Business / Re: Setting Up A Cybercafe: Detailed Requirements Please by kanugab(m): 9:41pm On Jun 12, 2007
@ babaklazz,
babklazz solution to your problem has been profered for long by the GSM operators in Nigeria. With just a modern connected to your laptop and a simm inside, you can browse anywhere there is MTN network in Nigeria. So, I suppose there is MTN network in your school, so you can get connected there just with a modern and a simm. browse at any coner, any location, even in your village or in your car while on travelling. The charge is just 12k per month payable to mtn. Meanwhile, they charge 27k for the modern, 13k5 for first month payment and 6k5 for activation to limited access.
Just walk into any MTN customer service center and make the request. I have helped some people to get it (corporate guys) and collect 60k. In case you don't have time, u can link me up indomitable76@yahoo.com

Computers / Better Isp For Subcription? Cyber Cafes Are Dying by kanugab(m): 6:57pm On Jun 07, 2007
Tired of slow internet speed. almost all the ISPs would promise to deliver. But once they collect your money, the game is over and a new ball game of one dissappointment after another would begin. And for this, many cafes have been forced to closed down and many are at the verge of closing. Please, is there no reliable ISP in nija where one can subcribe and work at least for 6months before they star teling stories

Business / Re: UBA PLC: My Complaints by kanugab(m): 8:19pm On Jun 01, 2007
official:

UBA -----> Useless Bank of Africa
Stupid, Poor service, you will always be on the line as if you are there to beg for food
I can never have an account with them
big for nothing
God punish them
They are thieves
they will definitely rundown in da name of jesus. Amen
better go close your account before it will happen

This is a typical african man faith. I really can't find concrete reason for hating uba. if there are many people at a branch why not go to the nearest branch as i know they have branches scattered all over. may be you went to the branch with old uba staff , try a branch that started with std trust. calling them thieves, have ur money lost there before, involve efcc. praying for them to close, i wonder which God will answer such a prayer. u know how many nigerians that will go under when such happens.

kaecy5 link=topic=56381.msg1161498#msg1161498 date=1180721395:

don't be decieved that uba share price is doing well because it would soon drop and drop very hard

it is simply over priced right now, just like cardbury was doing stock market fraud some year back so is uba doing theirs now

simply take your money out of that bank i, i have closed my account with them ever since they robbed me of withdrawing money from another branch

kaecy5 can u tell us the parameters you use for your analysis. are they fundamental or technical. why not talk something that will ,

I actually don't bank with them. but most of the times i have been to do some other biz, i think their customer services are ok, except when u jam staff from former uba. Those ones , to change might be in another generation
Business / Re: Lagos Imposes Levy On Generator Owners! by kanugab(m): 6:52pm On May 31, 2007
Its very unfortunate that anything goes in nija and i won't be surprise the stupid gov agencies feeding their pockets in the name of implementing this policy. I spend hell in feeling my generator with dissel. The biz i started when dissel was 22naira is still selling the same price when the same dissel is now 96 and above.
Now I'm being asked to pay more money in order to run my generator when it is costing me hell to maintain its constant failure due to "effectiveness" of phcn hhhhhhhhmmmmmm

@ debosky
you are compairing nija with america and canada forgetting that there was language in their dictionary called POWER WITHOLDING. In order words, they might not use their generators for years. Even Ghana here have celebrated one uninterruption power supply.

FASHOLA,
Remember that the masses you are punishing are the ones voted you in enmass. Is this a welcome gift unto us. We are looking up to your gov for a better future. I wonder who is advises u , on a wrong route
You are trying to clear our environment. Clear our gutters and get rid of mosquistos that live in the gutters to inflict diseases on the people you re trying to protect.
