Education / Re: IELTS: Share Your Experience, Ask Your Questions, Tell Us Your Score If You Can. by HashtagMoniker(m): 3:00pm On Dec 09, 2020
Hello to all intending IELTS takers smiley. I trust that you are all doing good and studying really hard for the test. I know, firsthand, how difficult and expensive it is to prepare for the IELTS test and also the sad feeling if one doesn't pass it, but there's a way all of these can be circumvented and you can prepare for the test in a easier and more fun way and also at a less expensive rate, all in record time.

I would like to tell you about a guide that can help through all of this. It's a manual written by a travel and immigration expert, Ademiluyi David and it comprises of 5 short videos, study materials and past questions. The manual was written with the aim of maximizing preparation time by helping you focus on the critical aspects of the test. The manual comes at a price, an affordable price, one which is worth every penny if you compare the value you will get from it alongside that of going to and fro with a tutorial centre.

I can't share the testimonials of those who have benefited from this product here, because the Nairaland rules prevents me from posting links that seem like adverts, but to circumvent this I will drop my whatsapp contact and my twitter username so you can reach me. I know this looks like all those stressful 'DM for price things' but knowing what you could stand to gain, I think it is something you can waive aside.

My whatsapp contact is 09027185409 and my Twitter username is @fedonye. I'll be looking forward to your messages.

Education / How You Can Get A 7.5 Band Score In An IELTS Exam, Even If It's Your First Time. by HashtagMoniker(m): 3:15am On Nov 20, 2020
Hello, guys. Good day to y'all.

I trust y’all are doing good. With all that has been happening in the country as of recent, a lot of the things on the minds of people especially us young people is how to japa as soon as possible before Nigeria ends us all. Permanently moving to a new country demands a whole lot; paperwork, money, time and in Nigeria, connection maybe, all of these differ from country to country but one thing joins most of them is the IELTS Exam.

IELTS stands for “International English Language Testing System.” The IELTS is the world’s most popular English language proficiency test for higher education and global migration. The test assesses four English skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking. To achieve your dream to japa and settle in a country where your rights won’t be trampled upon by people meant to protect you, passing the IELTS with a good score is of high importance.

It isn’t really easy to pass because English isn’t our mother’s tongue and this has caused many people to fail it and consequently sat repeatedly for it, this is why I want to tell you about a trusted formula to help ace the test. This formula was created by travel expert, Ademiluyi David and it comprises of 5 short videos and study materials with the aim of saving time and lots of money in preparation for the test, allowing you to work at your own pace whilst studying better and faster. The material also comes with a bonus benefit of receiving future updates and recommendations that will assist you.

To preview this formula and know more about it and to also see some testimonials of people who have successfully used it, I have inserted a link below.

You can check it out and see why this would be of immense assistance to your exam preparations. It would be kind of you to help share this information to others who you think would be interested in it.

Thank you for reading.

Like everyone is saying start with html.
U can use IDE like sublime or Visual studio or bracket.
Visit w3schools.com , it will help u a lot.
Makes friends with other experience developers and ask them questions when u are lost.
Also watch alot of YouTube videos. Practice all the time and start working on projects as soon as possible cause u really can't learn it all.
Advice taken. Thank you very much.

Well it depends on ur choice of action.
Google about about programming paths and you'll be more enlightened.
But if you wish to delve into web development.
You learn HTML and CSS first.
HTML is the basic language of the web
Ok. Thanks so much.
Programming / Re: Beginner At Web Development by HashtagMoniker(m): 8:54am On Jan 03, 2019
Do you recommend I start with HTML first, someone had earlier told me to start with JavaScript, he said the internet runs primarily on it.
TheManofTomorrow:

Stability on my career as a web developer is alos a bit of mine new year resolution too.
I started with HTML and CSS last year December. Will be advancing to JavaScript/jquery in a bit. Programming requires a lot of focus and dedication I must say.

I will advice you to choose your learning method
The cheapest- reading ebooks
You can also do free online tutorial at codecademy and similar sites

Happy leaning

Hello, guys. Good day to you all. I have made some plans for 2019 and one of them I really want to follow through is that I want to end this year on the road to being a Full Stack Developer. This is why I have come to ask for you guys advice, I know virtually nothing on programming and I'll like to get some recommendations from you on the language to start learning with, IDE to use and access to books or PDF files.
Thank you all so much. I'll wait for the feedback.

I'm creating this thread due to the recent mails I've been getting here.
In the world of programming today, there are over 60% who are self thought. I'm not here for statistics.
I will be sharing a simple PDF guide on best resources for major programming languages, frameworks and markup languages. Only resource for those who don't know where to get one or need motivation.
These would include:
HTML
CSS and its frameworks
JavaScript and its libraries
PHP

Mobile app Dev
Python
And as many that would come on request.

The ones listed here are the ones I'm good at, so I'll share where I've been getting help.

Xcelinteriors:

Who is this malnourished boy again? All those small boys that are still sleeping under their mother and eating "mama thank ma" please don't quote me again because I have your mate at home

30 mins, be making nonsense assumptions.
Xcelinteriors:

Don't tell me to shut up because am entitled to my opinion. Ok let's look at it from this way. Let's assume she left the baby at home sleeping to buy something in nearby market. The question is for how long. Do you know how long it takes that baby to stagger out from the house and climb the staircase of that uncompleted building. It is not 5mintes or 10minutes thing. It will take her like 30minutes or more to get to that high place and she might have been playing there before her cloth got hooked to the iron. Now the question is how can a reasonable mother leave a child of 3yrs for that long at home. You too should reason it
Crime / Re: Baby Strangled In An Uncompleted Building As Mum Went Out To Buy Things (Graphic by HashtagMoniker(m): 4:17am On Nov 10, 2018
Shut up, madam. She wasn't careless. She stepped out to buy something, every other mom that also left their child to buy something for a few minutes are careless too? She should be jailed as if the daughter's death isn't enough. Smh
Xcelinteriors:
The careless mother should be jailed for life. How can you leave a toddler all alone to buy one useless thing from the market? Who does that? She is not worthy be called a mother

OP, I don't understand again. I thought UNN won Malabites 2-1 before and qualified for the Quarter Dinals
TonyeBarcanista:

In this thrillingly unpredictable 2018 HiFL® season, we are yet to know the identity of the inaugural winners of the league. But of one thing we can be certain: it won’t be the UI Pioneers.

On the day Ebuka David, UAM Tillers’ sharp shooter electrified the competition with his trio of goals, UI Pioneers produced a hat trick of an altogether less elevated kind.

For the first time in history, a football team from the University of Ibadan has been badly beaten, bruised, savaged and demoralized by their counterparts from the Obafemi Awolowo University.

Up North, it was gut wrenching heartbreak for the UNILORIN Warriors after being edged out by ABU Nobles on penalties. Roared on by the vociferous home fans in a packed ABU Gymnasium Complex, the Nobles raced into the lead on the day after a well taken goal by Ibrahim Musa to even the scores on aggregates. Despite the valiant efforts of the Warriors, they held on before eventually displaying nerves of steel to triumph 5-4 on penalties.

In the other matches, DELSU Titans shocked pre-tournament favourites and perennial NUGA champions UNIPORT Sharks 2-1 in a hard fought game at the Kwale Township Stadium to qualify on away goals rules as a result of their two priceless away goals from the first leg.

In the final match of the round, UAM Tillers demolished the hapless Desert Warriors of UNIMAID 3-0 to ease to book a clash with UNIJOS Highlanders who had qualified earlier via a walk over after the ATBU Bravehearts were a no show for their second leg match replay.

Concluding the quarter finalists of the 2018 HiFL season is the UNICAL Malabites who qualified after the UNN Lions forfeited their hotly contested second leg replay after ending the match 1-1 on aggregate.

Action returns on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 across four centers for the first leg clashes of the quarter finals in the league and as always it promises to be as exciting as ever.

HiFL® is approved by the Nigerian University Games Association (NUGA) and endorsed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). The league is overseen by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the Committee of Vice-Chancellors (CVC). The winner of this HIFL® 2018 season will represent Nigeria at the 2019 International University Sports Federation games in Naples, Italy.

bloodofthelamb:
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the SAINTS which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus(Ephe 1:1.

Dear Father thank you for your "eternal truth" which is your power unto salvation. I pray as we believe may you confirmed it in our lives. Amen!

God has made us saints through Christ. We're the saints of God through Christ Jesus. You don't need to be canonized by mortal men before you could be a saint. You don't need to die before you can become a saint.

Believers in Christ Jesus are saints. While those who have not yet believe in Him can also become saints through simple faith in Christ Jesus. Our good works cannot make us saints, neither can our puny effort do. Jesus is the author of our sainthood. In Him all humanity have a chance to become saints of God.

It is foolishness to believe that the puny declaration of men can establish someone as a saint. Say no to the doctrine of men.
Say no to the deceit and lies of the devil.

Keep believing and keep winning! Peace!
