What you are childishly implying as being weak or "scared" is actually called SELF RESTRAINT. That's what China, Russia and those other mushroom tyrannical nations don't have. And that's why you should be grateful that America is the world leader and not China or Russia.

It's similar to the difference between Goodluck and Buhari. (I know you probably think that Good luck is weak while Buhrai is strong). The inky difference is that unlike Goodluck, American a can use power very decisively at a strategic time. If you're in doubt, go and study the history of WW2. And pay attention to when, why and how America entered it.

WriterNig:

And what other weapons does the U.S have that Russia does not have? Mention one and I'll show you the Russian version (even better) right now.

If they're scared of a nuclear war, then truly they're not a world power.

They're just bullies to weaker countries.

God is not on your side, neither are the scriptures. Equating the USA to mystery Babylon is erroneous.

With its many shortcomings, America remains the best country that has ever existed on this earth. It is the ever shining national beckon of hope for mankind. It's God's own country. The largest support base for Christianity and human welfare/security globally.

True that the godless and amoral leftwing lunatics hope to destroy her from the inside, but the nation has historically sown so much righteous seeds that it would be literally impossible to destroy her without destroying the whole earth itself. So it's carnal to lump millions of righteous Americans together with the amoral few and condemn them to destruction in the name of prophecy.

It's the American experiment that first declared that all men (and by extension all humans) are created equal. The world owes its individual liberty to American patriarchs who put their trust in God (from whom they believed came their rights to life and liberty), and spilled their own blood to defend that liberty/rights to be free.

Righteousness2:
The Physical Fall of "Mystery Babylon" aka Nomerica seems to more Quicker than I thought .
I Just Hope Individuals and Nations are with take something to learn from Nomerica.

It is GOD that raises someone up! It is the same GOD that brings down.
GOD is no respecter of Persons! Then that Honor HIM , HE Honors, them that Despise HIM, HE despises.

Btw now and 2025/2026, I see Nomerica as a 3rd world nation.

Politics / Re: Who Is Onye Igbo And Why Some Are Confused by KratosCorp: 9:21am On Nov 22, 2021
Nigeria is the most dangerously diverse country in the world. There is no other country in the world that has near equal population of Christians and Muslims (or other two opposing religious ideologies) and at the same time has near equal population of three dominant cultures/ethnic groups: Igbo, Housa, Yoruba.

Every single thriving developed country in the world has a single DOMINANT cultural/ethnic/religious group (with clear majority). Every single one. And even those with semblance of high diversity has a very decentralized system if government totally unlike what you have in Nigeria.

Anything with two or more heads is a monster.

The divisions in the USA today is rooted on the fact that they have two opposing politic ideologies that have near equal control over the population size.

How come you are unable to love IPOB in particular and Igbo's in general? Or is it just evil, corrupt, and oppressive people you love?

You and Femi have had your consciences so hardened that rather than getting convicted by truth you get infuriated in defense of evil.

Are these people crazy or what?

You compare Q2, 2021 (post-covid scare and post-vaccine dev when businesses and transportation are opened up)

VS

Q2, 2020 (during worst covid scare and pre-vaccine, when businesses and transportation were shut down) and here you are building propaganda on a single digit rebound, when even the developed economies are recording double digits.

In six years you could not even get the growth rate back to what it was when you took over, yet you are here celebrating mediocrity.

Well, this your reality distortion will come back to bite you guys in Q2, 2022.

I know someone who borrowed 5k for data (2gig for a start) a laptop, plus tab that was previously gifted to him (used for both WiFi and writing) to start freelance writing on Upwork in December 2014. He got his first 5 hours gig in February 2015 for $3/hr (after more than 2 months of fearless grinding and efforts to land that super illusive first gig). He completed the gig with joy and got his first glowing 5-star review.

Today the guy has grown to become a digital marketing strategist and consultant purely by self development and brutal commitment to excellence and self-driven learning.

To be clear, this dude never attended secondary school once in his life let alone a university. But he's a super bright autodidact, with a vampire level of resilience.

Sheriman:

Tell him that not just all these 100K PC of 4 GIG RAM oooo. For 3D Animation you need a high end laptop of 16 GIG RAM with Nvidia graphics card and a drawing graphics tablet. A lot of Data. Money to subscribe for the software you gonna use. 3D Animation is damn expensive

Based on your current salary, how many months can the 55k cover your living expenses and data cost?

If it can take you up to three months or more then, with dedication, positive mindset, commitment to excellence, and willingness to over-deliver and serve/help other people sacrificially, you at be on the right track.

Here's what I suggest you do:

1) Pursue and secure freelance gigs locally first. Use Nairaland, Twitter, and Facebook to demand and search for paid writing opportunities.

2) See any gig you get at this early stage as though they are paying you to learn. So, don't focus on money. No matter how little they offer you, accept the gig and do it excellently well beyond their expectations. You are are learning on the job and they are paying you to learn.

3) Research on different types of writing genres and decide the type that fits your talent mostly and also has monitizable demands that you can easily fulfil.

4) Once you have a few stable flows of gigs coming in, you will need to raise $100 and use it to open a domiciliary account (preferably GTB). Then get a dollar debit card connected to the account.

5) Then open a PayPal business account (using your legal name). You can always upgrade this to registered business name later whenever you register your business in the future.

6) Create a Fiverr account, add your PayPal email address, and expand your freelance career globally, and start earning in USD.

7) By the way, I assume you have a laptop and stable internet connection. if your 55k savings cannot cover your living expenses and data costs for 3 months or more, then you need to either save more or see if you have another means of raiding more funds.

Do this now and thank me later.

ZiiVentures:
I'll be resigning in the from my work place to venture into Freelancing full time. Why?

Because my work is so stressful. It's 6:04am and I'm already late for work. I'll be at the work place doing tedious work till 7:30pm. I'll have to be standing till that evening time of the day. It's a one man business and I risk being fired any time. From March to August, I've been able to save 55k. I don't do it drinks. Neither do I smoke or buy expensive things for myself. Well, yes. I don't have a girlfriend. So saving 55k portrays how zealous I am with the savings with the little I earn. Now, I'm facing a health challenge: a back and waist pain. So I want out.

Planning on focusing on the Freelancing route.

My worry now is, am I making the right decision?

I need your advice. What would you do if you were to be me?

To be or not to be?

I think it has something to do with his boss, Nduka. If he openly identifies as a proud Igbo man, like this guest did, I don't think Ruben would have the guts to use the platform to spew his anti Igbo sentiment.

Rugaria:

Abati is a chronic Igbo hater.
Unrepentantly petty on Igbo issues.
It runs in the blood tho. Taunting the igbos have become a tribal pastime in such places.. What is surprising though, is that most of his Igbo friends and colleagues have not started to vigorously call him out on that. From boasting about how Obasanjo will "cut of Igbo heads" as he did during the war if MASSOB disturbed his government to mocking Utomis presidential bid, he's always startled whenever he thinks the igboman is about breaking off.. Just as he was insisting on terming some "mainstream igbos" here, he also insisted on calling Nnamdi Kanu "a fugitive" after he was abducted the other day. That was even as Kanus lawyer relentlessly reminded him that the Army attacked Kanus home and killed almost 30 people forcing to run for his life. Abati is a lost cause.

British government should explain why they issued a replacement passport to a British citizen? Oh lawd.

Just imagine how depraved and animalistic Nigeria has turned you despite your education. You now defend government criminality and lawlessness with shameless vigor.

This is how you lots defended Buhari for breaking into the judges' homes at night, forcing a CJN out of office illegally to install his stooge. Now what have happened to any of those judges after the media trial?

Did you see how you conveniently left out the fact Buhari sent criminal soldiers to kill Nnamdi KANU extra-udicially - in which process they killed 28 armless young men in cold blood for choosing to stand by their leader.

Reptyle:

Only a gullible bunch of illiterates will believe the nonsense that this lawyer is spewing.

Politics / Re: Britain & Bindmans Seek Nnamdi Kanu’s Consent To Take Over Case by KratosCorp: 1:10pm On Jul 16, 2021
Mallami's press conference demolishes this line of thought. The Nigerian government has already claimed responsibility for his kidnap in a foreign country. They have NEVER claimed that he was arrested in Nigeria.

Their official claim is that they intercepted him abroad and brought him to the country. So your claim of bounty and mercenary are mere conjectures.

GoodGrace:
Please whatever you do, don't hire this Aloy guy as your lawyer. He is clearly unfit as a legal counsel.

The British government can offer consulate support to Kanu. This is not a big deal. The objective of this is to ensure that he gets fair treatment. However to state that this would result in the British government demanding for his release from the Nigerian government is idiotic.

Firstly, he was not kidnapped (extradited) from the United Kingdom. Hence, the UK can not ask for his return. At best, the UK would ask Kenya, which would deny any wrongdoing.

Secondly, to state that the would have global whatever is just a joke. Nigeria and UK are both sovereign states. Note: This news item is not mainstream. This is not the same as Umaru Dikko or Osama Bin Laden's case, where governments did not regard the territorial boundaries of other states.

Thirdly, it is a pure joke to think the appointment of a British legal firm would stir any water. Any idiot called to bar can start a firm this week, even though today is Friday. There are 2 lawyers for every cent. I worry for Kanu if he is hoping that this unknown Birdman firm would provide a god defense for him in a Nigerian court.

In the very end, the story that would come out of this is that a bounty was placed on his head, mercenaries brought him back to Nigeria... and the Nigerian government took custody of a fugitive from the law. If any one would could be said to have kidnapped him or not followed due process it would be he mercenary organization. If anyone wants to go after the mercenary organization, what you would find is a shell company in the Cayman Islands.

This lawyer had better start preparing a good defense for his client. But this guy is a "miss-road" lawyer. With all the money that Kanu has, he should be able to get a better defense for himself. To focus on the case of extradition would be a joke.

If Mandela could survive almost 3 decades in prison to racist apartheid government, then Nnamdi Kanu should consider Nigerian prison as a chilling room. Why? Because he’s in safe hands as the Presidency is conscious about keeping him well and healthy until his trial.

IPOB should be careful of their utterances as no one is falling for it anymore, not Igbo elites, not Ohaneze and not Igbo intelligentsia. They should stay clear from political manipulations by failed politicians who want to use them to return back to power. At the appropriate time, we’ll ask the federal government to consider lightening his sentence to patrol and possibly rehabilitate both him and his IPOB followers.

Let me state here that IPOB does not represent Ndigbo. Nnamdi Kanu’s cause should be separated from the aspirations of Ndigbo. And you can't repair a house that has a faulty foundation.

Let us agitate responsibly. Every part of this country have legit reasons to rise up against the state cos Nigeria hasn't meet up with expectations of any region. It is better we work with other regions to achieve our goals rather than going it alone and getting defeated all the time. You Igbos are the one who are actually sabotaging Igbo collective political interest in Nigeria. The correct question should be, why is it that 50 years after the civil war, very angry Igbo influencers like KANU still emerge and gain massive grassroots followership among the Igbo's both at home and in diaspora?

You can only answer that question truthfully and quit ranting about Nnamdi KANU when you become humane enough to grasp the cause of his rising. But I'm not surprised - after all you are that string of Igbos who feel superior when they sabotage the collective.

When will you ignorant kids quit coming online to spew nonsense?

Contrary to your false narrative, what Nnamdi KANU and his group are currently doing/experiencing are the same things past freedom fighters did/experienced, from Scotland, to South Africa, and even the USA .

Just read the following to educate yourself a bit:

1)
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_National_Liberation_Army

2)

3)
https://allthingsliberty.com/2016/04/top-10-patriot-militia-commanders-of-the-revolutionary-war/

And do know the following:

a) The more insincere, brutal and insulting you and Nigeria become to IPOB the more you and the govt get more people radicalized.

b) If IPOB eventually succeed in their cause, regardless of how long it takes, their leaders will be regarded as heroes for many centuries, regardless of all the insults and brutality they get from people and govt at the moment.

Casham:
Na wa o! I keep telling all who care to be reasonable that no nation on earth that is built on the rule of law will defend the activities of IPoB and Kanu. It is not wrong to fight for the right for self-determination, but these people (and the Igboho boys) are going about it the wrong way. Study the Scotland case and see the difference. Most of these 'Nelson Mandela wannabes' are only riding on the widespread dissatisfaction with the present leadership to chase clout and spite the government. Kanu will face justice and no nation will raise a finger. But all eyes will be on his case to ensure no violation of his rights is made. That's the best he can get. But I don't see him getting a sentence of more than ten years in jail. Lets stop all these hate and unite to face the real problems we have which are corruption, insecurity, unemployment and poverty. All these agitations are only a distraction to cause division and bring tribalism into the picture. We are the giant of Africa and we will be greater together.
