excellencyabia1: Congratulation to them. Meanwhile one governor ( name, add by yourself) was talking about building airport whereas the center table (flyover) is almost running two terms.
This lady is a liar and possibly a cheat. Suddenly she now realizes that she married a man her father's age?? She kept repeating it and it is obviously a source of insecurity... I just hope the Kabiyesi was like the Lion of Ilujunle in the bedroom department... otherwise, such a lady will naturally cheat!!
Alcapodetuti: Oluwo Used To Beat Me, Threatened Me With 'JUJU' – Olori Chanel Akanbi Cried Out
The Story of OLORI CHANEL AKANBI (Born Chanel Michael Chin) is a sad reality of life.
Five months ago, her former husband, the very controversial Iwo king in Osun State (South West Nigeria), Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi announced across both conventional and social media that he has sacked his beautiful Olori from the palace, laying claims to irreconcilable differences and more as reasons for the action.
In an exclusive interview with AsabeAfrika TV, Olori Chanel Akanbi reveal how the Oluwo of Iwo used to beat her, while at the same time cheated on her severally, even with their house maid. She further made clarification on the Oluwo claim that he caught her with a man, narrating that the incident happen in his palace where such act is impossible.
It took her great pain to open up to Asabe Afrika TV but when she did, she didn’t hold back tears, laughter and other emotions bordering her personality after her exit from the palace. She revealed the several emotional accidents that characterized her stay behind the closed door of the palace.
What's your definition of 'life,' first off? Because there's nothing in the OP that hinted at restrictions on a woman's life. It's just all about what you want.
Why should you have a bestie that is not the person you're in a relationship with sef? Especially a bestie of the opposite sex. I used to be a part of the clique that chants 'there's nothing there,' but to be honest? I can't wrap my head around it. Same for a guy. Why not just date your FEMALE BEST FRIEND? Because you know everything about each other already. If you are not in a relationship, na only small go remain.
.
Yeah. Depends on the depth of closeness. But there's some level of closeness between my SO and his female friend I won't be cool with.
No. Not a relationship that might end tomorrow. An ... agreeable relationship. Compatible in every single way. Spiritually, psychologically, dreams and values. Like, bonding in every level, from the unseen to the superficial. You don't get that kind every day, haha.
All you've said. The post was clearly not everywoman. So, it's like you ended up not saying anything. You repeated what the OP mentioned. It's clearly about a man/woman looking for someone that fits them. This is not about changing anyone.
A man commited to seeing you be a better version of yourself? You hardly see this any where.
That's who the OP is describing. It's not about controlling...
I didn't mean to offend you, although the fact that you were offended or saw my text as an insult underlines the "inexperience" I was talking of.
You mentioned fiancee?? ROTFL!! Trust me, a fiancee really doesn't count... yet. A husband does. Many people have several fiancees before they marry. But that is beside the point.
I can talk about your inexperience because I went through your phase several years ago. Many of my close friends also did. Now, married and in retrospect, we realize a lot of naivety played in the past.
The point I'm underlining is that there should be only one person in your life that should hold all your emotion at this age... the person you're dating or in your case, your fiancee. If it doesn't work, transfer that devotion to the next person.
You projected yourself as a Christian here... Ask someone older and wiser in church (if you attend a balanced church) and you'd validate what I'm telling you.
Many women go into marriage with this bestie mindset and almost all have regretted it. Not saying it hasn't worked for some, but it generally fails.
Just so you know, like does not attract likes. The best marriages are of two different people who admire the differences in each other and are willing to merge to potentate their performance. Try having two meticulous people in one house and see how it would be over time... or two hotheads... or two romantics. You may have similar interests, but interests change. What keeps people in long relationships is not similarity or likes. It is the temperance to tolerate excesses. I won't say anymore.
Rotfl. Kindly keep your advice to yourself cause it ended in insults. My fiancé has become my best friend even though he knows my bestie. My bestie is also engaged to be married.
I might not see my bestie every day, I haven't even seen him in months but we are still very close and it has been platonic all these three years.
I know the crowd I roll with, they are like minded people like me. We don't go about thinking of how to sleep with each other but how to elevate each other spiritually, in our careers and business and psychologically.
More so, forget this bestie crap. It will help you as you grow into a woman. Believe it or not. That's all I can tell you... I won't try to convince you or give you reasons, neither would I abuse you as some are doing. I understand that it is inexperience and perspective that is your limitation.
Stay focused on one guy. Emotion sharing is as good as cheating, no matter how you couch it.
You've not heard of nuisance value?? By the time she gets done with you, your reputation would be in tatters and many would still secretly believe you did it, despite evidence to the contrary.
Enchantaurl: . I was doing something small in school, which I was able to use in feeding and buying materials but now we are on break. I'm in Port Harcourt tho job hunting before we resume, left the village I'm staying with a course mate at her parent's.
Reach out to me via: 09023924412. I'd be glad to find how to assist. Kindly send a text. Wish you the best.
I get the fact that a relationship shouldn't be built on lies and he has a right to be upset...but come on. A divorce? Cos she lied about her age?. She was probably feeling insecure and didnt wanna lose him at the beginning.... they ought to work out their differences not get separated after being together for so long.
I think many people are missing the point. This is a major integrity issue that digs at the foundation of the relationship... It is worthy of a divorce, if the man wishes. Personally, I'm not sure how I'd react.
The man is not the ANN candidate. Period. Frla Durotoye is the presidential candidate of ANN. This man is misrepresenting ANN and is a symptom of everything wrong with Nigeria!!
isn't it high time you all give up in this fight and join hands lets build Nigeria?
sentiments aside, with what you hear him say, is he not the best candidate for this race?
what else do we need? Awolowo's granddaughter stepped down for him, the almighty former NBA Boss Oliseh Agbakoba has thrown his weight on him, OBJ's Party joined alliance with ANN and still produced Him, what else you all need to understand that this Man has all it takes to deliver Nigeria after all these?

Amarabae: The social media is bubbling over a new law passed by the Lagos State house of assembly that made it compulsory for anyone seeking admission into Lagos State University to have a credit or pass in Yoruba language and also for the teaching of Yoruba language in all primary and secondary schools. Ndi Igbo ibem, what is wrong with the law? Why the noise? The yorubas have shown the country again that they are proud of their identity and Lagos belongs to them which I agree, Lagos is a Yoruba state, argue with your shadow. This is a time for us to think, Igbos, We should be promoting our own identity like language, music, arts, movies ,attire etc We should be more Igbotic everytime, It pains me to see some Igbo youths busy trying to be more Jewish than Igbo, To them, being Jewish is better to them than being Igbo, Odinani is fading away and some are sweating to promote Judaism whereas the Israeli government are maltreating African immigrants in their country. We are promoting Judaism while allowing Igbo identity to be fading away. What a shock!
It pains me to see some Igbo youths busy online arguing and fascinating about how the minorities (ijaws, itsekiris, ogonis etc) will join Biafra. How will they respect Igbo nation when you have painted yourself as beggars before them, You hate the word homogeneous Igbo nation, you are only interested in teaching your children how how Phillip effiong was ojukwu vice therefore the whole of South south is Biafra yet if I ask your kids who Flora nwamkpa or mbonu ojike is, they will not know because you didn't bother to teach them. Instead of talking about Igbo land issue, you are busy arguing on why south south is not in map or geography.
Who did this to us .
I love my Igbo ethnic nation and I am proudly Igbotic by nature, we need to be more ethnocentric as Igbos, enough of being politically correct as Igbo. Love yourself. Be proud of your Igbo identity Showcase it. Drop the defeatist mentality. I have sworn that my little baby boy will learn from me how to speak fluent Igbo from small age, not just Igbo but his fathers Anambra dialect. . Kudos to Lagos government. Let the Igbo governors follow suit. And finally, Lagos is Yoruba land no matter the amount of investment owned by non indigenes just like Enugu is Igbo land. There is an Igbo adage that says "O biara ije nwe ula " Keep your branch anywhere but move your headquarters to Igbo land. Return your investment home, Use your brain. Igbo land is bigger than Rwanda ,Singapore and Israel in size yet these are countries, Return your investment home. The people you are buying their lands, paying taxes to and investing in their land don't appreciate nor like you.
Aku ruo uno, Biko o. Igbo ga adi. Amii Self preservation is the first law of Nature . Ndewo
While I don't want this thread turning into this twist I can do with little education, you can tell me who the settlers were with dates with dates not just newspaper articles of people between 1992 and now. Yes my parents were born before 1920 and their great grand parents were real sons of Oyigbo who were Ndoki and Asa. Just to confirm did you know there are the Oyigbo Bini people in Ondo who speak a different language and not Yoruba? Did you know there is the Asa River also in Kwara? Have you ever heard of a core Oyigbo son who was killed swimming in the IMO River,Blue Sea or near the Nwanji river like the settlers? Wondered why? Maybe I can learn from you about my people who have over 1000years of accountable history
You are a shame to your ancestors!! You are now Bini? Whoever cursed Igbo's with this particular kind of curse would not rest in peace!!!
balanceofterror1: They are lucky it didn't happen in Aba. If they born you well go to ABA and fight a woman. The day these guys blocked us for maltreating a young lady without fearing our arms and uniform was the day I comot cap for Aba boys. We show them sha.
You show them sha? You think that makes you a man? Would you have been able to "show them" without your guns? Weak men are proud of villainy!
NOETHNICITY: The bigot, hunted by Islams unstoppable progress and advance, not withstanding the organized campaign against it, pops up, yet again, with another of his uneducated ignorant tirade about Islam. U re so hunted u cannot resist the temptation to comment as U feel compulsively obliged to. I can imagine how bugged down u feel by Islam's advance. Do u know why I call u a 'hypocritical bigot'? U pretend not to know christianity was propagated by the unprecedentedly murderous savage maurading swords of the cruder army, headed by the Pope and his barbaric bloodthirsty Knights, who killed and destroyed all and any that attempts to stand on their sweeping parts. U think we do not know how the brain-dead Papal authorities executed hundreds of scientists on stuupid accusations of heresy, because they aired opinions not captured in ur myopic, shortsighted bible. I know u ll not be bold enough to respond to this post. Even if u re able to muster the courage to do, u ll, as usual, cleverly and deliberately evade to respond to the points highlighted therein.
Edited!!!!! I knew u re alws incapable of responding to posts with any modicum of intellectual depth. I knew u wud run away like an illiterate coward.
You didn't address any of his observations. You just abused him. Its more of a commentary on you than on him.
Cos I add little money I will migrate to cheating?
Your sense of reasoning is like that of curry and thyme
Call it what you want "add a little money" or "steal a little meat" or "tell a little lie" or "just a harmless kiss" etc. It all points to a faulty moral compass. That you don't understand that is a tragedy of the Nigerian society. That's why someone can say "Stealing is not corruption"!!
Just so you know, a good balance of curry and theme can give untrammeled taste to the stew of life. The critical question really is: How do people like you truly reason?
Dyt: I add money too And I think one out of 3 women do that or most have done it
The only thing I condemn is her being rude to you But then how did you approach her
There's always a man involved when a woman goes crazy
That you do it doesn't make it right! Don't encourage dishonesty and fraud. "A little leavening leaveneth the whole lump"...From this you can migrate to other forms of dishonesty and cheating!!
Everybody Trying to make a name. So I looked at the lawyer's name again, and " Johnmary Jide Obi" sounds mighty suspicious to me.
First you add a Mary to John,And as if that is not bad enough, you add Obi to Jide. Knowing fully well the history of those bearing Jide and Obi not getting along.
Where is the OP?your source of the story please. Something very fishy about this MaryJohn Jide Story.
Statsocial: Did my PMP last yr during NYSC only to be told at the end of the programme that PMP was a prerequisite for PMI and that PMI could only be certified outside Nigeria. So this is certainly good news for some of us That may want to get the Certificate for PMI.
So that you don't confuse those who are new to this, what you did was a PMP training... not "PMP". What is regarded as "PMP" is the certification offered by PMI. Until you've done that, you can't say you've done a "PMP".
Furthermore, PMP exams used to be run in Nigeria... Did mine in 2008.
