloodshed was in Zawiya, 30 miles (50 kilometers) west of the capital Tripoli. An army unit loyal to Gadhafi opened fire with automatic weapons on a mosque where residents — some armed with hunting rifles for protection — have been holding a sit-in to support protesters in the capital, a witness said.

The troops blasted the mosque's minaret with an anti-aircraft gun. A doctor at a field clinic set up at the mosque said he saw the bodies of 10 dead, shot in the head and chest, as well as around 150 wounded. A Libyan news website, Qureyna, put the death toll at 23 and said many of the wounded could not reach hospitals because of shooting by "security forces and mercenaries."

Hours after the attack in Zawiya, Gadhafi called in to state TV and in a rambling speech expressed condolences for the dead but then angrily scolded the city's residents for siding with the uprising.

He blamed the revolt on bin Laden and teenagers hopped up on hallucinogenic pills given to them "in their coffee with milk, like Nescafe."

"Shame on you, people of Zawiya, control your children," he said, addressing residents of the city outside Tripoli where the mosque attack took place. "They are loyal to bin Laden," he said of those involved in the uprising. "What do you have to do with bin Laden, people of Zawiya? They are exploiting young people , I insist it is bin Laden."

Gadhafi quickly condemned the Sept. 11 attacks that bin Laden masterminded, saying: "We have never seen such a horrific and terrifying act performed in such a exhibitionist manner." He cracked down on his country's Muslim militants, including those linked to al-Qaida. But in 2009, he said bin Laden had shown signs that he is open to dialogue and recommended that President Barack Obama seek an opening with the terrorist leader.

Thousands massed in Zawiya's main Martyrs Square by the Souq Mosque after the attack, shouting for Gadhafi to "leave, leave," the witness said. "People came to send a clear message: We are not afraid of death or your bullets," he said.

Na waah! Prestigeous ko? Egregious ni? This is what facebook does to your mentality. So the most important thing for Salif to do at this challenging time is to dance to the wishes of the west? Why is it that many Nigerians ALWAYS show this desperate tendency to lick the white-mans feet? Too much CNN? Maybe the Chinese contineud to produce leaders that obey western commands and that is why they are where they are today? This kind of thinking will lead you to no where in a world where the west dont care about you but their interests. Reminds me of Nigerian politicians who are willing to sell their country short just to be invited to the white house .

How many countries in Africa have succeeded because they produced leaders that dance to the whims of the west? Has periodic elections rigged to favor the west made Baghdad or Kabul better places than Tripoli Prisons housing some of the worst terrorists in Libya have been emptied, Al qaeda is declaring an emirate near Benghazi, army and police stations taken over and you feel the best line for a government figure to take is a pro western view so he will be in the good books of the almighty west. SMH, If we don't tune down the level of BBC and CNN watched by Nigerians, we will get to a stage where Nigerians will be nominating western buddies from facebook to run for Nigerias presidency,

You are spewing rubbish.
