Most times, we tend to sacrifice for people based on tenable contingencies and feel that they should be responsible enough to do the right thing of paying back as and when due.

Therefore, rather than blame the lender for parting with cash that is not a “ ready to lose” money, the borrower should be tutored about the importance of integrity and being responsible to pay back borrowed cash. The sincerity of the borrower should also be queried; if you do not have available means to service a borrowed money, why not come clean and beg that the money be given to you rather than disguising in the form of borrowing. Of course, for most conman, they know the downside of asking for a “dash” is that the amount may not be substantial to service their greedy and wicked intentions once the money has been given out.

I know this particular point is based on various experiences of people and hence the suggestion not to give out anything that is beyond a token. I agree that this is the best thing to do in order to stay safe. However, the whole blame need not be on the lender as I feel the borrower should take a large chunk of it.

IMHO, Jarus didn't have any intention of lying to the person who asked him for update. So how would you have proposed he answered the guy that quoted him?.

If there's a correlation between Tfare and Apl, time will tell, to spend time trying to figure out what may not even exist is just not productive.

If someone tells your barring any last minute changes, it means the information is not carved in stone.

To criticize someone for his/her information not panning out when he/she told you it wasn't 100% certain is unfair and I think it will only discourage others from sharing any information.

I think we should be more guided going forward for those criticizing C12112. Even moogoogaipan attested that was the same information he received that SMS were likely to be sent out this week.

The smartest thing I think those criticizing C12112 should have done is to ask him to get in touch with his sauce to give us a new update.

On a lighter note, I really hope some people won't end up committing suicide if APL doesn't work in their favour. There is so much bitterness.

Who knows? He may have put any age during registration just to qualify for the CBT. Because i also wondered why he scaled through the first process of recruitment. But, that reveals the need for checking our credentials....guys lie about what they dont have o....you understand.

And again, another guy here who also, probably witnessed the situation confirmed that there was a discripancy between his age on NYSC cert and NPC (real age)

But i heared the woman clearly saying "why would you apply when you are already 28"

But the advert for gt was 'Applicants must not be more than 28 years of age as at 31st December 2018'.

There's also God's list (that's where I fall).

I also suspect there's likely to be a devil's list (he probably has his own candidates too).

They told me the things I did right (not generic answers, they responded by attaching the criteria they were looking for and how I met them). Critical thinking was one of the things they said they were looking for.

By the way my panel was pleased with me, but I'm smart enough to know that doesn't mean I already have the job because I don't know how pleased they were with the others (While I was In primary school I had a score of 96.16% and my position was 21st. Between 96.16% and 100%, there were 20 people. I hope you get my drift).

They listed some of the things they were looking for.

One of them was your ability to take your time to think when a question seems to jar you. It's not about rushing to say rubbish.

So in my feedback, one of the panelist actually commended me for taking my time to think (the question took me about 2 minutes to come up with an answer).

So you don't need to be worried

And BTW, interview schedules was based on the role you applied for, not state. On the day of my interview for instance, PH, Lagos were there.

4 days earlier, a colleague of mine who did CBT with me same time and same centre had his interview but he applied for a different role and he confirmed he was on his panel with people with similar roles.

I will repeat, APL will be based on roles vs FCC.

I laugh when I see people say the probability of getting APL is 50/50.

That may be true;
1. If you're sure you performed exceedingly well in the interview and others didn't (but how can your be sure when you don't know how others performed)

2. Your course will be allocated the highest slot

3. Your state will be allocated the highest slot.

Probably if this 3 conditions are true, your probability of getting APL may be greater than 50%.


Based on the comments on the number of intake people have been postulating (highest 1400) and the number who were called for interview (lowest 7000). The best probability of getting APL is 20%.

I for one, didn't really put much expectations in this NNPC job at the onset. I almost didn't write the CBT and when I did, I told everyone I met at my test center that I wasn't expecting to be called because the CBT was simple and I knew I wouldn't score 60/60 (I'm from Ekiti state, so I expected others to have scored the full mark and depending on how high the cutoff was, I wasn't sure I would make the cut)

Prior to the interview, I had only been too (Kwara, and all states in southwest, except Ondo). So going to Abuja and entering the towers only meant that for the first time I became invested in the job and I guess that is why most people are so emotional about the whole thing.

For those who believe in God, the smartest thing to do is to keep praying (although, I believe the best time to have started is prior to the interview), not all this bickering going on here, the odds are not really good.

If you're so confident about your performance, do you know how others performed?.

Not just that. I need to say something that has been giving me concern.

I respect Jarus and Mosgoon, but there is so much worshiping going on this thread.

Everyone should be confident in his/her skills and experience, it's not like we are all in the same field. If certain people think Jarus and Mosgoon not receiving alert spells good omen for all who haven't received transport fare from NNPC, then I think a new religion is already emanating on this thread.

That said, there's also the madness of people asking for LOMS. Mosgoon specifically stated it's for those who intend to work for consulting firms.

It's clear, it's taking a lot of his energy and effort to send the LOMS to the people requesting for it, but I think it will be sheer wickedness for anyone to request for it without intending to put time and effort into whatever he sends.

Furthermore, I hope people won't commit suicide when APL gets distributed.

Finally, we were told at the towers in clear English (not French or Spanish) that we will be given a token for transport fare, I don't know if the English wasn't clear enough.
