You have spoken well. Very well.

Unfortunately, people like Makinde have no examples to follow in this regard from the father of Yoruba politics in the State of Excellence he has controlled since 1999.

Is there a law somewhere mandating him to follow the example of a particular father of politics? Your father of politics' example is not our business. Our business is that a political office holder delivers visionary and verifiable governance irrespective of party, religion or region. If you like take example from Heaven or from inside the ocean, just give us progress and peace. Not all these rambling about not having a father or having a father.

Is it about not having a godfather or about delivering good governance? Who cares about your father, but the fact that you serve and let the people enjoy the dividends of voting you in. Be visionary, make good use of the billions you collect every month, improve welfare, give your state a facelift and a future. Fatherless, fatherless, after you leave there now, we'll start hearing that you paid $700,000 of state money for your child's future. Misplaced priorities.

As for you who came uninvited to my mentions,I have a simple message for you....

How much is 11 million naira that Reno cannot have. Apart from the millions available to him in Aso Rock under GEJ and then as a croonie of Atiku all these years. He has a lot of money coming in for him on Social media with millions of followers every month. Not to mention his 'side' hustles as a businessman. Dey play. You think it's easy to junket from Europe to America for the past ten years without having up to $10k, abeg run am.

It isn't.

If you treat yourselves well and respectfully .

No one will dare try that on your soil.

Imagine a House where a stranger gets used to seeing you shout on your kids. The stranger may end up shouting on your kids.

It's common reason, not a fallacy.

Okay, fold your hands and sleep then. No worries.

One thing I know

Nigerians discriminate against themselves both Home and Abroad.

Jealousy, Envy, Prejudice, Nepotism. None of these haven't I can experienced from Nigerians.

This is a fallacy and hasty generalization. Not everyone has time for discrimination, envy, nepotism, etc. And that some do it is never a justification for it or for racism to be permitted in your own country by foreigners.

What you actually have is a jungle!

A proactive government would properly investigate and gather evidence and seek a court order to shut them down. But since Nigeria does not follow its laws, we just swoop in!

What if this company contests the allegations and is found to not be guilty in court? Would Nigeria not have to compensate them for loss of earnings?

This, alone, is enough to make one suspect they don't ban Nigerians.

A supermarket registered in Nigeria, supposedly paying taxes in Nigeria, having Nigerians work as security, but being racist in services. They can legally be shut down by government. This is government, not random people taking laws in their hands.

Education / Re: FG Sets 18 Years As Minimum Entry Age Into Tertiary Institutions by Image123(m): 8:42am On Apr 23
Flakky26:

learn a skill before he or she becomes 18 years.

It should not be mandatory. People learn skills all through life. There are skills that you can learn in 3months or 6months and make a living with if you will. We should not streamline skills to tailoring and mechanic work shop that take two years apprenticeships. People learn skills in school, in NYSC, in marriage, etc. Learning a so called skill is not a valid reason for a two year delay that is not really the child's fault.

If the brilliancy used to score higher marks in jamb not waec is channeled into skill acquisition within the time to make up 18, then such student will be excellent during and after tertiary institution

Look at the world around, not back to when people needed their hands to touch their alternate ears. Work with data, facts and reality, not just emotions. The main criteria for admissions into higher institutions is largely met by 15 and 16year olds, and they are given admission all over the world. They will only usually give exemptions for foreigners or international students because those ones are usually on their own and will need some kind of chaperone or age criteria to own certain things in another country like sim cards, bank accounts and so on.
Otherwise, it's not an academic or emotional decision. These same fellows go on to do well in their different institutions and departments. You don't have to be below 18 to stray, you only need the wrong company and upbringing. Use facts to reply please, not gists.

olaadenigeria:

That is the initial standard before deviation due to the parents pressure.

The so called standard is not scriptures or sacrosanct. They need to look at the world around them. The students scoring so high in JAMB and WAEC, are they only 18 year olds? No, we have 15 and 16 year olds among them. School maturity and seriousness is not really a matter of age these days but largely background and company.
Education / Re: FG Sets 18 Years As Minimum Entry Age Into Tertiary Institutions by Image123(m): 5:14am On Apr 23
This is just an act on the spur of the moment, not well thought out. There's nothing here justifying the decision. What does it mean to be in line with 6-3-3-4? You can follow 6-3-3-4 either you are 15 years old or 20 years old.
If anything, act on the music and media industry and influence. As per academics, even 15 year olds can cope if given the right environment. We have people with their masters and settling down already at 20 in different parts of the world.

Yes my dear boy, GDP is measured in the currency of the country in question. It is only changed if you want to compare with another country. Of course, only miscreants and mischief makers will compare with another country when a country just deliberately floated its currency.
