The covid19 lockdown should have taught you that you can rely on your in-house job. Many companies all over the world were affected but Nigerian companies got more hit that first world. Our economy is not that great. Do you really want to rely on that for money?
Business / Re: Here's Why You're Not Getting Any Sales Or Traffic On Your Website by Jiteshell(f): 3:13pm On Nov 11, 2020
Google just announced an update to their algorithm that will take effect in 2021 using core web vitals as a ranking signal. That will affect many websites and yours might not be different.

From experience, I have realized that many Nigerian developers don't put core web vitals into consideration. Want to know what it is and how it can affect sales, and what to do to take advantage of this before your competitors know about it? click on the link in my bio for the SEO course.
Business / Here's Why You're Not Getting Any Sales Or Traffic On Your Website by Jiteshell(f): 12:42pm On Nov 10, 2020
There's so much emphasis these days on having a website for your business, but no one talks about the silence on the website after setting it up. Wondering why you're not getting sales on your website?

Here's what you need to know: getting sales on your website is more than having a beautiful website - you need to get the right people in.

Sure, there's Google and Facebook ads, but you can't keep paying for ads in the long term. That can be expensive.

Instead of you paying to get traffic, you'll learn how to get organic traffic yourself. We will teach you how to ensure that your website shows up on the first Google search result page when people are searching for your product or service.

To take your website from zero to thousands of quality traffic that converts into sales, and come back for more. Click on this link to sign up.

The price is 72,000, but there's a 90% discount for the next few days so you'll only pay 7,200 to have access to over 8 hours of videos, downloadable pdfs, a community of experts and business opportunities.

Ps. If you want to market your business through other digital means, such as social media, we also have courses that focus on advertising on Facebook and Instagram to get sales, general social media marketing and advertising, Google ads, and more. Click here to sign up for any or all of those.
Career / Make Thousands Of $$ From Home With This Skill by Jiteshell(f): 12:33pm On Nov 10, 2020
Want a skill that you can use to make money from home or to specialize in digital marketing? There are many choices like SEO which is an excellent choice right now. It's in high demand: Upwork (the leading freelancing marketplace) listed it as one of the growing areas with great income opportunities in SEO.

You can work from home for a company abroad and earn thousands of $$$$ monthly or for a company in Nigeria.

You might wonder why many companies and people are willing to pay a lot of money for SEO specialists. Here's why:
SEO means Search Engine Optimization and it's what ensures that when searches are made on Google and other search engines, your client's website or your website shows up on the first page on search results.

With billions of searches going on every day, if the page you optimize shows up on the first page, you can get thousands of daily traffic which can translate to increased sales and subscribers on the website.

This industry is worth millions of dollars and isn't showing any sign of slowing down.

To learn how to do SEO and position yourself to start making more and improving your career, click on the this link to sign up.

Just so you know, it's 72,000 but there's a 90% discount right now so you only pay 7,200. With that, you'll get access to over 8 hours of video, mentorship, job opportunities, a certificate, discount into top SEO applications like SEMrush, and more.

As a student, you will also have access to the community where you can discuss with experts and have access to job opportunities.

If you want to try other digital marketing courses, click on this link. You can learn how to run ads on Facebook and Instagram and make sales, general social media marketing and advertising, Google ads, and more.
Education / Re: Do Not Study A Course Just Because You Like It. by Jiteshell(f): 12:24pm On Nov 10, 2020
Even as you choose a marketable course, go for something you love. You can have a great job and still be miserable. And if you don't choose a course you love in school, you might graduate with bad grades cos there's no passion there.

That said, regardless of what course you take, always take additional skills just in case. Three areas that you can learn easily are some areas of agriculture, programming and digital marketing.

You can take online courses and start you practice and earn even while in school. That way, you can make money and more than survive even while waiting for opportunities in the area you love.

We both know that this is not true.
If you would have left gently, why didn't you obey the curfew with that same 'gentleness'?
In your search for public sympathy, don't lie.
The government is guilty already.
You can't make them more guilty than they already are.

The curfew was to start by 9. This incident started about two hours before the curfew.

Guys are hard to trust these days. Girls, if only you would hear my voice...stop going to a guy's house if you dont know him too well. All these social media DMs and subsequent dates or friendship would reduce you girls to size. Dress well too to cover all your voluptuous body parts. If you no carry shit for bodi, flies no go fit make you im friend...na local adage.

In the olden days, rape was nearly nonexistent because there were morals. Social media wasn't there as well. We live in a fragile generation where father sleeps with his daughter. Girls please steer clear of strange guys. No amount of sweet words should entice you.
1. Even cousins and brothers rape so the "guy that you know too well" can still rape you

2. Dressing well or not is no excuse. Girls in hijab down to the floor are still raped. Babies are still being raped.

3. Rape existed in the olden days. The difference is that then, they always covered it up to handle it "traditionally" sometimes even forcing the poor victim to marry her abuser. Secondly, there was no internet then so the news wouldn't spread wide and since the family will cover it up, who will the victim go to afterall there's no social media to share it on?

4. See number one.

Science/Technology / Dangers Of Choosing A Bad Web Host + How To Fix It by Jiteshell(f): 5:59pm On Aug 05, 2019
Many people don't know what they are doing when it comes to choosing a web hosting company. I get that it's not everyone that understands web hosting features. Even developers make the same mistakes.

What you don't know is that the consequences of picking the wrong one can spoil your SEO ranking and chances of ranking at all, kill your revenue, bring in loads of security issues and more.

Jobs/Vacancies / Brand Ally Needs Writers by Jiteshell(f): 4:35pm On Feb 12, 2019
Hey there!

The Brand Ally needs writers who know how to strut their stuff or are willing to learn within the web hosting space. This is not an in-house position, but we might need to have physical meetings once in a while in workspaces.

Little Summary

We need someone who can develop and create content for one of our websites. We are looking for well-researched and objective articles.

Yes, we want someone who can be very harsh when we say review Company A. No salesy or sweet stuff.

Like every other company, we have deadlines, but we’re nice. If you can’t finish within that date, we can extend it, as long as you let us know beforehand that you can’t. Some other things you must follow are:

1. Our editorial guide
2. Our review guide

We don’t need a Mr/Ms perfect. We are looking for writers who have flaws and are willing to work on them.

Your Duties

Simple stuff:

1. Write the truth about every web host
2. Research and organize what you’re writing
3. Edit them, hopefully with Grammarly
4. Research the industry to compare what your task (web host) has against others
5. Read and try to understand web hosting terminologies and what customers are looking for, especially startups and beginners
6. Collaborate with the editor(s) and content manager(s)

To Fit In, You Must:

1. Have a learning attitude
2. Have the ability to accept criticism and work on it
3. Write objectively
4. Have excellent grasp of American and British English
5. Not use salesly words, fluff, and unnecessary repetition
6. Have some writing experience
7. Be able to use some Google Business Products (docs, Drive, etc.)

To get on this boat, send an email to hello@thebrandally.com with one or two paragraphs on why we should work together and your price per word. It’s up to you to send CV or work experience, but please, not more than two attached documents. Writers who ignore these instructions will be thrown out of our inbox. See ya!

earthrealm:

120w x 10hrs = 1200w
,min batt config i wud recommend is 2 units of 12v 200ah,
min panels i wud recommend is 1000w/900w 4 x 250w, 3 x 300w, 3 x 330w etc
laptop takes 40 to 80w depending on size, and once that batt is fully charged, its consumption drops to below 40w, so its negligible

250w cost = 35k to 65k..depending on type/make
12v 200ah cost btw 90k to 140k depending

a good 1.5kva inverter can power your load, but if the your budget is a lil freer, go for a 2,4kva
check the prices from our vendors here....that shud give you an idea of budget.
you can also keep 30k to 80k for logistics/labour/other ancillary items you might need

Thanks for the breakdown.... smiley

Hey guys..

So I'm not a DIY person when it comes to stuff like this.
What I'm concerned about is powering a freezer (see pics attached for wattage info and stuff) for about 10 hours everyday with solar.

I would also like if it can power my laptop for that same amount of time.

For those into stuff like this, can I get an estimated cost for without the laptop and with it? I know laptops don't need lots of power...but just saying.

So solar + inverter...hybrid system preferably...
