Liverpool only played two games after 100days mandatory break to win the league with 7 games remaining.

That's record breaking. First ever team to win EPL Championship with 7 games remaining. Impressive!
Crime / Re: Mass Killings In Southern Kaduna, Scores Buried, Many Flee (Disturbing Pix) by Koolking(m): 3:27pm On May 28, 2020
Southern Nigeria's interest in the north is sickening. Sadly, this interest does not stem out of sympathy and empathy, it is sheer mockery and praise for what befalls the north. Any unfortunate situation in the north is blown out of proportion by the southerners.

What happened in southern kaduna is not different from the incessant communal clashes (allegedly term) that claim thousands of lives in the south. Today Enugu, tomorrow Calabar, next report, Abia state and so on. It never ends. But nobody seems to care in the south. We are only interested in mocking the north.

We are pathetic, insidious and wicked. So much for Christianity in the south. Fools

Evacuating your Nationals in other countries with foreign airlines,
While foreign nationals in your country are being airlifted by their own domestic airlines...
Our politicians are EVIL

It doesn't matter which airlines the govt use. Foreign nationals or Returnees all pay for their respective flight tickets.

Nigerian govt negotiated good deals for the Returnees. Govt took advantage of the empty foreign airlines coming to Nigeria to evacuate their citizens. Give credit for once when deserving.

DontCough:
Honestly, the Igbos have been cheated many times in the Presidential Leadership, that been said, for those who have a great interest of Nigeria at heart will agree that the man who is capable of repositioning Nigeria in a balanced state is Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
He is more than qualified to lead Nigeria into a balanced state, where many Igbo Presidential Leaders will emerge in a future staring in our eyes.
The Prof is Capable, Able, Compassionate & bewilled with Passion to lead Nigeria back to her lost Glory. This wasn't typed out of emotions & feelings but rather typed from insights of how Great a Leader Prof. Yemi is.

Professor Yemi Osinbajo means well for all Nigerians.

Come on, let us be objective, If the Igbos had any chance it was during the PDP era. Their loyalty and contributions for the success of PDP were unquestionable. They refused to learn after the defeat of PDP in 2015. Politics is not emotions, it's a game of interest and making partnerships that work. The Igbos cling too tight to PDP for my likings and choose to play trivial opposition. Not until they realise their mistakes and play real politics, politics devoid of senseless propaganda and hatred, ethnic and religious division. Politics of at least strong tripartite union, the East (South South), the west and the north. This is a common union in Nigeria that determine presidency. Their contributions to the party in power must be felt. The can't continue to put all their eggs in one basket, lest they continue to play the second fiddle.

35 deaths is beer-parlor opinion

How can you compare 35 deaths with 50,000 deaths

Avalancheman:

Coronavirus has been in Nigeria since January. We currently have as many as 100,000 cases. Yet only 35 deaths!!
Even during the Biafra war, Nigerians were balling and many were not even aware that there was an ongoing war.
Coronavirus is NOT for Africa!
Had we been hard hit like US, UK and co, we would all have been dead by now... embarassed

then when the poor are unable to feed... get ready for massive unrest in the state...

Then u'll Understand government of the people

Just stop it! It's mob mentality to believe hunger leads to unrest. I don't understand why people attribute hunger to armed robbery and civil unrest?
A hungry man would rather beg for bread than buys a gun and use it to burgle shops or rob others. If someone tells you he robbed because he was hungry, he is telling a lie. He already had the spirit and and an intention backed by motive.
It's easier to acquire N100 bread than acquire weapons for unrest.

With the rampaging pandemic not slowing down and many folks suffering under the pressure of hunger, there is a great debate on whether the lockdown should be lifted.

Option 1:
Maintain the lockdown, provide palliatives and increase testing and medical response.

Option 2:
Lift lockdown within the country, block international flights, enforce face masks, hand washing, use of hand sanitisers, etc. And let us battle it head long till there is a cure.

Which part of the debate are you?

Option 2 can never work in a country like Nigeria. Citizens, especially Lagosians have not complied with the mandatory lockdown, how much more voluntary lockdown. Our case will be worst than USA if option 2 is applied. A lot of Nigerian still don't believe there is COVID-19, they feel govt is lying hence they're asking for names, pictures and videos of the patients. These are the types that will infect thousands due to their careless living out of freedom.

Mandatory lockdown and complete enforcement by the military (not the Police) at least 2 more weeks will flatten the curve.

Palliatives? Govt can not provide palliatives for everybody. Where is the fund? We have to stop deceiving ourselves. We are in a war situation. Who will survive will survive. Factly, humans will always adjust and adapt for survival.

Who else did not recieve Nepa bill for April? They normally bring it between 17th and 23rd but I still have not seen mine. Is it that the FG really relieved us of our April Nepa bill?

April bill can never be ready within the same April. April bill will be delivered between 10 - 15 May.
Last bill shared was for March. Bills for the month cannot come within the same month. Double check comment.

I surprised nobody said anything to the contrary, but exert energy cussing the govt as usual. We are indeed a peculiar people.

1. The danger of COVID-19 becoming widespread still lurking as daily tests reveal more cases especially in Lagos State.

2. However, extending the presidential lockdown will be ill-advised because people are now merely hanging in there and waiting agonizingly for midnight of Monday 27 April. Hell will be let loose if extension happens.

3. Given the basic nature of our economy, it might be dangerous for businesses to have too long a downtime as government may not be able to give massive stimulus.

It is catch-22 situation but times like these are why people stood in the son to vote for some people.

Never assume the worst. No hell will be let loose if govt extends the lockdown. Humans are selfish and would always want what's best for him/her. Govt on the other hand wants what's best for all. People are hungry, I get it, but trust me, no one wants to put himself at a disadvantage position with govt.
Govt is hit the hardest with the lockdown.
With no vaccine against COVID-19, human race is on the brink of extinction. Extreme situation requires extreme measures. I support any measure by govt to curb the spread. This is the only option available to us.
Human has a tendency to adjust and adapt to any situation. After God is govt.

If you agree with minions and mischief makers that Buhari is the problem of Nigeria because he has no certificate, how about your state governor who under-developed your state even with his procured certificate? At least, the 36 state governors have your kind of acceptable certificates yet Nigerian states are in shackles and penury.

It's sad that the Nigerian youths are most naive, docile, tribal and religiously bigoted set of people in the world. They will never considered national issue objectively. They can't be taken seriously.

Certificate in Nigeria is a scam. Anyone can procure it in Nigeria.

All over the world the government in one way or the other monitors call no doubt.

The question now is why is Boko Haram has not been wiped out?

secondly, if has not been passed, that means govt needs to be sued too.

This is the most terrible time to be a nigerian.

You can't wipe out terrorism. Terrorism is not a conventional war where you know your enemies. It has come to stay with civilisation. America is still fighting Talibans in Afghanistan more than 15years after. Boko Haram lurks in the shadow, they are not regular militia group. Members live among us. Let stop deceiving ourselves waiting on govt. the Nigerian people, community leaders' partnership with govt can end the war. The northerners need to do more to help the govt by reporting people with suspicious behaviours.

Being a Nigerian is the best thing there is.

Seriously... I support this line of thought and action. For crying out loud we pay taxes, oil is mined and sold to run this friggin government yet their primary duty which is to secure life and property is left in the hands of the citizens.

Falana is joking as always.

Dead on arrival line of thought. How would the govt verify you were kidnapped and you eventually paid ransom to secure your release? Are kidnappers giving receipts of payments now? Ransom fees will not even be affordable since govt will refund the kidnapped. Nigerians will incorporate businesses just to kidnap family members.
