Your 2NL depends on your case number. While some is a 5 digits last case number, mine was 3 digits case number. So the higher ur case number, the longer it takes to get ur interview appointment.

Once you have been scheduled for an interview, they will notify you through your mail and in your mail you will come across a link directing you to the dvlottery.state.gov website prompting you to enter your confirmation number, first name and date of birth you used while applying initially for the visa lottery. Then you will see your letter of appointment, date, time, names of beneficiaries if ever you have. You can print it out for further references. That's what happened in my own case.

Yes, ur age also determines your medical bills. ℓ was told ℓ would be paying 31k for my medicals as ℓ told them ℓ was 31 yrs old. My wife too was billed 31k as they said she was in the same age bracket with mine but my baby's billed will be determined by her hospital immunization card.

emybaby2: Hurray, i've been given my visa today, am so happy. I woke up early and arrived the place and we were checked in by 6:30am. Passed through the security check and got in. We did the documentation i.e gave my original and photocopied documents. I forgot to include 2 photocopied marriage certificate rather it was one and they wrote it down in my form that one certificate is out. That was the only error i made though i was nervous. Then we waited again. When it was time for the interview, window 16 who is a white lady was so tough with so much drilling of people with questions. The first couple for DV there were rejected by her. Up to 5 people went and she either refer them for the next day or told them that they have failed. A particular woman with a family of 5 children and her husband were denied their DV visa. What i come to know is that if you can't answer or defend your education and also know dates of birth, time you went to school etc, then there will be problems. The woman in window 13 was so nice and was handing down visas like water only denied one man. Who wasn't a DV applicant.
After praying that i should not pass through the white woman, believing God for window 13 when i was called to window 16(the white woman.)

That is how i scaled through the woman, looking her straight in the face and God helped me. Pls i like the black woman of window 13, she gave time to people who are nervous to think.

it means 2nd notification letter(interview letter) nd if dats rily ur case number,u've missed ur interview cos de numbers current is 11000.

11000, That's the total number of VISA to be given out during the month of February according to the Monthly VISA bulletin. So better get ur interview dates quick else U̶̲̥̅̊' missing it. ℓ pray God answers you quickly IJN

Pls forumites, i got married after ℓ applied for the 2013 DV lottery, now am scheduled for interview in february. But ℓ don't have any pre marriage pictures and my baby's naming. ℓ have my marriage certificates, marriage pictures and post marriage pictures. Will this affect my visa issuance? Pls ℓ need urgent reply now. And also what's the $3000USD am hearing on this forum about?

Don't be tired of waiting cos if u are from Nigeria, the number that will be going for interview in the month of february 2013 is from 2013af000010000 to 11000 and most of them are yet to receive their 2NL talk more of you that is having 14kplus so just relax and be planning,focus on this forum and visa bulletin and stop worrying urself cos ur interview is still far.hope justice has been done to ur request.

Don't worry brother, you will get your interview appointment letter 3 weeks later cos that's what happened in my own case too n now am scheduled for interview in February 2013. Just be prayerful. Ur time will surely come to success IJN

Thanks a lot. Am very grateful. Another issue is that ℓ don't have a pre marriage pictures as ℓ don't like taking picturs but ℓ have all my wedding pictures (both white wedding & engagement) and ℓ also have post wedding pictures, baby's birth pictures at the hospital with her mother and @ at home.

ℓ finished my secondary school in 2000, and did my diploma 2001 then went for my BSc in economics on part time programme from 2003 to 2009. ℓ got my job toward the end of my final year @ Unilever Nig Plc as a customer development sales officer posted to a KEY DISTRIBUTOR. My part time programme is on saturdays and sundays while my work is mondays to fridays. So ℓ have a prove but am just confused whether ℓ should go and defend my diploma result of ℓ go with my BSc documents like letter of admisiion, school fees receipts, and my project.

Hi nairalanders, am a DV 2013 selectee and av been schedule for interview in february 13, pls there's an issue here which ℓ need urgent advice. ℓ have my NECO result with all results B's and C's. ℓ also have a year diploma course at the Unilversity of Lagos, 2010 set which ℓ have already supplied them the info through the form. Now am tru with my B.Sc in economics 2009 on a part time programme. Now ℓ have been working for Unilever Nig Plc since that 2009 with my diploma result but ℓ haven't gotten my BSc cert cos ℓ have reference in some subject which ℓ just wrote. Now the job zone od my diploma and work experince falls under job zone 4, but the SVP is > 6. Pls will this affect my VISA issuance? Pls am confused, the address of residence on my marriage certificate is different from the one ℓ filled as ℓ have relocted after my wedding. Will these affect my visa issuance? And also my occupation on my marriage cert too is different as ℓ have a change of job. Pls someone should enlighten me about it.
