LoL Ramos should stay put at CB instead we try Militao there but Zizou already has makeshift RBs he can use already
How dare you quench my weed.

Yea, Zizou is already winking at his baby Vasquez. Nacho will be better though. I personally would like to see how militao fares there.

Ramos shouldn't play anywhere but CB bro grin
Lol you're right, but the thought alone of Vasquez there makes my stomach churn.

Would be midly amusing to see Ramos play there though. I think he'll do well, that's if he doesn't forget he's there to defend & assumes the role of winger.. grin

So I have a really crazy theory.

Erm, clears throat..

What if instead of using people whose lack of experience/efficiency would give us serious--- I mean SERIOUS-- problems at right back which would affect the whole team & our defense & probably cause us to start loosing games, we use Sergio Ramos at right back instead.

Then varane/militao combo CB for the meantime.

Sentiments aside, think about this.

Only a few are saying it now. And the few saying it are either portrayed as blind, aliens, or mentally challenged.

But one day. One day we'll all have a general consensus that we need a competent striker and that the so-called big d1ck Benz is actually a Peugeot 504 that's small down there.

I hope, though, that day is not anytime soon.

Decisions like the audacity to start those two boys in a much needed game when a fit Gareth sits on the bench is one of the goofs that will see the bald man gone at the end of the season.

And frankly, this time around he won't be missed.

Ferland Mendy offers absolutely nothing going forward. Absolutely nothing. Ziltch. Nada.. This is fucking 2019, not 19 fucking 22 or 2000 BC. Na to dey open mouth like cobra you sabi. Idiiiot..

Benzeema is in form --- Okay. Big Benz -- Okay. Link up play -- okay. But anybody who seriously expects us to do anything noteworthy(and by noteworthy you know what I mean) this season with Benzeema as our only major hope in front of goal will be in for a very big shocker. Like a VERY big one.

I understand that he's currently in form. And by form, we probably mean he's converting the chances any okay striker in Europe's elite club ought probably convert in the first, so in respect to this form, i'll just keep some reservations i have until the appropriate time.

It's sad that we've descended to the lowest echelon, gotten so used to that position that we now feel this current Benzeema is enough to give us what we actually need. Sad.

Three absolutely unnecessary draws from three matches that we could have gotten more than just ordinary 3 points is clearly a sign that the team is still clearly lacking something . As for me I believe it's a proper finisher and by proper finisher you know what I mean. Not just one who just converts chances any okay striker should convert in the first place but one who converts chances you never saw coming..and also rises to the occasion in difficult games.

Of the three draws, na this useless today own pain me pass sha. Like wtf!!!

My God!!! Odegarrd is fffucking glorious. He bossed the entire middle and controlled the entire game. Damn. We need him back ASAP.

What a player. I was surprised that Suarez got awarded King of the match over him.

IF, and it's a big IF, our attackers turn-up, & are clinical with thier chances, there's no way this Barca is getting a favourable result against us on Wednesday. No way.

Lack of clinical finishing and utilization of clear-cut chances had always been our bane on the occasions they got favourable results over us. If we fix that come Wednesday, lord knows camp Nou will be silent on Wednesday night.

Business / Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by Ksslib(m): 11:34am On Sep 29, 2019
I have been a silent follower of this thread for verrrrry long time and have not found the need to make a comment because I haven't invested in domaining, hence no sales report, hence no need to comment.

I usually prefer to watch, but if I don't say something on this one, my throat might likely burst from the pressure build-up of the anger I have been holding back.

The person who shared the link of this thread to NP is not wise at all. No need to mince words here, we are not babies, neither is it an insult. It is a proper observation. The person lacks emotional intelligence and foresight. Why in God's precious name will you share the link of a family meeting that has benefitted and changed alot of lives to a gathering in which our direct & indirect competitors are probably present? People who most of do not even like you in the first place, and feel you can never/should not be superior to them in anyway, including financially.

Do you realise the implications of that singular act of carelessness? Why do we always get carried away the moment it involves a foreigner? The disadvantages of sharing that link far outweighs any preconceived advantages. You just rush share link because you were carried away, forgetting that this is business, and business is war for people like them, and war is strategy.

A simple "Hey guys, do you think it will be okay to share this thread's link?" would have been better. And it would have been discussed, sighting advantages and disadvantages. Do you think they don't have thier own secret, private cocoons where they discuss strategy too? Why dem no share am give us too?

Iyke singlehandedly created this thread, other gurus continue to contribute to it, people are making money and benefiting from it, so what other big advantages were you in pursuit of that made you share the link in the first place?

For those saying why are some bothered when we have nothing to hide. Of course, we have nothing to hide beacause, truly, domaining is not illegal. But I hope you do realise now that thanks to someone's quick fingers any domainer(or group of domainers) over there with the capital who already have a vendetta against people like us climbing the ladder can make things quite a little bit more difficult, especially for newbies learning the ropes -- which has been the pride of this thread.

I honestly would not blame other experts if they decide to henceforth hold back some of thier winning strategies that might have benefitted alot of upcomings here, because now they are not so sure that thier direct competitors are not watching and taking notes. There is a big difference between helping your adopted family grow with strategies that work you, and telling those same strategies to your direct competitors. Big difference

Now this thread suddenly has this uncomfortable vibe, like a family meeting being held in your local dialect but with a tiny inch of suspicion that the stranger sitting across the room can hear.

And as for that Rob guy, I never liked him. I can read people from a mile away. There's something sneaky about him and he can't fool me. He's a businessman above everything else, so he better stop with all the showmanship. The insensitivity of the comment he made about Nigerian fraud to the Nigerian guy that works for him says alot about how his brain works. The other comment he then made about Indians being worse shows he is someone who talks from both sides of his mouth and has deregatory tendencies, which he tries to hide, against perceived third-world countries.

Trust me, he says worse about us behind our backs. It is common sense.

Lastly, I apologise to y'all for this long epistle, the thing just dey pain me say we Nigerians and Africans in general trust too much and become jittery the moment in involves a foreigner, forgetting that it is only a few of them that can tolerate us if they have nothing to gain from us.

I have been following this thread for a very long time now. I have seen it help and change lives because it's basically a community where fellow Nigerians support and help eachother grow -- which is very rare.

And if anybody tries to jeopardize that due to lack of foresight or artificial misplaced excitement that will soon wane off when reality starts crashing in, then that person should be scolded with harsh words if need be or ostracized from the community. No time to pamper people whose actions , knowingly or unknowingly, will make things difficult for others.

May God grant Nigerians and we Africans in general the wisdom to be wise and alert and not get easily carried away..... because our continent desperately needs it. Amen.

Happy Sunday.... (goes back to hiding)

I was listening to music yesterday inside a BRT when I looked through the window and saw a trailer carrying a big blue container with the bold words "APL" inscribed on it. I couldn't take a picture because it moved away too fast.

I remembered you guys and smiled. May this long wait bring all of you good fortune. Amen.

Although, las las, we must win this game like the Celta Vigo game. Not that I'm banking on it, but it'd be nice to stretch our lead over Barca to 4 points (even if we may not maintain it).

Yes. This is a must win game, considering our last result. Draw sef no go sweet me.

I just pray this season becomes a direct opposite of previous seasons where we'll play shiit in Laliga then beast-up in champions league.

Why can't you be positive for your team for once?
Who positivity epp? Positivity does not win football games. Actual football does.

Abeg we don try with the positivity. Even with the shit-show pre-season we had, we the fans came into the season with positivity, that things will change even though the signs said otherwise.

How do you remain positive after beating small teams but only unconvincingly, after getting thrashed, outplayed and schooled like toddlers by a team missing three of thier best players, and having zero shot on target? How do you remain positive knowing your first choice keeper is basically a fishing net with the wide promiscuous thighs of a f**cking prostitute?

Even the defense is rubbish. I don't even want to attempt to wrap my head around what will happen to our already-dead midfield the day Caesemiro picks up a knock. Even the coach is beginning to look clueless. The fact that our saving grace, his saving grace this season has been the player he openly humiliated and wanted gone not too long ago by all means, does not help his case atall.

If we win at Seville today, then great, we will celebrate. But for now, allow those who want to be negative to be negative. We have earned that right. What did positivity give us last season?

Thanks for taking out time to logically provide answers, he badly wants it such we strongly might definitely proceed.

For clarity @ number 3, many folks have said one can't lose admission.... So if I may ask u what happens to the departmentless folks as you opined up there?? Then what happened to all the unsuccessful folks during your set? Lost admission, revert back to where they are coming from or moved to a new department.

Thanks, await your response.
Yes, I have never heard of a case someone lost admission.

After the unsuccessful folks were signed out from their departments and the new department still didn't accept them, it would be logical to assume they were deparmentless for a certain period of time behind the scenes, even though they weren't aware.

I'm guessing it was during this period of departmentless ness they were moved to another department they never chose -- Structural enginering -- to fix that.

When the list came out and they saw their names beside new departments they never chose, they contacted their course adviser requesting the move to be cancelled, so they remained in their department. Had they not contacted their course advisers within the stipulated period the instruction told them to, they would have been moved to structural engineering, permanently.

Thanks for d input.

He is changing from one Engineering course to another (I believe the gap here is not wide) and he is on a first class...shldn't that be easy??

Don't know transfer is that complex at Uniben.
Electrical enginering is a very competitive and loved course in the faculty of Engineering, Uniben. They receive more applications than available slots.

Transfer in engineering is easier if you know somebody. Not saying it is impossible to transfer without knowing somebody, but knowing somebody will save you guys alot of tension and uncertainty since we're talking about a non-refundable transfer fee of 50k here.

Things you should know:

1.. Since Uniben started their jupeb program, the available slots normally reserved for transfer students has drastically reduced, because they also need to accommodate successful jupebites into 200level, too. It will be logical to assume that incoming successful electrical jupebites will be given preference over enginering students looking to switch departments. Nevertheless, I believe they'll always be slots for transfer students but jupeb has a process that was almost 100% guaranteed years ago, now a little bit tougher.

2. To put the above into perspective, none of the people I knew -- and they were alot --- who bought transfer forms to electrical during our time were successful, except one guy who knew somebody that helped according to him.

3. Once you buy transfer form and your department approves, normally by HOD's signature, they SIGN YOU OUT. This means you're no longer a student of that department. Now, if the new department does not approve your tranfer request it means you're now stuck in a place Catholics refer to as "Purgatory". You're neither here or there.. You're departmentless..(grammar)

4. During our time, even though their transfer requests into electrical was not successful, guess what happened? They moved all of them to another department in engineering they didn't even choose. They were lucky that they saw thier names on the list -- Uniben pastes transfer list at exams and records -- when it came out and were told to contact thier Course adviser within a certain period of time to reverse it if they still wanted to remain in thier departments.

5. As weird and painful as this may sound, your brother's stellar academic record might become his bane, because it is not unheard of for Head of departments to refuse signing transfer forms of their best students. No depratment wants to loose thier best student, under any circumstance. However, I'm sure they won't try to keep him against his will at gun point, but I won't be surprised if they try to tactically talk him out of it. Or sabotage it( I've heard it happens, but maybe it's just beer parlour gist).

6. Since the only guy in my department who was successful( I also knew alot of people from other departments who weren't successful too) didn't particularly have a steller academic record, we can say class of degree at time of transfer is not that much a big deal( I think the only criteria is for the student not to be probating) . However, it is only logical to assume that as no depratment wants to lose thier best student, it is the same way every depratment will want to take in the best.

7. But as you know, parsing logic together with how Nigeria really works is like trying to marry oil and water. Will a first class student be considered over someone whose Uncle plays ludo with a certain lecturer?

This is a question only a non-refundable transfer fee of 50k( if it's still 50k) can answer. If the money is there, I feel it's a gamble worth taking depending on how bad the boy wants it.
