@ige, remember you still have one week to undertand design concepts and back end part of web development. So you can sharpen your website.

GraphicsPlus: Guess u wil be teaching them only html/css/ftp? It's even ok. With the knowledge of htm/css, they can get some works and do and get some income then further their knowledge. My cousin went to Ibadan to learn web designing. It was a one month course and the fee was 100k. He paid into their account and went. After one month, he was unable to design a simple website. The guys just duped him. They actually taught him html/css, but the training was a junk.

If u have good trainers, 2weeks is enough for one to learn html/css.

You are right but we will add Adobe Fireworks, web hosting(Cpanel), Javascript(Jquerry) plug-ins and few other things.

50 students each for 5 sets. That is 250 students multiplied by 5k, that is more than 1.2million Naira for 2 weeks training multiplied by 5 sets equals to 10 weeks (two months and half). Wow. Big income.

PGON: All trees have root. There can never be a successful fair without an organization of webmasters.
Let's be logical.
If we (?) are to approach an organization for sponsorship, .....under which umbrella.

My Suggestions.
1.Lets create a state level organization.
e.g Lagos state Webmasters association, Enugu state Webmasters association etc ... all state including the FCT.
and members in diaspora
We can open thread for each state so that members can identify themselves.

2. We can have a national body with representatives from the state.

GraphicsPlus: @Greenmouse, I dont know what u mean by reconciliation appeal. I was never quarreling with u. It's just that u want me to be stroking ur ego each time u want a review. pls dont expect that from me. I post work here for review, i accept any review no matter how it was worded. I posted one website in one foreign forum. come and see some heavy negative criticisms and some positive ones. Did i tell the guy that gave negative criticism that he's been jealous of me? Did i quarrel with him? Nope. I even learned something from his criticisms.

Read through the thread well, nobody bombarded me. If there is any, i have learned from his bombardment. If you post a work, if i see positive areas, i will highlight them. I will also highlight bad areas in a way u may not like. So we are not quarreling in the first place. No need for reconciliation.
