Webmasters / Which Of These Skills Will Be More In Demand Abroad? by Krusty: 8:57pm On Jul 29, 2018
Guys please I need advice.
I would like to travel abroad in the near future to further my education but first, I'll like to equip myself with some relevant skills.

I stumbled on NIIT some time ago and I decided to do a digital course with them. However, I'm confused on which one to go for.
I'm torn between Web development and Java programming.
Guys, which of the aforementioned programs do you think will be more lucrative and relevant abroad?
Your opinions are highly needed.

I do both at my current firm here in Nigeria, they call it (Full Stack developer). I think both are very lucrative. But you have to choose which one you would grasp faster and better. I think career should about passion though.

But I will advise you to choose web development, since you are relatively new to IT world. You will learn HTML, CSS and Javascript which are simple and easy to grasp unlike Java. You can then advance to Java, C++ or Python. OOP is vast... You can get frustrated and quit. Mind you I started with Java like 5 years ago.

Note: Java will help a lot in school if you are going to study Engineering related course.
thanks

Just like a typical Nigerian politicians, when one manages to leave the crowd, he/she barks at the those struggling while shutting the door..

Am not supporting fraud, but if the leaders have been up and about, we wont get here. 419 has been there even before we were born, its in every nation but only pronounced in Nigeria because we have failed leaders but hardworking youths with nowhere to channel that resourcefulness and energy.

What do you expect really in a nation of 200m, with only 20% being gainfully employed, others are either underemployed or unemployed.
Typical shameless Nigerian. Talking from both sides of his mouth. Mtchew
