What are we talking about,
If Peter in the bible had not lied 3 times even when Jesus told him he would what do u think this world would have been. All those ppl saying u would go to hellfire or so, do u want to tell us here that You are all saints.Let the next person who says we would go to hellfire when we lie come out and tell us if they haven't lied. angry

pretty_boi: Going through most of the posts in reply to this thread, you'd realize that Nigerians are typically dumb, naive, foolish & dull. What's wrong with going to Afghanistan? Is it not human beings that live there? I've never been to Afghanistan, but its totally wrong of you guys to judge based on "hear-say." Is it not the same way till today many people in the west believe Africans live on trees & go around Unclad? Is it true? Has it ever been true? Is it not the same way someone outside Nigeria hears that boko haram has been bombing some places in Nigeria & then he automatically concludes that everywhere in Nigeria has been bombed down? You guys should please grow up. Cheers.
GOD BLESS THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA.
If u have never gone there, y r u insulting people. This shows how naive and dumb you are. Well i am in d uk military and i have been privileged to go there and i can tell you its a big Hell hole.

Lagos_Boi:

I am not in Afgan but i will like to if i can get their visa. I have read a lot about them and i think i like them for their courage.

I was expecting the worse when going to sudan and egypt but i was shocked to find out how friendly and accomodating they are, compared to ''some'' western racists....smh
i would rather be racially abused than bomb to bits. get
out of there fasttttt

goodmike7: @poster,
what was your intention for a thread like this in the first place?so you want a pastor to preach what?all the pastors that preaches prosperity are on course because its God that maketh rich, abi na devil ni? Deut.8:18 "I giveth thee power to get wealth"what is wrong with you people here sef? Jesus while on earth never lacked, did you see him visiting any poor man, search your scriptures and tell me one poor man's house he stayed,he was rich he is the giver of prosperity.

dont go there make una nor remain poor,so a pastor should be riding bicycles while unbelievers fly private jets abi?

God punish una
if u say this then y did The bible say Matthew 19:16-24 (New International Version)

Matthew 19:23

23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
.
so if you must post facts then insert from d scriptures

i bet prosperity pastors never preach this verse of the bible "Luke 18:24-34

[22] When Jesus heard this, he said to him, "You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

[23] When he heard this, he became very sad, because he was a man of great wealth.

Jesus looked at him and said, "How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God! [25] Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.[/font]"

Abi no be part of the word of God

I hate commenting on topics like this but now i must. How did this bogus topic make the front page. They should keep all this prophecies were they belong, not were people are looking for meaningful topic to read.
if Mr poster is looking for prophecies anyone can prophesy in that way. like if i say" many people would b rich next next year " and "many people would lose their riches" would that warrant me to start my own church.
So until names are mentioned in these prophecy, Mr poster go and look for another job. angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry

Properties / Re: Build A New House Vs Buy A New House by jamngr84(m): 11:44am On Jan 15, 2012
For me buying is less stressful than buying once you have the capital.the reason i say so is if u have the capital and decide to build believe me after having an estimate by the time you start you would notice the cost of the materials would keep rising and by the time you are almost finished you have spent more than what you have budgeted.
My friend and i decided to invest in a house 4 years ago i bought mine and he wanted to build. After he started and got half way he found out that he had used all the capital and the house plan didn't go as he wanted and he hadnt finished it.Now he is still staying in a rented house regretting is action.
i think he finally sold the uncompleted building at a loss.
Politics / Re: Jang: Only Haters Of Nigeria, Economic Recovery Oppose Subsidy Removal by jamngr84(m): 10:25am On Jan 06, 2012
In as much as removal of fuel subsidy is the way forward,Nigeria is not yet ripe for it.The reason i say this is that we need to tackle corruption first as that's were most of the wastage of Nigerians fund goes. This removal is just like filling a bag with more  water that has hole were the hole is corruption.
Secondly people should stop comparing Nigeria to UK or the us. i work for the UK govt and my monthly income is 1000 pounds (N258,000).i am still considered a low income earner and i get benefits from the govt worth 400 pounds a month(N103,000).
So i can barely afford to buy petrol at the amount sold here. And besides y do people use double standard.they compare how much fuel is sold in Nigeria and the UK or us, but nobody seems to compare how much the govt of the Nigerian ppl pay to her ppl  to what the Govt. of UK pay her people.
The way forward would have been set up the Nigerian ppl first so that they can cope with the increase, and not the other way around
